Description
結局、環境問題及び経済的にも非効率的であるという認識が拡散するにつれて、最近、溶媒抽出によってグループIの潤滑基油を製造する工場の数が急激に減っている実情である。
このため、触媒反応工程を介して重質潤滑基油製品を製造しようとする研究があったが、従来の方法では150BSなどの高粘度重質潤滑基油を得ることが難しいため、単一反応工程を介して低粘度から高粘度範囲までの重質潤滑基油を得るのに限界があった。よって、環境調和的でありながらも収率が高い高品質の重質潤滑基油を製造する必要性が提起されている。
よって、本発明の目的は、既存の触媒反応工程では得ることが難しかった高粘度の重質潤滑基油(150BS等級)を高収率で製造する方法を提供することにある。
本発明の潤滑基油を製造する方法は、図1及び図2に示すように、炭化水素供給原料を溶媒脱アスファルト装置に供給し、アスファルトが除去された脱アスファルト油を得る段階と、前記脱アスファルト油を減圧蒸留して軽質脱アスファルト油及び重質脱アスファルト油を得る段階とを含んでなる。
水素化処理反応を経た留分は不純物が顕著に減少し、芳香族含量も適切であるが、通常は後段工程触媒への影響を考慮して150ppm以下の硫黄含量(好ましくは100ppm以下)と50ppm以下の窒素含量(好ましくは10ppm以下)を持つ。
触媒脱蝋工程は、250〜410℃の反応温度、30〜200kg/cm2gの反応圧力、0.1〜3.0hr-1の空間速度(LHSV)、及び150〜1000Nm3/m3の供給原料に対する水素の体積比の条件下で行われる。
また、水素化仕上げ工程に用いられる触媒の担体としては、表面積の広いシリカ、アルミナ、シリカ−アルミナ、チタニア、ジルコニア又はゼオライトを用いることができ、好ましくはアルミナ又はシリカ−アルミナを用いる。担体は、前記金属の分散度を高めて水素化性能を向上させる役割を果たし、生成物のクラッキング(cracking)及びコーキング(coking)を防止するために酸点を制御することが非常に重要である。
この場合、前記重質脱アスファルト油(H−DAO)から重質潤滑基油を得る工程、及び前記軽質脱アスファルト油(Lt−DAO)からグループIII高級及び重質潤滑基油などを得る工程が統合可能である。このように2つの異なる反応工程が本発明の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を介して統合されると、常圧残渣油と減圧残渣油の比率や減圧蒸留工程の分離条件などを調節することにより、最終潤滑基油の等級及び生産比率を調節することができる。結局、本発明によって設計された工程は、市場の需要及び供給要求に応えることができ、生産設備を節減することができて経済的である。
表1に示されている重質脱アスファルト油(H−DAO)を原料として用いて、水素化処理工程ではHDS(水添脱硫)、HDN(水添脱窒)、HDM(水添脱金属)機能を有する商用触媒の下で、LHSV=0.5〜1.0hr-1、反応圧力150kg/cm2g、反応温度350〜360℃、及び水素とオイルの比1,000〜1,500NL/Lの条件で処理して硫黄を50ppm以下、窒素を5ppm以下に低めた。
表1に示されている脱アスファルト油(Full Range DAO)を原料として用いて、水素化処理反応工程ではHDS(水添脱硫)、HDN(水添脱窒)、HDM(水添脱金属)機能を有する商用触媒の下で、LHSV=0.5〜1.0hr-1、反応圧力150kg/cm2g、反応温度350〜360℃、及び水素とオイルの比1,000〜1,500NL/Lの条件で処理して硫黄を50ppm以下、窒素を5ppm以下に低めた。
下記表6に示されている性状を有する減圧ガス油(VGO)及び軽質脱アスファルト油(Lt−DAO)を6:4の重量比で混合した原料を製造した。
これらの中でも100N、150N、250N、500N分画のみを中間製品として回収し、残りの軽質分画及び最終残渣油は水素化反応工程(R3)にリサイクルさせた。結局、下記表7に示されている100N、150N、250N等級の高粘度指数グループIII潤滑基油製品及び500N等級の重質潤滑基油の原料を得ることができた。

Claims (10)
- (a)減圧残渣油、又は常圧残渣油と減圧残渣油との混合物を溶媒脱アスファルト装置に供給し、アスファルトが除去された脱アスファルト油を得る段階と、
(b)前記脱アスファルト油を減圧蒸留して軽質脱アスファルト油及び重質脱アスファルト油を得る段階と、
(c)前記(b)段階で得た重質脱アスファルト油を水素化触媒の存在下で水素化処理する段階と、
(d)前記(c)段階で水素化処理された留分を脱蝋触媒の存在下で触媒脱蝋する段階と、
(e)前記(d)段階で脱蝋された留分を水素化仕上げ触媒の存在下で水素化仕上げ処理する段階とを含んでなる、減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた重質潤滑基油の製造方法。 - 前記方法は、
(f)前記(e)段階で水素化仕上げ処理された留分を粘度範囲によって分離して重質潤滑基油をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた重質潤滑基油の製造方法。 - 前記(c)段階の水素化処理は300〜410℃の反応温度、30〜220kg/cm2gの反応圧力及び0.1〜3.0hr-1の空間速度(LHSV)の条件下で行われ、前記水素化触媒は周期律表の第6族及び第8族〜第10族元素から選ばれた一つ以上の金属を含む、請求項1に記載の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた重質潤滑基油の製造方法。
- 前記(d)段階の触媒脱蝋は250〜410℃の反応温度、30〜200kg/cm2gの反応圧力及び0.1〜3.0hr-1の空間速度(LHSV)の条件下で行われ、前記脱蝋触媒は分子篩、アルミナ、及びシリカ−アルミナの中から選ばれた一つ以上の担体、及び周期律表の第2族、第6族、第9族及び第10族元素から選ばれた一つ以上の金属を含む、請求項1に記載の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた重質潤滑基油の製造方法。
- 前記脱蝋触媒はSAPO−11、SAPO−41、ZSM−5、ZSM−11、ZSM−22、ZSM−23、ZSM−48、FAU、BETA及びMORから選ばれた一つ以上の担体、及びプラチナ、パラジウム及びニッケルから選ばれた一つ以上の金属を含む、請求項4に記載の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた重質潤滑基油の製造方法。
- 前記(e)段階の水素化仕上げ処理は150〜300℃の反応温度、30〜200kg/cm2gの反応圧力及び0.1〜3.0hr-1の空間速度(LHSV)の条件下で行われ、前記水素化仕上げ触媒はシリカ、アルミナ、シリカ−アルミナ、チタニア、ジルコニア、及びゼオライトから選ばれた一つ以上の担体、及び周期率表の第6族、第8族、第9族、第10族及び第11族元素から選ばれた一つ以上の金属を含む、請求項1に記載の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた重質潤滑基油の製造方法。
- 前記(f)段階によって得られた重質潤滑基油は40℃での動粘度が500〜600cStの重質潤滑基油を含む、 請求項2に記載の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた重質潤滑基油の製造方法。
- (a)減圧残渣油、又は常圧残渣油と減圧残渣油との混合物を溶媒脱アスファルト装置に供給し、アスファルトが除去された脱アスファルト油を得る段階と、
(b)前記脱アスファルト油を減圧蒸留して軽質脱アスファルト油及び重質脱アスファルト油を得る段階と、
(c)前記(b)段階で得た軽質脱アスファルト油を減圧ガス油と混合して混合物を製造した後、前記混合物を水素化反応及び分別蒸留処理してオイル製品及び未転換油に分離する段階と、
(d)前記(c)段階で得た未転換油を減圧蒸留工程に供給し、所定の粘度等級を有する潤滑基油を得る段階とを含んでなる、減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた潤滑基油の製造方法。 - 前記(a)段階の減圧残渣油及び前記(c)段階の減圧ガス油は前記(a)段階の常圧残渣油を減圧蒸留して得たものである、請求項8に記載の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた潤滑基油の製造方法。
- 前記(d)段階で得た所定の粘度等級を有する潤滑基油は100℃での動粘度が9.0〜11.0cStの潤滑基油を含む、請求項8又は9に記載の減圧蒸留された脱アスファルト油を用いた潤滑基油の製造方法。
