Description
前記筐体の内部には、前記第1筐体構成部材と第2筐体構成部材との接合部に対向する金属板が配備され、該金属板には、ネジ部材が前記第2筐体構成部材側の接合部を貫通して捻じ込まれる雌ネジ部が設けられており、前記第1筐体構成部材側の接合部と金属板との間には、これらを互いに係合させる係合機構が設けられ、該係合機構は、前記金属板に形成された係合部と、前記第1筐体構成部材側の接合部に形成されて前記係合部が係合する係合受け部とから構成されている。
図1に示す様に、本発明の一実施形態に係る画像表示装置は、横幅が縦幅より大きい液晶表示パネル(1)と、該液晶表示パネル(1)を収容する筐体(2)とを具え、該筐体(2)の前面壁(21)には、液晶表示パネル(1)の画像表示面(10)を外部から視認可能にする画像表示窓(20)が設けられている。
従って、従来の画像表示装置の如く枠部(32)に雌ネジ部を設けることが、上記画像表示装置では必要でない。よって、上記画像表示装置によれば、枠部(32)の幅寸法を小さくすることが可能である。
また、係合部(55)と係合受け部(33)からなる係合機構は、金属板(5)の第1平坦部(51)と第1筐体構成部材(3)の側面構成部(31)との間に設けられていてもよい。この構成の場合、金属板(5)は、L字状に屈曲せずに平板であってもよい。
Claims (1)
- 表示パネルと、
該表示パネルを収容する筺体と、
該筺体の前面壁を形成する第1部材と、
該筺体の背面壁を形成し、且つ第1部材と接合される第2部材と、
前記表示パネルの表示面に垂直な第1平坦部と、該第1平坦部に垂直な第2平坦部を有する金属板と、
前記金属板の第1平坦部に設けられ、第2部材を貫通するネジ部材が捻じ込まれる雌ネジ部と、
前記金属板の第2平坦部に設けられ、第1部材と係合される係合部と、
第1部材側に設けられ、前記係合部と係合する係合受け部と、
を具え、
前記係合部と前記係合受け部を係合し、前記雌ネジ部に前記ネジ部材を捻じ込むことにより、前記第1部材と前記第2部材は接合され、表示パネルは、この接合された第1部材と第2部材によって挟み込まれることで固定され、
前記金属板は、前記表示パネルの側面と対向する領域から更に第2部材側まで拡がっており、前記金属板には、前記表示パネルの側面が対向する領域より第2部材側の領域に、該金属板の一部がその背面側へ屈曲した弾性を有する屈曲部が形成され、該屈曲部が前記表示パネルの背部に引っ掛かっている画像表示装置。
