Claims (7)
- 映像を表示する多数の画素で構成される画素領域と、前記画素領域に隣接して形成されて、接触された物体の位置を検知する多数のフォトセンサで構成されるセンサ領域とを含む第1基板と、
前記第1基板の上部に配置され、前記第1基板に向かう第1面の、前記第1基板の前記画素領域と対応する領域にカラーフィルタが形成され、前記第1面の、前記第1基板の前記センサ領域と対応する領域に、外光が入射される受光部が形成され、前記第1面と対向する第2面上に、透明電極層及び前面偏光板が順次積層された第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に介される液晶層を含む液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルに物体が接触する時、前記透明電極層と連結された第1センシングラインを介してキャパシタンスの変化量をセンシングし、前記キャパシタンスの変化量が予め設定された閾値以上であれば、前記フォトセンサと連結された第2センシングラインを介してセンシングされた光情報を用いて把握された前記物体の位置情報の検出を開始し、検出した該位置情報を出力するタッチスクリーン駆動回路と、
を含むことを特徴とする、タッチスクリーン内蔵型液晶表示装置。 - 前記タッチスクリーン駆動回路は、
前記第1センシングラインを介して供給された前記キャパシタンスの変化量を用いてタッチイベントの発生を判断し、前記タッチイベントの発生時に前記第2センシングラインからの光情報を出力する制御部と、
前記制御部からの光情報を用いて前記物体の位置情報を把握して出力する位置検出部と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のタッチスクリーン内蔵型液晶表示装置。 - 前記タッチスクリーン駆動回路は、
前記第1センシングラインを介して供給された前記キャパシタンスの変化量を用いてタッチイベントの発生を判断し、これに対応して制御信号を出力する制御部と、
前記制御部からの制御信号により駆動されて、前記第2センシングラインを介してセンシングされた光情報を用いて前記物体の位置情報を把握して出力する位置検出部と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のタッチスクリーン内蔵型液晶表示装置。 - 前記タッチスクリーン駆動回路は、
前記第1センシングラインを介して供給された前記キャパシタンスの変化量を用いてタッチイベントの発生を判断し、これに対応して制御信号を出力する制御部と、
前記第2センシングラインを介してセンシングされた光情報を用いて前記物体の位置情報を把握して出力する位置検出部と、
前記制御信号に対応して前記位置検出部からの前記物体の位置情報の出力をスイッチングするスイッチ部と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のタッチスクリーン内蔵型液晶表示装置。 - 前記液晶表示パネルの第1基板の下部に位置して前記液晶表示パネルに光を供給するバックライトアセンブリを更に含み、
前記センサ領域に該当する前記第1基板の一面に、前記バックライトアセンブリからの光が前記フォトセンサに直接入射されるのを防止するための遮光膜が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のタッチスクリーン内蔵型液晶表示装置。 - 前記多数の画素は、
R、G、B色に対応する画素で構成される画素ユニット単位で配列されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のタッチスクリーン内蔵型液晶表示装置。 - 前記フォトセンサは、
前記画素ユニットに対して1:1の割合以下の個数で形成されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のタッチスクリーン内蔵型液晶表示装置。
