Claims (17)
- 走査線、データ線、及び発光制御線の交差部に位置する画素と、
前記画素を含み、2つ以上のブロックに分割される画素部と、
前記走査線に走査信号を順次に供給するための走査駆動部と、
前記走査信号に同期するように、前記データ線にデータ信号を供給するためのデータ駆動部と、
前記ブロック単位で前記発光制御線に接続される2つ以上の発光駆動部とを備え、
前記発光駆動部は、自身と接続した発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給し、前記ブロック単位で少なくとも1つ以上の発光制御信号は同じ時点に供給され、
前記ブロックのうち、最初のブロックに含まれた発光制御線に接続される発光駆動部と、前記ブロックのうち、最後のブロックに含まれた発光制御線に接続される発光駆動部は、自身と接続した1番目の発光制御線から最後の発光制御線に発光制御信号を順次に供給することを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記最後のブロックに含まれた発光制御線に接続される発光駆動部は、前記最後のブロックの1番目の走査線に走査信号が供給された後、自身と接続した1番目の発光制御線から最後の発光制御線に発光制御信号を順次に供給することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記最初のブロック及び最後のブロックを除く残りのブロックに含まれた発光制御線とそれぞれ接続する発光駆動部も、自身と接続した1番目の発光制御線から最後の発光制御線に発光制御信号を順次に供給することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記発光駆動部とそれぞれ接続した前記1番目の発光制御線に供給される発光制御信号は同時に供給されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記最初のブロックに含まれた発光制御線に接続される発光駆動部は、最初のブロックの1番目の走査線に走査信号が供給される前まで、自身と接続した1番目の発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 発光制御線に供給される発光制御信号の幅はすべて同一に設定されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記画素部は、3つのブロックに分割され、前記最後のブロックは、第3ブロックであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記ブロックのうち、前記最初のブロックは、第1ブロックであり、その第1ブロックに形成された発光制御線に接続された発光駆動部は、自身と接続した1番目の発光制御線から最後の発光制御線に発光制御信号を順次に供給することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第1ブロック及び第3ブロックにそれぞれ形成された1番目の発光制御線には、同時に発光制御信号が供給されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記ブロックのうち、第2ブロックに形成された発光制御線に接続された発光駆動部は、自身と接続した最後の発光制御線から1番目の発光制御線に発光制御信号を順次に供給することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第2ブロックに形成された発光制御線に接続された発光駆動部は、第2ブロックに形成された最後の走査線に走査信号が供給された後、自身と接続した最後の発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記3つのブロックのうち、真ん中に位置する第2ブロックに含まれる発光制御線の数が、第1ブロック及び第3ブロックに含まれる発光制御線の数より多く設定されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第2ブロックに含まれた発光制御線に接続された発光駆動部は、自身と接続した発光制御線に同時に発光制御信号を供給することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第2ブロックに含まれた発光制御線に供給される発光制御信号は、第3ブロックに含まれた1番目の発光制御線に供給される発光制御信号と同時に供給されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記最初のブロックである第1ブロックに含まれた発光制御線に接続された発光駆動部は、自身と接続した1番目の発光制御線から最後の発光制御線に発光制御信号を順次に供給することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第1ブロックの最後の発光制御線に供給される発光制御信号は、前記第2ブロックに含まれた発光制御線に供給される発光制御信号と同時に供給されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記画素の各々は、
有機発光ダイオードと、
走査線に走査信号が供給されたとき、データ信号に対応する電圧を充電し、充電された電圧に対応して前記有機発光ダイオードに供給される電流量を制御する画素回路と、
前記有機発光ダイオードと前記画素回路との間に接続され、発光制御線に発光制御信号が供給されたときにターンオンされ、その他の場合にターンオフされる制御トランジスタとを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
