Claims (3)
- 送信データを変調した第1変調信号に基づいて第1エンベロープ信号を抽出する第1エンベロープ抽出部と、
該送信データを該第1変調信号よりも高い周波数で変調した第2変調信号に基づいて第2エンベロープ信号を抽出する第2エンベロープ抽出部と、
該第1または第2変調信号を増幅する増幅部と、
該第1または第2のエンベロープ信号に基づいて、該増幅部に供給する電源電圧を出力する電源生成部と、
該第1または第2変調信号のいずれか一方を該増幅部に増幅させると共に、対応する該第1または第2エンベロープ信号のいずれか一方に基づいて該電源生成部に電源電圧を出力させる制御部とを有し、
該増幅部は、電気的特性の異なる複数の増幅器と、それぞれの該増幅器に対応する容量の異なる複数のバイパスコンデンサを有し、
該制御部が出力する制御信号に応じて、該電源生成部に入力する該第1または第2のエンベロープ信号が切り替えられ、該バイパスコンデンサの接続が切り替えられた後に、該増幅器との接続が切り替えられる
ことを特徴とする送信装置。 - 該第1エンベロープ抽出部は、該第1変調信号の高周波成分を除去した該第1エンベロープ信号を出力する第1ローパスフィルタを有し、
該第2エンベロープ抽出部は、該第2変調信号の振幅と、該変調信号を該増幅部で増幅し一定の割合で減衰させた波形振幅との大小関係に応じた電圧波形を出力する比較部と、該電圧波形の高周波成分を除去した該第2エンベロープ信号を出力する第2ローパスフィルタと、該電圧波形の低周波成分を除去した波形を該電源生成部が出力する電源電圧に重畳するハイパスフィルタとを有する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の送信装置。 - 信号を増幅する増幅部に、送信データを変調した第1変調信号または該第1変調信号よりも高い周波数で該送信データを変調した第2変調信号のいずれか一方を出力すると共に、該増幅部の電源電圧を生成する電源生成部の出力電圧値を調整するエンベロープ信号を出力する電源制御モジュールであって、
該第1変調信号に基づいて第1エンベロープ信号を該電源生成部に出力する第1エンベロープ抽出部と、
該第2変調信号に基づいて第2エンベロープ信号を該電源生成部に出力する第2エンベロープ抽出部と、
該増幅部に出力する該第1または第2変調信号のいずれか一方に対応する、該第1または第2エンベロープ信号に基づいて、該電源生成部に電源電圧を出力させる制御部とを有し、
該増幅部は、電気的特性の異なる複数の増幅器と、それぞれの該増幅器に対応する容量の異なる複数のバイパスコンデンサを有し、
該制御部が出力する制御信号に応じて、該電源生成部に入力する該第1または第2のエンベロープ信号が切り替えられ、該バイパスコンデンサの接続が切り替えられた後に、該増幅器との接続が切り替えられる
ことを特徴とする電源制御モジュール。
