Description
(a)水とそのイオン交換容量の少なくとも一部を水素形で有するカチオン交換樹脂とを含む反応容器を準備するステップ、

(c)水性相のpHが約5.0から約9.0の範囲になるまで上記ケイ酸塩水溶液スラリーを攪拌するステップ、
(d)1つ又はそれ以上のアルカリ性材料を上記水性相に添加して、pHを約7.0から約11.0の範囲にするステップ、及び
(e)ステップ(c)の後又はステップ(d)の後に上記イオン交換樹脂を上記水性相から分離するステップ
を含む、シリカ系粒子を含有するゾルを製造するための方法に関する。
(a)水とそのイオン交換容量の少なくとも一部を水素形で有するカチオン交換樹脂とを含む反応容器を準備するステップ、
(b)上記反応容器にアルカリ金属ケイ酸塩水溶液を添加して、ケイ酸塩水溶液スラリーを形成するステップ、
(c)水性相のpHが約5.0から約8.5の範囲になるまで上記ケイ酸塩水溶液スラリーを攪拌するステップ、
(d)1つ又はそれ以上のアルカリ性材料を上記水性相に添加して、pHを約7.0から約8.5の範囲にするステップ、及び
(e)ステップ(c)の後又はステップ(d)の後に上記イオン交換樹脂を上記水性相から分離するステップ
を含む、シリカ系粒子を含有するゾルを製造するための方法にも関する。
(a)セルロース系繊維を含む水性懸濁液を提供するステップ、
(b)本発明によるシリカ系粒子を含有するゾルを含む1つ又はそれ以上の濾水及び歩留まり向上剤を上記懸濁液に添加するステップ、及び
(c)得られた懸濁液を脱水して、紙のシート又はウェブを生じさせるステップ
を含む、紙を製造するための方法に関する。
(a)攪拌機を装備した反応器、
(b)製造業者の説示に従って硫酸で再生したイオン交換樹脂Ameberlite
(商標)IRC84SPI(Rohm & Haasから入手可能)、
(c)約23.9重量%のSiO2含有量及び約3.4のSiO2対Na2Oのモル比を有する、ケイ酸ナトリウム水溶液、及び
(d)約24.5重量%のAl2O3を含有する、アルミン酸ナトリウム水溶液。
(i)あれば成分Dをそのストックに添加し、その後、(d)秒間攪拌する、
(ii)あれば成分Cをそのストックに添加し、その後、(c)秒間攪拌する、
(iii)成分Bをそのストックに添加し、その後、(b)秒間攪拌する、
(iv)成分Aをそのストックに添加し、その後、(a)秒間攪拌する、及び
(v)脱水時間を自動的に記録しながらそのストックを脱水する。
Claims (23)
- 10〜100の軸比及び少なくとも800m2/gの比表面積を有するシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 25以下のS値を有する、請求項1に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 少なくとも11の軸比を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 50以下の軸比を有する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 11から35の範囲の軸比を有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 前記シリカ系粒子が少なくとも1000m2/gの比表面積を有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 前記シリカ系粒子が1600m2/g以下の比表面積を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- アルミニウムで改質された、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 前記シリカ系粒子がアルミニウムで表面改質された、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- Si:Alのモル比が5:1〜20:1である、請求項8又は9に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- Si:X(ここでXはアルカリ金属)のモル比が6:1〜20:1である、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- Si:X(ここでXはアルカリ金属)のモル比が15:1までである、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 少なくとも3重量%のシリカ含有量を有する、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 5から20%の範囲のS値を有する、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 7.0から10.0の範囲のpHを有する、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 前記ゾルが水性である、請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾル。
- 製紙の際の濾水及び歩留まり向上剤としての、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾルの使用。
- (a)セルロース系繊維を含む水性懸濁液を提供するステップ、
(b)請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載のシリカ系粒子を含有するゾルを含む1つ又はそれ以上の濾水及び歩留まり向上剤を前記懸濁液に添加するステップ、及び
(c)得られた懸濁液を脱水して、紙のシート又はウェブを生じさせるステップ
を含む、紙を製造するための方法。 - 前記1つ又はそれ以上の濾水及び歩留まり向上剤がカチオン性デンプンを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ又はそれ以上の濾水及び歩留まり向上剤がカチオン性合成ポリマーを含む、請求項18又は19に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ又はそれ以上の濾水及び歩留まり向上剤がアニオン性ポリマーを含む、請求項18から20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ又はそれ以上の濾水及び歩留まり向上剤がポリアクリルアミドを含む、請求項18から21のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- カチオン性凝集剤を前記懸濁液に添加するステップをさらに含む、請求項18から22のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
