Description
本発明は、樹脂フィルムの上に形成された光硬化型樹脂塗膜に光を照射して該光硬化型樹脂塗膜を硬化させる光照射装置およびその光照射装置を用いた積層フィルムの製造方法に関する。 The present invention relates to a light irradiation apparatus for irradiating light on a photocurable resin coating film formed on a resin film to cure the photocurable resin coating film, and a method for producing a laminated film using the light irradiation apparatus About.
On the surface of various displays such as liquid crystal displays and plasma displays, a film (hereinafter sometimes referred to as a laminated film) on which a photocurable resin layer is laminated is provided for the purpose of preventing scratches on the display surface. There is something. This laminated film is configured by laminating a photocurable resin such as an ionizing radiation curable resin on a resin film such as triacetylcellulose or polyethylene terephthalate. In addition, some of these laminated films are provided with functions other than the prevention of scratches. For example, by adding a filler to a photocurable resin, irregularities are formed on the surface, and external light (light from a fluorescent lamp or Some of them have an antiglare property that suppresses reflection of sunlight. In addition, a low refractive index layer is laminated on a photocurable resin layer containing high refractive fine particles, and the surface reflected light reflected on the surface of the low refractive index layer is reflected at the interface between the photocurable resin layer and the low refractive index layer. There is also an antireflection film having an antireflection function that reduces the reflected light by reversing and canceling the phase of the reflected interface light.
This laminated film is generally formed by forming a photocurable resin coating film on a resin film and then irradiating the photocurable resin coating film with light such as ultraviolet rays by a light irradiation device. It is manufactured by curing. When curing this photocurable resin coating, if there is a high concentration of oxygen in the vicinity of the photocurable resin coating, light such as ultraviolet rays is consumed to activate the oxygen, and the light There is a problem that it cannot be efficiently used to cure the photocurable resin coating film.
In order to solve this problem, it has been proposed to reduce the oxygen concentration by supplying an inert gas in the vicinity of the photocurable resin coating film formed on the resin film (for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). reference). In the light irradiation apparatus described in Patent Documents 1 and 2, a housing that covers the light irradiation range of the photocurable resin coating film is provided. A light source for irradiating light to the photocurable resin coating film is disposed in the housing. In the housing, a light irradiation range in which light is irradiated from the light source on the side where the light source is disposed (hereinafter sometimes referred to as a light source chamber) and the photocurable resin coating is contained in the housing. There is provided a partition plate made of a light-transmitting material such as quartz glass, which is partitioned to the side where the light is present (hereinafter sometimes referred to as an irradiation chamber). In this light irradiation apparatus, the oxygen concentration in the vicinity of the photocurable resin coating film is reduced by discharging an inert gas into the irradiation chamber. Further, since the light source chamber is likely to become hot due to the heat generated by the light source and the light from the light source, the light source chamber is provided with an air entrance / exit.
However, in the light irradiation devices described in Patent Documents 1 and 2, the air in the light source chamber may flow into the irradiation chamber through a gap such as a seal material provided at the attachment portion of the partition plate. Since the air in the light source chamber contains oxygen, when this air flows into the irradiation chamber, the oxygen concentration in the irradiation chamber increases. In a situation where the air in the light source room flows into the irradiation chamber, it is necessary to continue to discharge a large amount of inert gas into the irradiation chamber in order to maintain a state in which the oxygen concentration in the irradiation chamber is reduced. However, there is a problem that the amount of the inert gas used increases, and the cost for curing the photocurable resin coating film increases.
本発明は上記事情に鑑み、安価に光硬化型樹脂塗膜を硬化させることができる、光照射装置、ハードコートフィルム製造装置、および積層フィルムの製造方法を提供することを目的とする。 An object of this invention is to provide the manufacturing method of the light irradiation apparatus , the hard-coat film manufacturing apparatus, and laminated film which can harden a photocurable resin coating film inexpensively in view of the said situation.
The light irradiation device of the present invention that solves the above object is a light irradiation device that irradiates light to a photocurable resin coating film formed on a resin film and cures the photocurable resin coating film,
A light source that irradiates light to the photocurable resin coating is disposed inside, and a housing that covers a light irradiation range of the photocurable resin coating that is irradiated with light from the light source,
A translucent one provided in the housing, the partition plate separating the light source and the light irradiation range;
A discharge means for discharging an inert gas to the light irradiation range side of the partition plate in the housing;
A discharge means for discharging the air closer to the light source than the partition plate in the housing to the outside of the housing;
The housing is one in which air is supplied from the outside of the housing to the light source side than the partition plate,
The discharge means discharges a larger amount of air than the amount of air supplied to the housing, and the pressure on the light source side relative to the partition plate in the housing is irradiated with the light from the partition plate. der which is reduced to less than the range side of the pressure is,
The housing covers the light irradiation range from the formation surface side of the resin film on which the photocurable resin coating film is formed.
From the back side of the resin film opposite to the forming surface, the back side member disposed to face the light irradiation range through the resin film,
The housing is in a box shape formed integrally with the back side member .
According to the light irradiation device of the present invention, the air pressure on the light source side with respect to the partition plate in the housing is set to be lower than the pressure on the light irradiation range side with respect to the partition plate. Moreover, it does not flow into the light irradiation range side, and it can be suppressed that the oxygen concentration on the light irradiation range side becomes high. Thereby, even if a large amount of inert gas is not discharged to the light irradiation range side, it can prevent that the oxygen concentration by the side of a light irradiation range becomes high, and can cure a photocurable resin coating film at low cost. Furthermore, it can suppress by the back side member that the inert gas discharged to the light irradiation range side rather than the partition plate diffuses from the back surface side of a resin film, and the density | concentration of an inert gas falls. Thereby, even if it does not discharge a lot of inert gas, it can prevent that the oxygen concentration by the side of a light irradiation range becomes high, and can cure a photocurable resin coating film at low cost.
なお、前記光硬化型樹脂塗膜は、電離放射線硬化型樹脂塗膜であってもよい。 The photocurable resin coating film may be an ionizing radiation curable resin coating film.
また、前記光源は、前記光硬化型樹脂膜を構成する光硬化型樹脂の種類に応じて適宜選択すればよく、例えば紫外線、可視光線、赤外線が照射される光源であってもよい。 The light source may be appropriately selected according to the type of the photocurable resin constituting the photocurable resin film. For example, the light source may be irradiated with ultraviolet rays, visible rays, or infrared rays.
さらに、樹脂フィルムは、光硬化型樹脂塗膜との間に、易接着層、帯電防止層、近赤外線吸収層、電磁波吸収層等の1又は複数の層が設けられたものであってもよい。 Furthermore, the resin film may be provided with one or more layers such as an easy-adhesion layer, an antistatic layer, a near-infrared absorbing layer, and an electromagnetic wave absorbing layer between the photocurable resin coating film. .
また、本発明の光照射装置において、前記光源は、搬送されてくる前記樹脂フィルムの上に形成された光硬化型樹脂塗膜に光を照射するものであり、
前記ハウジングよりも前記樹脂フィルムの搬送方向上流側で該ハウジングに隣接して設けられ、該樹脂フィルムの搬送に伴って該樹脂フィルムの搬送方向に向かって流れる同伴風の流れを乱す乱流手段を備えることが好ましい。
Moreover, in the light irradiation apparatus of the present invention, the light source irradiates light to a photocurable resin coating film formed on the resin film being conveyed,
Turbulence means provided adjacent to the housing on the upstream side in the transport direction of the resin film from the housing and disturbing the flow of the accompanying air flowing in the transport direction of the resin film as the resin film is transported It is preferable to provide.
乱流手段を設けているので、ハウジング内における、仕切板よりも光照射範囲側に、ハウジング外の空気が同伴風によって流入してしまうことを抑制できる。 Since the turbulent flow means is provided, the air outside the housing can be prevented from flowing into the light irradiation range side of the partition plate in the housing due to the accompanying air.
前記乱流手段は、前記樹脂フィルムの搬送方向に延在したものであってもよい。 The turbulent means may extend in the transport direction of the resin film.
また、前記乱流手段は、前記光硬化型樹脂塗膜に対向して配置され、前記樹脂フィルムの搬送方向に間隔をあけて該光硬化型樹脂塗膜に向かって突出した複数の突起を有するものであってもよい。 The turbulent flow means has a plurality of protrusions that are arranged to face the photocurable resin coating film and project toward the photocurable resin coating film at intervals in the transport direction of the resin film. It may be a thing.
また、本発明の光照射装置において、前記ハウジング内における、前記仕切板よりも前記光照射範囲側の酸素濃度および窒素濃度のうち少なくとも一方の濃度を検出する検出手段を設けることが好ましい。 Moreover, in the light irradiation apparatus of this invention, it is preferable to provide the detection means which detects at least one density | concentration in the said housing in the said light irradiation range side oxygen concentration and nitrogen concentration rather than the said partition plate.
酸素濃度および窒素濃度のうち少なくとも一方の濃度を検出することで、不活性ガスの供給が必要か否かを正確に判断することがでる。 By detecting at least one of the oxygen concentration and the nitrogen concentration, it is possible to accurately determine whether or not the supply of the inert gas is necessary.
また、本発明の光照射装置において、前記吐出手段は、前記樹脂フィルムの幅方向に複数設けられ、該樹脂フィルムの幅方向に対して不活性ガスを略均一に供給するものであることがより好ましい。 Further, in the light irradiation apparatus of the present invention, a plurality of the discharge means are provided in the width direction of the resin film, and the inert gas is supplied substantially uniformly in the width direction of the resin film. preferable.
こうすることで、樹脂フィルムの上に形成された光硬化側樹脂塗膜を、樹脂フィルムの幅方向で均一な硬度に硬化させることができる。 By carrying out like this, the photocuring side resin coating film formed on the resin film can be hardened to uniform hardness in the width direction of the resin film.
The hard coat film manufacturing apparatus of the present invention that solves the above-mentioned object is
The aforementioned light irradiation device;
A downstream light irradiation device having a light source that is disposed on the downstream side in the transport direction of the resin film relative to the light irradiation device and that irradiates light to a photocurable resin coating film formed on the resin film. It is characterized by that.
The manufacturing method of the laminated film of the present invention that solves the above-mentioned object is
A method for producing a laminated film in which at least a photocurable resin layer is laminated on the resin film,
The photocurable resin coating film formed on the resin film is irradiated with light using the above-described light irradiation device, and the photocurable resin coating film is cured.
本発明の積層フィルムの製造方法によれば、光硬化型樹脂層が積層された積層フィルムを安価に得ることができる。 According to the method for producing a laminated film of the present invention, a laminated film on which a photocurable resin layer is laminated can be obtained at low cost.
本発明の光照射装置によれば、安価に光硬化型樹脂塗膜を硬化させることができる。また、本発明のハードコートフィルム製造装置によれば、安価に光硬化型樹脂塗膜を硬化させることができる。さらに、その光照射装置を用いて、光硬化型樹脂層が積層された積層フィルムを安価に得ることができる。 According to the light irradiation apparatus of the present invention, the photocurable resin coating film can be cured at low cost. Moreover, according to the hard coat film manufacturing apparatus of this invention, a photocurable resin coating film can be hardened at low cost. Furthermore, the laminated | multilayer film by which the photocurable resin layer was laminated | stacked can be obtained cheaply using the light irradiation apparatus.
以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施の形態を説明する。本発明の一実施形態である光照射装置は、樹脂フィルムよりも硬いハードコート層を樹脂フィルムに積層させるハードコートフィルム製造装置に用いられる光照射装置である。 Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The light irradiation apparatus which is one Embodiment of this invention is a light irradiation apparatus used for the hard coat film manufacturing apparatus which laminates | stacks the hard-coat layer harder than a resin film on a resin film.
図1は、本発明の一実施形態である上流側光照射装置が配置されたハードコートフィルム製造装置の一部を示す模式図である。 FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing a part of a hard coat film manufacturing apparatus in which an upstream light irradiation apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is arranged.
The hard coat film manufacturing apparatus 1 whose part is shown in FIG. 1 manufactures a hard coat film while transporting a long resin film F at a substantially constant speed along a predetermined transport path in the longitudinal direction of the resin film F. To do. The hard coat film in the present embodiment corresponds to an example of a laminated film in the present invention. In the present embodiment, as the resin film F, a film made of triacetyl cellulose having a film thickness of 5 to 200 μm and a pencil strength of about H is used. Hereinafter, the upstream side of the transport path may be simply referred to as the upstream side, and the downstream side of the transport path may be simply referred to as the downstream side.
The hard coat film manufacturing apparatus 1 includes a drying device 2, an upstream
The drying device 2 is disposed between the coating device described above and the upstream
乾燥装置2と下流側光照射装置5の間には上流側光照射装置3が配置されている。本実施形態における上流側光照射装置3は、本発明における光照射装置の一例に相当する。上流側光照射装置3は、搬送されてくる樹脂フィルムFの上に形成された光硬化型樹脂塗膜に光を照射し、その光硬化型樹脂塗膜の表面部分を硬化させるものである。この上流側光照射装置3については後に詳述する。
An upstream
A downstream
The downstream
In the
Note that an inert gas discharge means for discharging an inert gas such as nitrogen gas may be provided in the
上流側光照射装置3は、上流側チャンバー31と、上流側紫外線ランプ32と、仕切板33と、不活性ガスを吐出する第一吐出手段34と、空気を供給する供給手段35と、空気を排出する排出手段36と、充填部材37と、乱流手段38と、第1検出手段39と、第2検出手段40と、第1ロール41と、第2ロール42とを備えている。本実施形態における上流側紫外線ランプ32は、本発明における光源の一例に相当する。
The upstream
上流側チャンバー31は、樹脂フィルムFの形成面側に配置されたハウジング311と、樹脂フィルムFの裏面側に配置された裏側壁312とが一体に形成された箱状のものである。また、上流側チャンバー31には、搬送されてくる樹脂フィルムFを上流側チャンバー31内に受け入れる受入口31aと、そのフィルムFが上流側チャンバー31の外部に排出されていく排出口31bとが形成されている。
The
In the

The first discharge means 34 includes a discharge nozzle that discharges an inert gas such as nitrogen gas into the
The discharge direction of the inert gas by the first discharge means 34 can be tilted downstream in the transport direction from the direction perpendicular to the surface of the resin film F. The tilt angle of the first discharge means 34 is preferably in a range greater than 0 degrees (vertical) and less than 10 degrees. More preferably, it is 1 degree or more and 5 degrees or less, More preferably, it is 2 degree or more and 3 degrees or less. By inclining the first discharge means 34, it becomes easy to fill with the inert gas, so that it becomes easier to efficiently replace the air that is the accompanying air with the inert gas.
It is preferable to provide the second discharge means 340 in the vicinity of the downstream side of the first discharge means 34. As a result, the oxygen concentration is easily reduced because the inert gas is filled. Note that one of the
In the present embodiment, a
The supply means 35 includes an

The turbulent flow means 38 is provided adjacent to the
第1検出手段39は、照射室3112内における、上流側端近傍の酸素濃度を検出する酸素濃度センサである。また、第2検出手段40は、照射室3112内における、下流側端近傍の酸素濃度を検出する酸素濃度センサである。なお、第1検出手段39および第2検出手段40の両方を設けることが、正確に酸素濃度を検出する意味では好ましいが、第1検出手段39と第2検出手段40のうちの一方を省略しても構わない。
The first detection means 39 is an oxygen concentration sensor that detects the oxygen concentration in the vicinity of the upstream end in the
図2(a)は、図1のA−A断面であり、図2(b)は、図1のB−B断面である。 2A is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. 1, and FIG. 2B is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2A, nine first detection means 39 are provided side by side in the width direction of the resin film F. The number of the first detection means 39 is not limited. The number of the first detection means 39 may be one. As the number of the first detection means 39 is increased, the detection sensitivity is improved and the discharge amount of the inert gas can be easily adjusted using the detection result as will be described later. The second discharge means 340 is disposed between the first detection means 39, respectively. As the number of the second discharge means 340 is increased, the inert gas can be supplied substantially uniformly in the width direction of the resin film F. The tip of the second discharge means 340 is branched into three. The inert gas is discharged toward the resin film F from the tip portion. The tip of the second discharge means 340 may not be branched, but the inert gas can be supplied substantially uniformly in the width direction of the resin film F by branching. In addition, the 1st discharge means 34 is each arrange | positioned between each 1st detection means 39 similarly to the 2nd discharge means 340, and the front-end | tip part has branched into three. The leading end portions of the first discharge means 34 and the second discharge means 340 may be branched in any number, but the inert gas is substantially reduced in the width direction of the resin film F by increasing the number of branches. It can be supplied uniformly. Further, as shown in FIG. 2B, nine second detection means 40 are provided side by side in the width direction of the resin film F, similarly to the first detection means 39. The number of second detection means 40 is not limited.
Based on the oxygen concentration detected by each first detection means 39 and each second detection means 40, the amount of inert gas discharged from the first discharge means 34 or the second discharge means 340 can be adjusted. The adjusting means for adjusting the inert gas discharge amount is not limited. As the adjusting means, for example, a method of simply adjusting the discharge amount of the inert gas based on the oxygen concentration can be used in addition to a method simply performed by opening and closing a valve. A method for automatic adjustment will be described more specifically. In the description here, a method of automatically adjusting the discharge amount of the inert gas discharged by the
The photocurable resin coating film may be cured and contracted in the width direction of the resin film F due to a reaction (crosslinking) at the time of curing. Further, heat is generated when the photocurable resin coating is cured, and the photocurable resin coating may be thermally contracted by the heat. Furthermore, the resin film F may also be thermally contracted in the width direction by heat generated when the photocurable resin coating is cured. If the shrinkage amount of the photocurable resin coating film or the shrinkage amount of the resin film F is large, wrinkles may occur in the resin film F. In the present embodiment, only the surface side portion of the photocurable resin coating film is cured by the upstream
次に、本実施形態の変形例について説明する。以下の説明では、これまで説明した構成要素の名称と同じ名称の構成要素には、これまで用いた符号と同じ符号を付して説明することがある。また、これまで説明したハードコートフィルム製造装置1や上流側光照射装置3の説明と重複する説明は省略することがある。
Next, a modification of this embodiment will be described. In the following description, components having the same names as those of the components described so far may be described with the same reference numerals as those used so far. Moreover, the description which overlaps with description of the hard coat film manufacturing apparatus 1 demonstrated so far and the upstream
図3は、上流側光照射装置の変形例を示す模式図である。 FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing a modification of the upstream light irradiation device.
The upstream side
Further, in this modification, instead of the supply means 35 in the previous embodiment, an

上記樹脂組成物は透光性の微粒子を含有してもよい。当該樹脂組成物に溶剤を加えた光硬化型樹脂を、樹脂フィルム上に塗布した後、当該光硬化型樹脂を硬化させてハードコート層を形成させることができる。樹脂組成物に透光性の微粒子を添加することにより、防眩性を有するハードコート層(防眩層)の表面凹凸の形状や数を調整しやすくなる。 The resin composition may contain translucent fine particles. After applying a photocurable resin obtained by adding a solvent to the resin composition on a resin film, the photocurable resin can be cured to form a hard coat layer. By adding translucent fine particles to the resin composition, it becomes easy to adjust the shape and number of surface irregularities of the hard coat layer (antiglare layer) having antiglare properties.
As the translucent fine particles, an organic translucent resin made of acrylic resin, polystyrene resin, styrene-acrylic copolymer, polyethylene resin, epoxy resin, silicone resin, polyvinylidene fluoride, polyfluoroethylene resin, etc. Fine inorganic particles such as fine particles, silica, alumina, titania, zirconia, calcium oxide, tin oxide, indium oxide, and antimony oxide can be used. The refractive index of the translucent fine particles is preferably 1.40 to 1.75. When the refractive index is less than 1.40 or more than 1.75, the difference in refractive index from the resin film or resin matrix becomes too large. , The total light transmittance decreases. Further, the difference in refractive index between the translucent fine particles and the resin is preferably 0.2 or less. The average particle diameter of the translucent fine particles is preferably in the range of 0.3 to 10 μm, more preferably 1 to 7 μm, and further preferably 2 to 6 μm.
When the particle size is smaller than 0.3 μm, the antiglare property is lowered. When the particle size is larger than 10 μm, it is not preferable because glare occurs and the surface unevenness becomes too large and the surface becomes whitish. In addition, the ratio of the light-transmitting fine particles contained in the resin is not particularly limited, but it is 0.1 to 20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the resin composition. It is preferable for satisfaction, and it is easy to control the fine uneven shape and haze value on the surface of the hard coat layer. Here, “refractive index” refers to a measured value according to JIS K-7142. Further, “average particle diameter” refers to an average value of the diameters of 100 particles actually measured with an electron microscope.
Solvents include alcohols such as methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, butanol, isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and isobutanol; ketones such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), cyclohexanone, and methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK). Ketone alcohols such as diacetone alcohol; aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene and xylene; glycols such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and hexylene glycol; ethyl cellsolve, butylcellsolve, ethylcarbitol and butyl Glycol ethers such as carbitol, diethyl cellosolve, diethyl carbitol, propylene glycol monomethyl ether; N-methylpyrrolidone, dimethylformamide, lactic acid Le, ethyl lactate, methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, esters such as amyl acetate; dimethyl ether, and diethyl ether, it is possible to use water or the like. These may be used alone or as a solvent, or a plurality of these may be used as a solvent.
As described above, according to the upstream side
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made within the scope described in the claims. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the photocurable resin coating film is cured by the upstream
