Claims (18)
- 第1プラスチック管(110)を第2プラスチック管(120)に同軸に結合する方法であって、これらプラスチック管(110、120)が医療用カテーテル(102)の部材として設けられる、方法が、
a)前記第1プラスチック管(110)の端領域(111)を結合ピース(111.1)に変形するステップ、
b)前記第2プラスチック管(120)を結合ピース(111.1)に少なくとも全長にわたって同軸にかぶせるステップ、
c)結合ピース(111.1)の自由端(111.2)を拡張するステップ、
d)変形プロセスにおいて接着的及び形状結合的な結合の少なくとも1つを形成するステップを含む、方法。 - 前記結合ピース(111.1)の外径が、前記第1プラスチック管(110)の外径に比較してかなり細く構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記結合ピース(111.1)を作成するために、シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の端部分(181)が、前記第1プラスチック管(110)の前記端領域(111)内に差し込まれ、次に、前記第1プラスチック管(110)の前記端領域(111)が変形により外側から前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の前記端部分(181)にぴったり合わせて成形され、その際前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の前記端部分(181)の外径(181.1)が、前記結合ピース(111.1)形成前の前記第1プラスチック管(111)の内径(113)の60〜80%の寸法であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記結合ピース(111.1)を作成するために、シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の端部分(181)が、前記第1プラスチック管(110)の前記端領域(111)内に差し込まれ、次に、前記第1プラスチック管(110)の前記端領域(111)が変形により外側から前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の前記端部分(181)にぴったり合わせて成形され、その際前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の前記端部分(181)の外径(181.1)が、前記結合ピース(111.1)形成前の前記第1プラスチック管(111)の内径(113)の65〜75%の寸法であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記結合ピース(111.1)の前記自由端(111.2)を拡張するために、前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の前記端部分(181)に続く、前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の肥大領域(183)、及び/又は、この肥大領域(183)に向かう拡張した移行領域(182)が、前記第1プラスチック管(110)の方向に向かって前記結合ピース(111.1)の前記自由端(111.2)の中に差し込まれることを特徴とする、請求項3又は4に記載の方法。
- 前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の前記肥大領域(183)の外径が、前記結合ピース(111.1)形成前の前記第1プラスチック管(110)の内径(113)に略相当することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記変形プロセス中に、前記第2プラスチック管(120)が、形状結合的な結合を形成しながら、端側が拡張された前記結合ピース(111.1)にぴったり合わせて成形されることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記変形プロセス中に、前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の前記端部分(181)が前記結合ピース(111.1)内にあり、及び、前記シリンダ状ワイヤピース(180)の前記拡張された移行領域(182)及び/又は前記肥大領域(183)が、前記結合ピース(111.1)の前記拡張された自由端(111.2)内にあることを特徴とする、請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
- 前記第1プラスチック管(110)及び/又は前記第2プラスチック管(120)が前記変形プロセス後に渦巻状に巻かれて、熱を用いて寸法的に安定した渦巻に形成され、これにより、梱包カバーから取り外された後もこの渦巻の形状が保たれることを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 結合ピース(111.1)により第2プラスチック管(120)に接続された第1プラスチック管(110)を有する構造(101)であって、請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の方法により作成された構造(101)において、
前記第1プラスチック管(110)の端領域(111)が変形されて結合ピース(111.1)になる、構造。 - 前記結合ピース(111.1)は、前記第1プラスチック管(110)の外径より小さな外径を有している、請求項10に記載の構造。
- 前記結合ピースは、一つの自由端(111.2)において拡張されていることを特徴とする、請求項10又は11に記載の構造。
- 前記第1プラスチック管(110)及び/又は前記第2プラスチック管(120)が、寸法が安定した渦巻の形をしており、これにより、梱包カバーから取り外された後、この渦巻の形が保たれることを特徴とする、請求項10〜12のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記第1プラスチック管(110)が第1の熱可塑性材料であり、前記第2プラスチック管(120)が第2の熱可塑性材料であることを特徴とする、請求項10から13のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記第1の熱可塑性材料がポリエチレンテレフタレート製であることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の構造。
- 前記第2の熱可塑性材料がナイロン製であることを特徴とする、請求項14又は15に記載の構造。
- 前記第1プラスチック管(10)の弾性率が、前記第2プラスチック管(20)の弾性率より高いことを特徴とする、請求項10から16のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 請求項10から17のいずれか一項に記載の構造(101)を有する、医療用カテーテル(102)。
