Description
a)懸濁粒子デバイスを備えるSPDプライを準備する工程と、
b)所定含水量まで乾燥した中間層材料を含む少なくとも一つの中間層プライを準備する工程と、
c)少なくとも一枚の窓ガラスプライを準備する工程と、
d)少なくとも前記SPDプライと、中間層プライと、窓ガラスプライとをまとめて積層する工程とを備える。
予め90℃で一晩加熱することにより乾燥したSPDフィルムと、予め100%相対湿度(RH)及び50℃の温度に晒したフィルムとを用いて積層体を調製した。
PVB(ポリビニルブチラール)は、車両用積層窓ガラスに用いる典型的な中間層材料である。自動車の積層窓ガラスに対し重要なパラメーターであるPVBのガラスへの接着性を慎重に制御するためには、PVBの含水量を制御することが必要である。これは、一般に積層前のPVBを20+/−2℃及び24+/−4%RHに制御された温度及び湿度条件で保管することにより達成される。これによって、含水量が約0.26〜0.5%となる。

ここでPVB層は全て厚さが0.38mmであり、被覆PETは厚さが0.05mmであった。試料全体の厚さは約5.2mmであった。
Claims (20)
- 光透過率の低いオフ状態と光透過率の高いオン状態とを有する懸濁粒子デバイスを備えるSPDプライと、
中間層材料を含む少なくとも一枚の中間層プライと、
少なくとも一枚の窓ガラスプライとを備え、
該中間層材料を0.23重量%以下の所定含水量まで乾燥して、懸濁粒子デバイスによる光透過率の低いオフ状態と光透過率の高いオン状態との切り替え可能な時間を増加させたことを特徴とする積層窓ガラス。 - 前記懸濁粒子デバイスは、少なくとも一枚が透明である少なくとも二つの離間し、対向したガラスと、光変調素子とを備える請求項1に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 前記光変調素子が、粒子の液体懸濁液、好ましくは粒子の液体懸濁液の分散型液滴を含むプラスチックフィルムを備える請求項2に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 前記中間層材料がポリビニルブチラール、エチレン酢酸ビニル、ポリウレタンまたはシリコーンからなる請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 一枚以上のプラスチックプライをさらに備える請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 前記プラスチックプライの少なくとも一枚が赤外線反射コーティングを有する請求項5に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 二枚の中間層プライがある請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 二枚の窓ガラスプライがある請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 前記中間層材料が、0.20重量%以下の所定含水量を有する請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 前記プライの少なくとも一枚が、低放射率コーティングまたは太陽光制御コーティングを有する請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 前記窓ガラスプライまたはそれぞれの窓ガラスプライが、ガラスプライである請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- 前記SPDプライを乾燥した請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の積層窓ガラス。
- a)懸濁粒子デバイスを備えるSPDプライを準備する工程と、
b)0.23重量%以下の所定含水量まで乾燥した中間層材料を含む少なくとも一枚の中間層プライを準備する工程と、
c)少なくとも一枚の窓ガラスプライを準備する工程と、
d)少なくとも前記SPDプライと、中間層プライと、窓ガラスプライとをまとめて積層する工程とを備えることを特徴とする積層窓ガラスの製造方法。 - 前記中間層材料の乾燥が、前記中間層材料を所定温度で所定圧力下所定時間保持する工程を備える請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記乾燥が、前記中間層材料を所定の相対湿度で保管する工程を備える請求項13または14に記載の方法。
- SPDフィルムによる光透過率の低いオフ状態と光透過率の高いオン状態との切り替え可能な時間を増加させるためにSPDフィルムを含む積層窓ガラスにおける中間層として0.24重量%以下の含水量を有する中間層材料の使用。
- 前記中間層材料がSPDフィルムに隣接する請求項16に記載の使用。
- 前記中間層材料がポリビニルブチラール、エチレン酢酸ビニル、ポリウレタンまたはシリコーンからなる請求項16または17に記載の使用。
- 前記中間層が0.23重量%以下の含水量を有する請求項16〜18のいずれか一項に記載の使用。
- 前記SPDプライを乾燥した前記請求項16〜19のいずれか一項に記載の使用。
