Description
ロイド・インスツルメント(Lloyd Instruments)のLRX装置+材料試験システム(LRX+Material Testing Systems)により圧潰強さを測定した。ピンセットを使って、サンプル粒子を圧潰試験機のプレステーブルの中央にセットした。粒子の平坦面が、圧力が加えられる面となるように粒子をセットした。粒子に力を加え、一定の割合で増大させた。粒子が破壊された瞬間に加えられている力を測定し、粒子の圧潰強さとした。圧潰強さは、ニュートン(N)で求めた。
サンドビック・プロセス・システムズ(Sandvik Process Systems)のロトフォーム(Rotoform)装置で、尿素溶融体をペレット化した。ロトフォーム(Rotoform)装置のベルト幅は600mmであり、冷却長さは11mであった。尿素含量が99.8重量%の尿素溶融体をペレタイザの供給装置に供給した。尿素溶融体を温度137℃でベルトに滴下した。ベルトは約50m/分の速度で回転させた。ベルトは温度約22℃、流量6.5〜9m3/時の冷却水で冷却した。生成した尿素ペレットをベルトの折り返し点で擦り取った。尿素ペレットは、温度32〜38℃、直径3.15〜4.00mm、高さ2.0mmであった。ペレットの圧潰強さは15Nであった。
実施例Iで得られた尿素ペレットを用いて散布試験を行った。尿素ペレットをアマゾン(Amazone)のZA−M マキシ S 1500(ZA−M Maxi S 1500)型肥料散布装置に供給した。24mの有効幅を実現できた。
サンドビック・プロセス・システムズ(Sandvik Process Systems)のロトフォーム(Rotoform)装置で、尿素溶融体をペレット化した。ロトフォーム(Rotoform)装置のベルト幅は600mmであり、冷却長さは11mであった。尿素含量が99.8重量%の尿素溶融体をペレタイザの供給装置に供給した。尿素溶融体を温度150℃でベルトに滴下した。ベルトは約90m/分の速度で回転させた。ベルトは温度約22℃、流量8.5〜10m3/時の冷却水で冷却した。生成した尿素ペレットをベルトの折り返し点で擦り取った。尿素ペレットは、温度56〜59℃、直径3.5〜5.4mm、高さ1.9mmであった。尿素ペレットをベルトから除去することはできたが、ベルトからペレットを除去する際に大量のダストを生じた。このペレットは貯蔵後にケーキングを示した。
Claims (6)
- 供給装置、ベルト、および前記ベルトから生成されたペレットを取り除く装置を備えるペレタイザにおいて、尿素含有液の液滴を前記ベルトに滴下する供給装置へ尿素含有液を供給し、前記ベルト上で尿素含有液滴を固化させるとともに、≦55℃の温度に冷却し、その後、生成された尿素含有粒子をベルトから取り除くことによって、尿素含有粒子を製造する、前記尿素含有液中の尿素の量が20〜100重量%であることを特徴とする尿素含有粒子の製造方法であり、
前記尿素含有液が、尿素溶融体であり、
前記尿素溶融体が、尿素を≧99重量%含有する尿素含有粒子の製造方法。 - 前記尿素含有粒子を前記ベルトから除去した後、前記ベルトを清浄することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記尿素含有液が、添加剤を含有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤が、ホルムアルデヒド溶液、または、尿素とホルムアルデヒドとの反応生成物であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記尿素含有液が、尿素と他の肥料との混合物であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記尿素含有液が、尿素と硫酸アンモニウムとの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
