Description
The present invention relates to an imaging apparatus, and more particularly to an imaging apparatus for monitoring.
In recent years, surveillance cameras (imaging devices) have been installed in various places such as commercial facilities, amusement facilities, and housing complexes for reasons such as crime prevention. The surveillance camera is supplied with power from an external power source and always images the imaged area. The surveillance camera is connected to a control device installed in a crime prevention management center or the like or an external device such as a monitor, and image data captured by the surveillance camera is transmitted to these external devices. As a result, in the crime prevention management center or the like, an administrator or the like can always check the image captured by the monitoring camera via the monitor or the like.
In recent years, miniaturization and high performance of surveillance cameras have progressed. Along with this, circuit boards mounted on surveillance cameras have also been miniaturized and densified, and signal processing has also been performed at high speed. For this reason, the amount of heat generated inside the surveillance camera tends to increase. On the other hand, with the miniaturization of surveillance cameras, various components are arranged at high density in the housing, so it is difficult to secure a sufficient heat radiation space inside the housing.
Therefore, for example, heat generated in a circuit board is transmitted to a metal casing through a heat transfer sheet, and heat is dissipated to the outside air through the casing (for example, “ See Patent Document 1).
However, since the conventional surveillance camera (for example, “
Moreover, since the surveillance camera described in
On the other hand, if a resin casing is adopted, the surveillance camera can be reduced in weight, the degree of freedom in design is increased, and processing and molding are facilitated. However, except for special resins, the thermal conductivity of the resin is generally lower than that of the metal. For this reason, it is difficult to dissipate internal heat to the outside air through the resin casing.
Therefore, it is conceivable that an opening is formed in the resin housing, a heat radiating member such as a heat sink is provided, the internal heat is transmitted to the heat sink, and the heat is radiated through the heat radiating member. However, separately providing the heat radiating member leads to an increase in cost. Further, when the surveillance camera is directly installed on the ceiling surface or the wall surface, for the same reason as described above, heat radiation may be hindered depending on the position where the heat radiation member is provided. Further, when the heat dissipating member is arranged on the front side of the housing, the aesthetics of the monitoring camera may be deteriorated. Furthermore, when the heat dissipating member is disposed on the front side, the heat transfer structure between the circuit board and the heat sink may be complicated.
An object of the present invention is to provide an imaging apparatus that can reliably radiate heat with a simple configuration regardless of the installation position of the imaging apparatus even when a resin casing is employed. .
In view of the above problems, the present inventors have conducted extensive research, and as a result, the surveillance camera is connected to at least one of an external power supply and an external device such as a remote control device via a cable. Therefore, the above-mentioned problems have been achieved by adopting a heat dissipation structure using a cable bush.
An imaging apparatus according to the present invention is an imaging apparatus in which an imaging unit that is electrically connected to at least one of an external power supply and an external device via a cable is housed in a housing. Cable bush and a heat transfer member that transmits heat generated by the operation of the imaging unit to the cable bush, and the cable bush is inserted into an insertion port provided in the housing. It is fixed to the housing, and at this time, at least a part of the cable bush is exposed to the outside of the housing.
In the imaging device according to the present invention, the cable bush is provided on a cylindrical portion through which the cable is inserted and an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion, and when the cylindrical portion is inserted into the insertion port. It is preferable that the outer side of the housing is provided with a collar portion that covers the periphery of the insertion port.
In the imaging device according to the present invention, a screw thread or a screw groove is provided on a side of the cable bush that is inserted into the insertion port, and the heat transfer member is provided inside the cable bush and the casing. It is preferable to use a nut that is screwed to fix the cable bush to the housing, and a heat transfer sheet that comes into contact with the nut and the heat generation area of the imaging unit.
In the imaging apparatus according to the present invention, it is preferable that a heat radiating member attached to the cable bush and radiating heat transmitted to the cable bush is provided outside the housing.
In the imaging device according to the present invention, a cable retaining bush that is press-contactable to an inner peripheral surface of the cable bush and an outer peripheral surface of the cable is provided, and the heat radiating member is exposed from the casing of the cable bush. It is preferable that the tightening nut is screwed into a screw thread or a screw groove formed on the cable to maintain the cable retaining bush in pressure contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cable bush and the outer peripheral surface of the cable.
In the imaging device according to the present invention, it is preferable to include a first watertight member that provides a watertight state between the outer peripheral surface of the cable bush and the inner peripheral surface of the insertion port.
In the imaging device according to the present invention, it is preferable to include a second watertight member that makes the space between the inner peripheral surface of the cable bush and the outer peripheral surface of the cable watertight.
In the imaging device according to the present invention, the housing is preferably made of resin.
According to the imaging apparatus according to the present invention, the heat generated by the operation of the imaging unit is transmitted to the metal cable bush by the heat transfer member. Since at least a part of the cable bush is exposed to the outside of the casing, the heat in the casing can be transmitted to the outside of the casing through the portion exposed to the outside of the casing. Here, when the imaging device is directly installed on a ceiling surface or a wall surface, a hole for cable wiring is often provided on the ceiling surface or the wall surface. Therefore, at least a part of the cylindrical portion comes into contact with the outside air through the hole for cable wiring, and the heat transmitted to the cable bush can be dissipated to the outside air.
As described above, by employing the cable bush as the heat radiating member, an opportunity for the heat radiating member to come into contact with the outside air can be ensured regardless of the installation position of the imaging device, and heat can be reliably radiated. Moreover, since only the cable bush has to be made of metal for heat dissipation, the housing can be made of resin. Accordingly, the surveillance camera can be reduced in weight. In addition, by adopting a resinous housing, it becomes easy to process and increase the degree of freedom of design. In addition, this makes it possible to reduce the cost of the material itself or the cost required for processing and forming compared to the case where a metal casing is employed. Furthermore, it is not necessary to separately provide a heat radiating member such as a heat sink, and an increase in the number of parts can be prevented. The cable bush can be arranged on the installation surface side of the housing for cable wiring. For this reason, the heat transfer structure for heat dissipation can be simplified without affecting the aesthetics of the surveillance camera.
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the
The
Next, with reference to FIG. 2, the internal configuration of the
The first circuit board 21 is mounted with an
Here, with the imaging operation of the
First, the
A screw thread or a groove is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion 43 of the cylindrical portion 41, and a metal flat nut 51 is screwed inside the
Further, the protruding side 44 of the cylindrical portion 41 is also provided with a screw thread or a screw groove. And the
Next, the
The heat transfer sheet 52 is a sheet-like or flat plate-like
The heat transferred to the insertion side 43 of the tubular portion 41 of the
Next, the locking structure of the
In a state where no load is applied to the
Next, the waterproof structure around the
The first watertight member 81 can employ an O-ring made of a water-repellent or hydrophobic elastic material such as rubber. By employing an O-ring made of such an elastic material, the first watertight member 81 can be easily attached to the insertion side 43 of the tubular portion 41 of the
As with the first watertight member 81, an O-ring made of a water-repellent or hydrophobic elastic material such as rubber can be used for the second watertight member 82. As a result, similarly to the first watertight member 81, it is brought into close contact with the protruding side 44 of the
According to the
Therefore, according to the
In the above embodiment, the flat nut 51 and the heat transfer sheet 52 are employed as the
Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the
The present embodiment described above is an aspect of the present invention, and it is needless to say that the embodiment can be appropriately changed without departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the
Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the planar nut 51 and the heat-transfer sheet | seat 52 were employ | adopted as the heat-
Further, in the above embodiment, the
The image pickup apparatus according to the present invention employs a cable bush that passes through a cable connected to an external power source or an external device as a heat radiating member, so that the heat radiating member can contact the outside air regardless of the installation position of the image pickup apparatus. It can be ensured, and the heat in the housing can be reliably radiated to the outside air. For this reason, the said imaging device can be used suitably as a surveillance camera installed in a ceiling surface or a wall surface. Moreover, since only the cable bush has to be made of metal for heat dissipation, the housing can be made of resin. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the weight of the surveillance camera, increase the degree of freedom in design, and facilitate processing. Further, the cost can be reduced by making the housing made of resin. Furthermore, it is not necessary to provide a heat sink or the like separately, and an increase in the number of parts can be prevented. Moreover, since it can arrange | position to the installation surface side of a housing | casing, it does not affect the aesthetics of a surveillance camera, and can also simplify the heat-transfer structure for heat radiation.
