Description
は、技術の進歩が経済性及び非常に明るい半導体光源をもたらすにつれてますます一般的なものとなってきている。
前記コリメータのベースの設計は使用される半導体光源のタイプに依存する。例えば、エッジ発光チップが使用される場合、全ての側を高度に反射性の表面で囲むことが好ましい。かかる実施態様では、前記ベース又はコリメータの基板の高さは、できるだけ多くの光がコリメータから出るように方向付けられるように好ましくは少なくとも前記半導体と同じ程度の高さである。しかし半導体光源技術の進歩により、非常に効率的な表面発光LEDチップ、例えばセラミック表面発光ダイオードなどの開発がなされている。かかるチップはその側面からは発光せず、しかもその深さが100μmの程度であることから、前記チップを囲むコリメータのベースも好ましく薄くできる。これはまた、射出成形プロセスにも利点であり、均一な厚さを持つ対象物にとって最良の結果を与える。従って本発明の特に好ましい実施態様では、前記照明アセンブリは表面発光半導体光源を含む。好ましくは、コリメータ側壁及びベースの厚さは、0.1mmと3mmとの間、好ましくは0.5mmと1mmとの間である。
Claims (15)
- コリメータであり、前記コリメータはベース及び光源を囲むように設けられる複数の側壁を含み、
前記コリメータの少なくとも1つの側壁が前記ベースとインテグラルヒンジにより接続され、動きのある範囲内に傾けられ得るようにされ、前記少なくとも一つの側壁、前記インテグラルヒンジ及びベースは1個体として作られており、
前記コリメータの前記ベースと前記少なくとも一つの側壁が、前記光源により発光された光が、前記コリメータに光入口開口部から入り、前記少なくとも一つの側壁の前記動きの範囲にわたり全ての位置で光出口開口部から出るようにされている、コリメータ。 - 請求項1に記載のコリメータであり、前記少なくとも一つの側壁のインテグラルヒンジが、前記少なくとも一つの側壁と前記コリメータの前記ベースの間の材料の厚さが低減された領域を含む、コリメータ。
- 請求項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータであり、前記コリメータの光入口開口部の領域が、120mm2 未満である、コリメータ。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータであり、本質的に長方形の断面を持つ、コリメータ。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータであり、前記コリメータの少なくとも一つの側壁が、前記光入口開口部から前記光出口開口部へ伸びるエプロンを含み、かつ前記エプロンが前記少なくとも一つの側壁の動きの範囲にわたり遮光方法で隣接するコリメータ側壁を覆うようにされている、コリメータ。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータであり、前記コリメータの少なくとも一つの側壁が、一対の対抗する側壁と遮光的に接続され、対抗する側壁が前記少なくとも一つの側壁の動きの範囲を収容するいくつかのプリーツを含む、コリメータ。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータであり、前記コリメータが、一対の対抗する側壁の間に設けられ、対抗する側壁が、前記少なくとも一つの側壁の動きの範囲を収容するために前記少なくとも一つの側壁を超えて本質的に垂直に伸びる、コリメータ。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータであり、前記コリメータの少なくとも内部表面が、少なくとも反射性である、コリメータ。
- 請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータであり、前記コリメータの少なくとも一つの側壁の回転軸が、前記光入口開口部の端部に本質的に平行である、コリメータ。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータであり、射出成形方法で製造される、コリメータ。
- 請求項10に記載のコリメータであり、前記コリメータの材料が、熱可塑性プラスチックである、コリメータ。
- 請求項11に記載のコリメータであり、前記コリメータの材料が、融点が少なくとも160℃である材料を含む、コリメータ。
- コリメータの製造方法であり、
前記コリメータはベース及び光源を囲むように設けられる複数の側壁を含み、
前記コリメータの少なくとも1つの側壁が前記ベースとインテグラルヒンジにより接続され、動きのある範囲内に傾けられ得るようにされ、前記少なくとも一つの側壁、前記インテグラルヒンジ及びベースは1個体として作られており、
前記コリメータの前記ベースと前記少なくとも一つの側壁が、前記光源により発光された光が、前記コリメータに光入口開口部から入り、前記少なくとも一つの側壁の前記動きの範囲にわたり全ての位置で光出口開口部から出るようにされており、
前記方法が、射出成形プロセスで前記コリメータの部品を製造することを含む、製造方法。 - 照明アセンブリであり、前記照明アセンブリが、
基板上に設けられる半導体光源;
前記半導体光源を囲むようにされる請求項1乃至12のいずれか1項に記載のコリメータ;及び
前記コリメータの少なくとも一つの側壁を、前記コリメータの前記光出口開口部を調節するためにその動きの範囲の少なくとも一部にわたり動かすための駆動装置を含む、照明アセンブリ。 - 請求項14に記載の照明アセンブリ及び第2の光学系を含む自動車用ヘッドランプ構成。
