Claims (3)
- 閉空間に配置される振動板に接続される加振部を周期的に駆動して前記振動板を振動させ、前記閉空間に穿設された開孔から空気を噴出・吸引させるシンセティック・ジェット・アクチュエータを車体に取り付け、車両が走行するときの空気抵抗を低減させるようにした車両の空気抵抗低減装置において、前記アクチュエータの開孔から噴出される空気の噴出方向が前記車体に沿って流れる空気の流れ方向と平行となるように前記アクチュエータの開孔を位置させると共に、少なくとも前記車両の走行速度に基づいて前記加振部の駆動周波数を決定する駆動周波数決定手段と、前記決定された駆動周波数に基づいて前記加振部を駆動する加振部駆動手段とを備えると共に、前記アクチュエータの開孔が、前記車両の後部において前記車体壁面に生成される境界層の剥離点の付近に位置させられることを特徴とする車両の空気抵抗低減装置。
- 前記駆動周波数決定手段は、前記車両の走行速度に応じて予め設定された前記駆動周波数の特性を検索して前記加振部の駆動周波数を決定することを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両の空気抵抗低減装置。
- 前記駆動周波数の特性は、前記車両の走行速度と前記車体に作用する空気抵抗に基づいて予め設定されることを特徴とする請求項2記載の空気抵抗低減装置。
