Description
自動車のエミッションを規制する、健康や環境を保護するための法的規制の厳格化は、エンジンの開発のための排ガス後処理技術に対するある種の挑戦である。特に重要となるのは、とりわけ癌を誘発するパティキュレートエミッション、ひいては特に自己着火式の内燃機関のエミッションの低減である。したがって排ガス中に含まれる煤粒子を除去するために、排ガス後処理のための多くの方法および装置が開発されている。粒子の形で存在する有害物質を引き留めるためにパティキュレートフィルタシステムの使用が公知である。
本発明によれば、燃焼空気供給部を備える、内燃機関の排ガス処理システムにおいてパティキュレートフィルタを再生するためのバーナ用の燃料調整装置が提案されており、燃焼空気供給部は、燃料の調整のための一次空気供給管路と、点火性の燃料・空気混合気を形成するために燃焼空気を供給するための二次空気供給管路とを備える。
本発明によれば、一次空気供給管路を介して、一次空気質量流量が噴霧装置に供給され、噴霧装置は、噴射された燃料を細かく噴霧する。ノズルの直ぐ下流側で、微細な燃料ミストと燃焼空気との集中的な混合により、エアゾールが得られ、このエアゾールは、点火性である。所要空気量が増加すると、二次空気供給管路を介して、二次空気質量流量が圧送される。追加的な空気供給管路は、適切な燃料噴射特性もしくは空燃比の調節を実現し、噴射方向に影響を及ぼし、正しいサイズの燃料液滴サイズを形成することができる。さらに背圧を低く維持し、ひいては例えば空気ポンプの機械的かつ電気的な所要出力を極めて低く維持することができる。
Claims (6)
- 内燃機関の高温の排ガス流を導出するための排ガス通路(14)を備える、排ガス後処理システムのパティキュレートフィルタ(16)を再生するためのバーナ(18)用の燃料調整装置(100)であって、
前記燃料調整装置(100)は、燃料を調整する噴霧装置(110)と燃焼器(116)と燃焼空気供給部(24)と点火装置(26)とを備える、燃料調整装置(100)において、
前記燃焼空気供給部(24)は、燃料を調整するための一次空気供給管路(112)と、着火性の燃料空気混合気を形成するために燃焼空気を供給するための二次空気供給管路(114)とを備え、
前記一次空気供給管路(112)および前記二次空気供給管路(114)の少なくともいずれか一方に、圧力調整弁(118)が配置されており、
前記圧力調整弁(118)の開放時に、前記一次空気供給管路(112)と前記二次空気供給管路(114)とを介して燃焼空気供給(24)が行われ、
前記一次空気供給管路(112)および前記二次空気供給管路(114)は、前記噴霧装置(110)に開口していることを特徴とする、燃料調整装置。 - 前記圧力調整弁(118)は、機械式の圧力調整弁である、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記圧力調整弁(118)は、制御弁である、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記一次空気供給管路(112)および前記二次空気供給管路(114)の少なくともいずれか一方に燃料が噴射され、形成された燃料・空気混合気が前記噴霧装置(110)に供給される、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 燃焼空気供給部(24)は、調量弁を備え、燃料は、燃料調量弁(122)により調量されて供給され、その際、1つの弁ブロックに複数の弁(118,122,124)がまとめられている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 前記内燃機関は、自己着火式の内燃機関である、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の装置。
