Description

Claims (6)
- 放射線治療装置の放射線源から軸に沿って射出されるビームの線量を検出測定する放射線ビーム分析器であって、
人体の密度に近い密度を有する材料で形成されたダイナミックボディファントムと、
前記ダイナミックボディファントムを収容するタンクと、
光子及び電子を感知するように構成されて配置されかつ前記ダイナミックボディファントム内に位置決めされている少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブと、
前記タンク及び前記ダイナミックボディファントムを支持するキャリッジと、
前記キャリッジが固定されているガイドウェイと、
前記キャリッジ、前記タンク及び前記ダイナミックボディファントムを前記ガイドウェイに対して、互いに直角なX軸、Y軸及びZ軸からなる座標系において増分的に(incrementally)移動させる前記放射線源から独立した第1の機構と、
前記タンクをZ軸周りに回転させる回転テーブルと、
前記少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブを前記ダイナミックボディファントム内で前記タンクに対して増分的に移動させる第2の機構と、
前記第1の機構及び前記第2の機構に接続されており、前記タンク及び前記少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブの両方を互いに対して相対的に同時に移動させて、前記放射線源と前記放射線源から前記少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブに向けて射出されるビームの前記軸との距離を一定に保つように前記第1の機構及び前記第2の機構を動作させるコントローラと、を含み、
一連の位置を通過する前記ダイナミックボディファントムの移動が行われて、放射線治療に必要とされる放射線の適切な量を判定するのに十分なデータが提供されることを特徴とする放射線ビーム分析器。 - 請求項1に記載の放射線ビーム分析器であって、前記線量測定プローブがイオンチャンバであることを特徴とする放射線ビーム分析器。
- 請求項1に記載の放射線ビーム分析器であって、前記ダイナミックボディファントムが、アクリル材から形成されたタンクを含んでいることを特徴とする放射線ビーム分析器。
- 請求項1に記載の放射線ビーム分析器であって、前記移動がアイソセントリックであることを特徴とする放射線ビーム分析器。
- 請求項1に記載の放射線ビーム分析器であって、前記放射線治療装置が、線形加速器であることを特徴とする放射線ビーム分析器。
- 放射線治療装置をキャリブレーションする方法であって、
軸に沿った放射線源を提供するステップと、
人体の密度に近い密度を有する材料で形成されたダイナミックボディファントムを提供するステップと、
前記ダイナミックボディファントムを収容するタンクを提供するステップと、
光子及び電子を感知するように構成されて配置される少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブを提供するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブを前記ダイナミックボディファントム内で位置決めするステップと、
キャリッジに前記ダイナミックボディファントム及び前記タンクを支持させるステップと、
前記キャリッジをガイドウェイに固定するステップと、
前記キャリッジ、前記タンク及び前記ダイナミックファントムボディを前記ガイドウェイに対して、互いに直角なX軸、Y軸及びZ軸からなる座標系において前記放射線源に対して独立的に増分的に移動させるステップと、
前記タンクを前記Z軸周りに回転させる回転テーブルを設けるステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブを前記ダイナミックファントムボディ内で前記タンクに対して増分的に移動させるステップと、
コントローラを用いて、前記タンク及び前記少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブの両方を同時に互いに対して相対的に移動させて、前記放射線源と前記放射線源から前記少なくとも1つの線量測定プローブに向けて出射されるビームの前記軸との間の距離を一定に維持するステップと、を含み、
一連の位置を通過する前記ダイナミックボディファントムの移動が行われて、放射線治療に必要とされる放射線の適切な量を判定するのに十分なデータが提供されることを特徴とする方法。
