Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus for attenuating torsional vibration of a rotating body such as a crankshaft and a power transmission shaft, and in particular, a mass body that reciprocates due to torsional vibration is attached to the rotating body, and the mass body rotates by reciprocating motion of the mass body. The present invention relates to an apparatus configured to damp body torsional vibrations.
Rotating bodies such as a drive shaft for transmitting torque generated by a driving force source are caused by fluctuations in the input torque itself and fluctuations in load torque caused by driving devices connected to the rotating body. And vibration may occur. Such torque fluctuations act as torsional vibrations on the rotating body. Devices for attenuating such torsional vibrations of a rotating body have been developed, and examples thereof are described in Patent Document 1 and
In the centrifugal pendulum type dynamic vibration absorber described in Patent Document 1, a rolling surface is formed on the inner wall surface of a rolling chamber formed on the outer peripheral side of the rotating body, and the rolling element is twisted on the rolling surface by torsional vibration. Is configured to dampen the torsional vibration by reciprocating. A protrusion is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rolling element, and a groove that fits into the protrusion is formed on the rolling surface. In addition, when the rolling element rotates together with the rotating body and centrifugal force acts on the rolling element and no force in the circumferential direction of the rotating body acts, the rolling element moves to the rotation center of the rotating body on the rolling surface. It is moved to the most distant position. In the following description, this position may be referred to as a neutral position. In the centrifugal pendulum type dynamic vibration absorber having such a configuration, when the inertial force in the circumferential direction is generated in the rolling element by the torsional vibration of the rotating body and the reciprocating motion is performed on the rolling surface, the protrusion is fitted in the groove. Thereby, the movement of the rolling element in the rotation axis direction of the rotating body is suppressed. Therefore, it is said that the frictional force generated between the rolling elements and the rolling chambers can be reduced, and the vibration damping performance can be improved.
Note that
In the centrifugal pendulum type dynamic vibration absorber described in Patent Document 1, the action direction of the centrifugal force of the rolling element and the normal direction at the contact point between the rolling element and the rolling surface are parallel at the neutral position. Yes. However, when the rolling element rolls on the rolling surface due to torsional vibrations, the contact location deviates from the neutral position, so that their directions are shifted from each other and an angle is generated. The angle increases in accordance with an increase in the rolling angle of the rolling element from the neutral position, that is, the moving distance of the rolling element. When the rolling angle of the rolling element is increased in this way, the load in the normal direction at the contact point is reduced and the frictional force is reduced. As a result, the rolling element slips without rolling against the rolling surface. As a result, the desired vibration damping performance may not be obtained.
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above technical problem, and is a twist configured to roll a mass body along a rolling surface formed on a rotating body without causing slippage. An object of the present invention is to provide a vibration damping device.
In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 is characterized in that a rolling surface having a center of curvature is formed in the rotating body at a location deviating from the rotation center of the rotating body that receives torque and rotates. And a torsional vibration damping device comprising a rolling element that is brought into contact with the rolling surface by a centrifugal force caused by rotation together with the rolling surface and that rolls along the rolling surface by torsional vibration of the rotating body. A groove portion to be fitted is formed along the outer peripheral surface of the rolling element, and the width of the rolling surface to be fitted to the groove portion is increased in accordance with an increase in the rolling angle of the rolling element, characterized in that it is configured such that the distance from the contact portion between the rolling surface and the rolling element to the center of gravity of the rolling element is continuously changed in accordance with an increase of the angle of rolling of the prior Kiten body It is what.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the invention, the radius of curvature of the rolling surface at the contact location is increased in accordance with an increase in the rolling angle of the rolling element. The vibration damping device is characterized by the following.
According to the present invention, for example, in addition to continuously increasing the distance from the contact point to the center of gravity of the rolling element according to an increase in the rolling angle of the rolling element, the radius of curvature of the rolling surface at the contact point can be increased. When configured to increase, the locus of the center of gravity of the rolling surface is the same as when the radius of curvature of the rolling surface is not changed in this way. More specifically, when the existing rolling surface in the torsional vibration damping device to which the present invention is applied is, for example, a cycloid surface in which the instantaneous center of the rolling surface is continuously changed, the contact between the cycloid surface and the rolling element The radius of curvature of the rolling surface at the location decreases as the rolling angle of the rolling element increases. When the present invention is applied to a torsional vibration damping device having such a cycloid surface, the radius of curvature at the contact location increases with an increase in the rolling angle of the rolling element, so that the rolling element at the contact location It is possible to reduce the angle caused by the deviation of the direction of the centrifugal force and the normal direction at the contact location and the deviation of these directions. That is, since the reduction of the surface pressure at the contact location can be suppressed, the reduction of the frictional force at the contact location can be suppressed. In addition, since the distance from the contact location to the center of gravity of the rolling element increases, the locus of the center of gravity of the rolling element is substantially suppressed from changing and becomes a shape along the cycloid surface. Thus, according to this invention, it is possible to suppress a change in the order of the reciprocating motion of the rolling element by suppressing a change in the center of gravity position of the rolling element, and to roll the rolling element without slipping. Therefore, the desired vibration damping performance can be obtained. On the other hand, for example, even if the distance from the contact point to the center of gravity of the rolling element is increased in accordance with an increase in the rolling angle of the rolling element, if the radius of curvature of the rolling surface at the contact point is not increased, The locus of the center of gravity of the moving surface deviates from the locus along the existing rolling surface. More specifically, when the existing rolling surface in the torsional vibration damping device to which the present invention is applied is, for example, an arc surface having a constant curvature, the rolling member is moved from the contact point according to an increase in the rolling angle of the rolling member. By increasing the distance to the center of gravity, the locus of the center of gravity of the rolling element can be made to be a cycloid curve or a curve approximated thereto. Thus, according to the present invention, the locus of the center of gravity of the rolling element can be changed by effectively utilizing the existing configuration. In particular, when the trajectory of the center of gravity of the rolling element has a cycloid curve shape, the torsional vibration of the order equal to the order of the reciprocating motion of the rolling element can be attenuated regardless of the magnitude of the rolling element's rolling angle. It becomes possible.
Next, the present invention will be described more specifically. FIG. 1 is a diagram partially showing an example of torsional vibration damping 1 according to the present invention, and shows a state viewed from a direction parallel to the rotational axis of the
In the example shown in FIG. 1, the
The rolling
FIG. 2 is a partial sectional view of the torsional vibration damping device 1 shown in FIG. A
FIG. 3 shows a top view of an example of the shape of the rolling
Next, the operation of the torsional vibration damping device 1 configured as described above will be described. As the
n=(r/l)1/2 ・・・(1)
n={r/(R1−R2)}1/2 ・・・(2)
When torsional vibration acts on the
n = (r / l) 1/2 (1)
Since the arm length l of the reciprocating motion of the rolling
n = {r / (R 1 −R 2 )} 1/2 (2)
By adjusting the reciprocating motion order n to the rotational fluctuation order (torsional vibration order) of the
FIG. 4 schematically shows a case where the rolling
