Abstract
Description
光ファイバ被覆部Mは、図1に示すように、石英ガラスの如き透明材料からなる上下一対の成形部材より構成されるガラス型開閉部M1から構成される。
上記ガラス型開閉部M1は、図1及び図4に示すように、一対のガラス部材G1, G2、一対の設置台D1, D2、ヒンジH1、調整台BD、一対の第1側方押圧部材ST11,ST12及び一対の第2側方押圧部材ST21,ST22を備える。
スプールSpは、液体状の樹脂、つまり硬化前の樹脂が流れるために高さ方向に貫かれた流路であり、上記台形形状の短辺側、つまり、ガラス部材G2のガラス部材G1に突き合わされる面の中央部に形成されるゲートGtに一端が接続される。また、スプールSpは、ゲートGtに接続される一端とは反対側の他端が、ポンプ等から構成される樹脂供給部(図示略)に接続され、該樹脂供給部から供給される樹脂がゲートGtに向けて流れる。
また、本実施形態によれば、ガラス部材G1, G2の小型化によって、ガラス部材G1, G2の剛性が向上する。
また、本実施形態によれば、上述したように、ガラス部材G1, G2にネジ穴を設ける必要がなく、そのためのガラス部材G1, G2に対する研削加工が必要ないため、ガラス部材G1, G2の破損が減少して、信頼性を向上する。
また、本実施形態によれば、ネジによるガラス部材G1, G2への局所的な直接押下が無くなり、ガラス部材G1, G2の局所的な歪みが無くなる。
また、本実施形態によれば、ガラス部材G1, G2が、調整台BDの設置面BD1及び設置台D2の設置面D21に強く固定されているため、ガラス型開閉部M1の開閉動作時の衝撃によるガラス部材G1, G2の位置ズレを抑制することできる。
(1)上記実施形態において、一対のガラス部材G1, G2両方は、上述した断面が台形形状であると共に、斜面Sh11, Sh12, Sh21, Sh22が押圧されることによって調整台BDの設置面BD1や設置台D2の設置面D21に固定されているが、一対のガラス部材G1, G2の少なくとも一方が、上述した断面が台形形状であると共に、斜面が押圧されることによって設置面に固定されていればよい。
Claims (4)
- 光ファイバの被覆を除去された部分に樹脂を硬化して被覆する光ファイバ被覆部を具備する光ファイバ再被覆装置であって、
前記光ファイバ被覆部は、溝が形成された一対のガラス部材と共に前記一対のガラス部材各々が設置される2つの基台を有し、
前記一対のガラス部材の溝が合わさって、光ファイバを被覆するための空洞が形成され、
前記一対のガラス部材の少なくとも一方は、前記基台の設置面に対して鉛直方向に沿う断面が台形形状であると共に、前記台形形状の短辺側に前記溝が設けられ、
前記台形形状の斜辺を含む前記ガラス部材の斜面が押圧されることで、該ガラス部材は前記基台に固定され、
前記光ファイバ被覆部は、前記ガラス部材の前記斜面に面接触する斜面を有する側方押圧部材をさらに有し、
前記側方押圧部材は、前記ガラス部材の2つの前記斜面の少なくとも一方に対応して前記基台に設置されると共に、前記ガラス部材に向けて押圧されることを特徴とする光ファイバ再被覆装置。 - 前記一対のガラス部材各々は、前記基台の前記設置面に対して鉛直方向に沿う断面が台形形状であり、前記台形形状の斜辺を含む前記ガラス部材の斜面が押圧されることで、前記基台に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光ファイバ再被覆装置。
- 前記側方押圧部材は、前記ガラス部材の2つの前記斜面の少なくとも一方に対応して前記基台の前記設置面の上に設置されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光ファイバ再被覆装置。
- 前記側方押圧部材は、前記ガラス部材の前記斜面に対する鉛直方向かつ前記ガラス部材に向けて押圧されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光ファイバ再被覆装置。
