Description
The present invention
The present invention relates to a stay erection structure in which a stay is erected between a first part and a second part.
An example of the first part is an automobile dash panel, and an example of the second part is an automobile steering support member.
In recent years, automobiles have been required to have comfortable performances such as a large cabin space, a large storage capacity, and quietness in the cabin. And to improve the comfort performance, the problem of engine vibration and the vibration that the body receives from the road surface is transmitted through the vehicle body, that is, vibration such as steering vibration and body vibration that makes the passenger feel uncomfortable during steering operation. There is a need to improve the problem.
In order to improve this vibration problem, as disclosed in
Therefore, in order to satisfy the support strength of the steering support member by the dash panel, the stay is formed in a U-shaped cross section (a part is a cross-sectional hat shape) to improve the rigidity of the stay.
However, just by forming the stay in a U-shaped cross section (partly a hat shape) as in the conventional structure described above, the rigidity of the stay cannot be increased sufficiently, and the stay can be made thicker or larger. It was necessary to increase the rigidity of the stay. For this reason, the weight of the stay has increased, and the space occupied by the stay has increased.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to reduce the weight and space, and to support a second part (for example, a steering support member) by a first part (for example, a dash panel). This is to provide a stay erection structure that satisfies the strength.
The feature of the present invention is that
A stay erection structure in which a stay is erected between the first part and the second part,
Beads that bulge to one side of the stay are provided along the longitudinal direction of the stay on both sides of the stay,
Of the both side walls of the bead, the inner side wall on the inner side in the stay width direction has a height dimension that increases toward the one end portion side of the stay on the first component side, and the outer side wall on the outer side in the stay width direction has the second side wall. The other end of the stay on the component side is formed such that the height dimension is larger, and the base end of the inner side wall and the base end of the outer side wall intersect each other in a side view of the stay. It is in. (Claim 1)
Since the inner side wall of the bead is set to have a height dimension larger than that of the other inner side wall portion on the first component side, the mounting strength of the stay on the first component side can be secured. Sufficient bead height can be secured.
In addition, since the outer side wall of the bead is set to have a height dimension larger than that of the other outer side wall portion on the second component side, the second component that can secure the strength of attaching the stay to the second component. A sufficient bead height on the side can be ensured.
As in the prior art, the height of the inner side wall of the bead is set to a constant length over the entire length of the stay (the same length as the height of the end of the inner side wall on the first part side), and the outer side wall In the structure of the comparative example in which the height dimension of the bead is set to a constant length over the entire length of the stay (the same length as the height dimension of the end portion on the second part side of the outer side wall) Layout space for the height dimension was required.
On the other hand, according to the above-described configuration of the present invention, of the both side walls of the bead, the inner side wall on the inner side in the stay width direction has a height dimension that increases toward the one end portion side of the stay, and the outer side in the stay width direction. The outer side wall of the stay is formed such that the height dimension increases toward the other end portion side of the stay, and the base end portion of the inner side wall and the base end portion of the outer side wall intersect each other in a side view of the stay. Therefore, a space can be formed on the inner side in the height direction of the bead from the base end portion of the inner side wall of the structure of the comparative example and the base end portion of the outer side wall of the structure of the comparative example.
Even if this space is small, it can be fully utilized as a space for passing parts such as a harness and becomes a meaningful space. Furthermore, the area of the inner side wall and the outer side wall can be reduced as compared with the structure of the comparative example. Therefore, according to the above configuration of the present invention, it is possible to reduce the weight and space of the stay construction structure.
Thereby, the vibration of the stay erection structure can be improved in a state where the weight and the space are reduced as described above. (Claim 1)
In the present invention,
When one end of the stay between the two beads is bent on one side of the stay with respect to the remaining portion of the stay between the two beads, a side wall that supports the U-shape of the bent portion is attached. Therefore, the rigidity of the stay can be increased. (Claim 2)
In the present invention,
If the connecting bead that connects the ends of both beads on the first part side bulges from one end of the stay to the one surface side of the stay, the beads can be prevented from falling and the rigidity of the stay can be further increased. can do. (Claim 3)
In the present invention,
The first part is a dash panel of an automobile;
The second part is a steering support member of an automobile;
When the weak part is provided in the vehicle rear side portion of the stay, the following effects can be obtained. (Claim 4)
When the automobile collides, the dash panel on the front side of the vehicle moves backward toward the passenger due to the collision load from the front of the vehicle. According to the above configuration of the present invention, since the weak portion is provided in the vehicle rear side portion of the stay, the stay bends from the weak portion when the automobile collides, and the collision load is transmitted to the steering support member. It is possible to suppress the backward movement of the steering support member (and the steering) toward the occupant during a collision.
More specifically, when attaching one end portion (front end portion) of the stay to the dash panel, for example, an attachment tool is inserted into the work hole of the instrument panel from above or below the steering support member.
The mounting surface on the dash panel side to which one end of the stay is attached faces the rear upper side or rear lower side of the vehicle. When a collision load is applied from the front of the vehicle, the stay has a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface on the dash panel side. A force (for example, a force toward the upper rear of the vehicle) is applied to the vehicle.
Then, the force is supported by the mounting portion of the stay and the steering support member. The stay breaks because there is a fragile part in the vicinity of this attachment part (the part on the vehicle rear side of the stay).
As a result, the dash panel retreats toward the passenger due to the force, but the instrument panel and the steering support member are not affected by the force.
Therefore, it is possible to improve both the comfort performance of the passenger compartment having the conflicting elements and the safety performance of the passenger. (Claim 4)
In the present invention,
When the notch formed on the vehicle rear side portion of the outer side wall of the bead is opened at the lower portion, the weakened portion does not increase the number of processing steps compared to the case where the notch opened at the upper side is formed. The weak part can be easily formed. (Claim 5)
In the present invention,
The fastening fixing part provided between the beads at one end of the stay is fastened and fixed to the fixed part on the dash panel side by a fastening member,
When the joint provided on the outer side in the width direction of the stay with respect to both beads at the other end of the stay is welded to the joined portion on the steering support member side, the following effects can be obtained. (Claim 6)
With the above configuration, the fastening fixing part provided between the beads at one end (front end) of the stay is fastened and fixed to the fixed part on the dash panel side by the fastening member, and the other end (rear end) of the stay The joint portion provided on the outer side in the stay width direction than both the beads is welded and joined to the joined portion on the steering support member side.
In addition, the tightening fixing portion is located between both beads whose rigidity of one end of the stay is increased,
Since the stay can be prevented from being deformed during the tightening operation, the tightening fixing portion at the one end can be stably tightened and fixed to the fixed portion on the dash panel side.
For example, when the operator drops the fastening member while fastening the fastening portion to the fixed portion on the dash panel side with the fastening member, the fastening member can be received by the stay portion between both beads. The tightening member is accommodated in the vicinity of the connection portion between the tightening fixing portion and the stay portion (the remaining portion of the stay) connected to the tightening fixing portion by rolling to the vicinity of the tightening fixing portion at one end of the stay. Thereby, it is easy for an operator to find a fastening member, and work efficiency can be improved. (Claim 6)
In the present invention,
If the fixed portion is provided on an operation pedal support bracket supported by the dash panel, the following operation can be achieved. (Claim 7)
(請求項7) Generally, the operation pedal support bracket supported by the dash panel is located on the vehicle rear side of the dash panel. Since the fixed portion is provided in such an operation pedal support bracket, the length of the stay can be shortened compared to the structure in which the fixed portion is provided in the dash panel, and the rigidity of the stay can be reduced. Can be strengthened, and the support strength of the steering support member can be further strengthened. (Claim 7)
According to the present invention,
It has been possible to reduce the weight and save space, and to provide a stay construction structure that satisfies the support strength of the second part (for example, the steering support member) by the first part (for example, the dash panel).
Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, a pair of left and
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a

As shown in FIG. 6, the

As shown in FIGS. 3, 5, and 7, the
The fixed

As shown in FIG. 6, the base end portion 23K2 of the outer side wall 23S2 is bent in an arc shape outward in the stay width direction. Thereby, the rigidity of outer side wall 23S2 can be strengthened.
Further, a
Further, a joining
The joining
Then, the joining
The welded joint between the
As shown in FIG. 7, in the assembled state of the

On the other hand, according to the above configuration of the present invention, the inner side wall 23S1 of the
Even if this space S is small, it can be sufficiently utilized as a space for passing parts such as the harness H and becomes a meaningful space. Furthermore, the area of the inner side wall 23S1 and the outer side wall 23S2 can be reduced as compared with the structure of the comparative example. Therefore, according to the above configuration of the present invention, the construction structure of the
Thereby, the vibration of the stay erection structure can be improved in a state where the weight and the space are reduced as described above.
(2) The

(4) As shown in FIG. 2, a closed cross section is formed by the

(6) Since the fixed

Therefore, it is possible to improve both the comfort performance of the passenger compartment having the conflicting elements and the safety performance of the passenger.
(8) The
