Description
(1) 基油と、
構造中に水酸基を有し、かつヒドロキシル価が22〜37のポリ(メタ)アクリレートを含む粘度指数向上剤とを含み、
40℃における動粘度が38〜48mm 2 /s、および100℃における動粘度が4〜13mm 2 /sであり、乳化性を有することを特徴とする農業車両または建設機械車両の駆動系用潤滑油。
(2) 粘度指数向上剤が、構造中に水酸基を有するポリ(メタ)アクリレート50〜100質量部、および構造中に水酸基を有しないポリ(メタ)アクリレート50〜0質量部を含むものである上記(1)記載の潤滑油。
(3) 粘度指数向上剤のポリ(メタ)アクリレートが質量平均分子量5,000から50,000のものである上記(1)または(2)記載の潤滑油。
(4) 粘度指数向上剤の添加量は、希釈油を除いたネットポリマーとして潤滑油組成物の全重量を基準として1〜8質量%である上記(1)ないし(3)のいずれかに記載の潤滑油。
(5) 潤滑油が、極圧剤、摩耗防止剤、流動点降下剤、酸化防止剤、金属不活性剤、油性向上剤、消泡剤および防錆剤から選ばれる他の添加剤を含む上記(1)ないし(4)のいずれかに記載の潤滑油。
(6) (1)乃至(5)いずれかに記載の潤滑油と水分とが乳化することにより、農業車両または建設機械車両の摺動部の焼付きを防止する方法。
(a1)炭素数1〜4のアルキル基を有するアルキル(メタ)アクリレート:例えば、メチル(メタ)アクリレート、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、n−またはiso−プロピル(メタ)アクリレート、n−,iso−またはsec−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、
(b1) ヒドロキシアルキル(炭素数2〜6)(メタ)アクリレート:例えば、2−ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、2または3−ヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、2−ヒドロキシブチル(メタ)アクリレート、1−メチル−2−ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレートなど、
(b3)ビニルアルコール(酢酸ビニル単位の加水分解により形成される)、
(b5)炭素数4〜12のアルケンジオール:例えば、1−ブテン−3−オール、2−ブテン−1−オール、2−ブテン−1,4−ジオールなど、
(b6)ヒドロキシアルキル(炭素数1〜6)アルケニル(炭素数3〜10)エーテル:例えば、2−ヒドロキシエチルプロペニルエーテルなど、
(b8)多価(3〜8価)アルコール:例えば、アルカンポリオール、その分子内もしくは分子間脱水物、糖類(例えば、グリセリン、ペンタエリスリトール、ソルビトール、ソルビタン、ジグリセリン、蔗糖)のアルケニル(炭素数3〜10)エーテルもしくは(メタ)アクリレート(例えば、蔗糖(メタ)アリルエーテル)など、
上記単量体(a)は、好ましくは50〜95質量%、さらに好ましくは75〜85質量%である。上記単量体(a)として単量体(a1)を用いる場合、単量体(a1)は、好ましくは0〜20質量%、さらに好ましくは1〜10質量%である。上記単量体(a)として単量体(a2)を用いる場合、単量体(a2)は、好ましくは50〜95質量%、さらに好ましくは70〜90質量%である。
上記単量体(a)と単量体(b)の合計の割合は、好ましくは55〜100質量%、さらに好ましくは82〜100質量%であり、残部は以下の他の単量体とすることができる。
(c1)ニトロ基含有単量体:例えば、4−ニトロスチレンなど、
(c2−1)1級アミノ基含有ビニル単量体;例えば、炭素数3〜6のアルケニルアミン[(メタ)アリルアミン、クロチルアミンなど]、アミノアルキル(炭素数2〜6)(メタ)アクリレート[アミノエチル(メタ)アクリレートなど]、
(c2−2)2級アミノ基含有ビニル単量体;例えば、アルキル(炭素数1〜6)アミノアルキル(炭素数2〜6)(メタ)アクリレート[t−ブチルアミノエチルメタクリレート、メチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレートなど]、ジフェニルアミン(メタ)アクリルアミド[4−ジフェニルアミン(メタ)アクリルアミド、2−ジフェニルアミン(メタ)アクリルアミドなど]、炭素数6〜12のジアルケニルアミン[ジ(メタ)アリルアミンなど]、
(c2−4)含窒素複素環含有ビニル系単量体[モルホリノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、4−ビニルピリジン、2−ビニルピリジン、N−ビニルピロール、N−ビニルピロリドン、N−ビニルチオピロリドンなど]がある。
例えば、N−(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ(もしくはアミノ)アルキル(炭素数1〜10)N,N−ジアルキル(炭素数1〜5)アンモニウム−N−アルキル(炭素数1〜5)カルボキシレート(もしくはサルフェート)、例えば、N−(メタ)アクリロイルオキシエチルN,N−ジメチルアンモニウムN−メチルカルボキシレート、N−(メタ)アクリロイルアミノプロピルN,N−ジメチルアンモニウムN−メチルカルボキシレート、およびN−(メタ)アクリロイルオキシエチルN,N−ジメチルアンモニウムプロピルサルフェートなど、
(c4)ニトリル基含有単量体:例えば、(メタ)アクリロニトリルなど、がある。
硫黄系添加剤としては、硫化オレフィンで代表される炭化水素サルファイド化合物および硫化油脂からなる群より選択される少なくとも一種の硫黄化合物を含有する添加剤を挙げることができる。
また、硫化油脂としては、油脂類と硫黄との反応生成物を挙げることができ、硫黄元素含有量が5〜20重量%のものが用いられる。
このような硫黄系添加剤は、潤滑油組成物の全重量を基準で、硫黄元素量として、1〜5質量%の範囲で配合され、特に好ましい配合量は、1.5〜3質量%である。
硫黄‐リン系化合物としては、チオリン酸エステル系化合物が挙げられる。チオリン酸エステル類は、モノ、ジ、トリエステルのいずれでもよく、そのアルコール残基としては炭素数4〜30のアルキル基、例えば、ブチル、オクチル、ラウリル、ステアリル、オレイル基など、炭素数6〜30のアリール基、例えば、フェニル基など、炭素数7〜30のアルキル置換アリール基、例えば、メチルフェニル、オクチルフェニル基などが挙げられる。
(2)動粘度(Vk100):JIS−K−2283による100℃の動粘度(mm2/s)
(3)粘度指数:JIS−K−2283による粘度指数
潤滑油の水との乳化性を評価するもので、JIS K2520の水分離性試験方法に準拠している。
試験条件1:水(60ml)+試験油(20ml)を試験用容器に移し、54℃±1℃に温度調節を行っている恒温水槽に、少なくとも30分間は静置して安定させる。温度が安定したら、攪拌板をサンプルの入った容器に挿して、1500rpmで5分間攪拌させ、攪拌が終了してからどのくらいの時間、乳化状態を維持できるか乳化層の定量評価をする。
試験条件2:試験条件1のサンプルを水(40ml)+試験油(40ml)とし、静置時間を20または30分間にする他は、試験条件1と同様の試験手順、評価基準による。
シェル式四球試験機により、玉軸受用鋼球を用い、回転数1200rpmおよび1500rpm、荷重400N、温度75℃(1200rpm)、温度80℃(1500rpm)で時間30分の条件で実施し、固定球の摩耗痕径を求めた。なお実施例と比較例の新油および乳化性試験を行った乳化油についても摩耗試験に供した。
基油A:高度水素化精製基油、100℃における動粘度;約4mm2/s、40℃における動粘度;19.5mm2/s、粘度指数;123。
水酸基含有ポリメタクリレート(PA):ヒドロキシル価;28、数平均分子量;10,000、質量平均分子量;15,000、ポリマー純分(ネットポリマー);54質量%。
水酸基非含有ポリメタクリレート(PB):アクルーブ728(三洋化成工業株式会社製、商標)、数平均分子量;22,000、質量平均分子量;40,000、ポリマー純分;30質量%。
水酸基非含有ポリメタクリレート(PC):アクルーブ504(三洋化成工業株式会社製、商標)、数平均分子量;70,000、質量平均分子量;180,000、ポリマー純分;20質量%。
硫黄−リン系極圧剤:アングラモール99(ルーブリゾール社製、商標)。
流動点降下剤:ルブランVI-721(東邦化学(株)製、商標)。
上記の基油Aに、水酸基含有ポリメタクリレート(PA)を20重量%を混合した試料を、上記の試験条件1に従って乳化性試験を行い、乳化状態を評価した。攪拌乳化後、30分後の乳化層は70mlであった。
上記の基油Aに、水酸基含有ポリメタクリレート(PA)を15重量%と、水酸基を含有しない通常のポリメタクリレート(PB)を2.5重量%を混合した試料を、上記の試験条件1に従って評価を行った。攪拌乳化後、30分後の乳化層は67mlであった。
上記の基油Aに、水酸基を含有しない通常のポリメタクリレート(PB)を10重量%を混合した試料を、上記の試験条件1に従って評価を行った。攪拌乳化後、30分後の乳化層は0mlであった。
実施例1〜3の潤滑油として、粘度グレードが75W/80となるように、水酸基含有ポリメタクリレート(PA)を10%、水酸基を含有しない通常のポリメタクリレート(PC)を7.5重量%、流動点降下剤を1%、さらに硫黄−リン系極圧剤を、APIのサービス分類に基づくギヤ油の性能分類で、GL−3(実施例1)、GL−4(実施例2)およびGL−5(実施例3)の添加量で混合して潤滑油を製造した。これらの潤滑油について、100℃における動粘度(Vk100)、40℃における動粘度(Vk40)、および粘度指数(VI)を測定するとともに、前記4球摩耗試験により、温度75℃(1200rpm)、温度80℃(1500rpm)の摩耗痕径(mm)を求めた。上記の結果を表2に示す。
実施例1〜3において、水酸基含有ポリメタクリレート(PA)を配合せず、通常のポリメタクリレート(PC)だけを配合して比較例1〜3の潤滑油を製造した。これらの潤滑油について、同様に100℃における動粘度(Vk100)、40℃における動粘度(Vk40)、および粘度指数(VI)を測定するとともに、前記4球摩耗試験により、温度75℃(1200rpm)、温度80℃(1500rpm)の摩耗痕径(mm)を求めた。上記の結果を表3に示す。
Claims (6)
- 基油と、
構造中に水酸基を有し、かつヒドロキシル価が22〜37のポリ(メタ)アクリレートを含む粘度指数向上剤とを含み、
40℃における動粘度が38〜48mm 2 /s、および100℃における動粘度が4〜13mm 2 /sであり、乳化性を有することを特徴とする農業車両または建設機械車両の駆動系用潤滑油。 - 粘度指数向上剤が、構造中に水酸基を有するポリ(メタ)アクリレート50〜100質量部、および構造中に水酸基を有しないポリ(メタ)アクリレート50〜0質量部を含むものである請求項1記載の潤滑油。
- 粘度指数向上剤のポリ(メタ)アクリレートが質量平均分子量5,000から50,000のものである請求項1または2記載の潤滑油。
- 粘度指数向上剤の添加量は、希釈油を除いたネットポリマーとして潤滑油組成物の全重量を基準として1〜8質量%である請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の潤滑油。
- 潤滑油が、極圧剤、摩耗防止剤、流動点降下剤、酸化防止剤、金属不活性剤、油性向上剤、消泡剤および防錆剤から選ばれる他の添加剤を含む請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の潤滑油。
- 請求項1乃至5いずれかに記載の潤滑油と水分とが乳化することにより、農業車両または建設機械車両の摺動部の焼付きを防止する方法。
