Description
Claims (20)
- 関節窩構成要素と上腕骨構成要素を有する逆肩アセンブリであって、
前記関節窩構成要素は接合面を備え、該接合面は運動誘発要素を備え、
前記上腕骨構成要素は上腕骨ライナを備え、該上腕骨ライナは運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面を備え、
前記関節窩構成要素が関節窩内に埋め込まれ、前記上腕骨構成要素が上腕骨内に埋め込まれるときに、前記運動誘発要素と前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面との間の相互作用が、肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の外転運動を前記肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の前方屈曲運動に変化させるように、前記運動誘発要素と前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面が設計されている逆肩アセンブリ。 - 前記関節窩構成要素の前記接合面は、凸形状の幾何学形状を呈している請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記上腕骨ライナは、前記関節窩構成要素の前記接合面と係合するように設計された接合面をさらに備えている請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記上腕骨ライナの前記接合面は、凹形状の幾何学形状を呈している請求項3に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発要素と前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面との間の前記相互作用は、さらに前記肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の前記外転運動を前記肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の外旋運動に変化させるようになっている請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発要素と前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面との間の前記相互作用中に、前記運動誘発要素が前記関節窩構成要素の前記接合面上に静止した状態となるように設計されている請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発要素は、第1の端部及び第2の端部を有する選択可能な長さを備えたスロット内で移動するように設計されており、外転運動中に、該外転運動を前方屈曲運動に変換するように、前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面は前記運動誘発要素と接触して該運動誘発要素を前記スロットの前記第1の端部から前記スロットの前記第2の端部へと移動させるようになっている請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発要素は、上腕骨の位置を変える際に誘発される運動の方向を変化させるように、前記関節窩構成要素の前記接合面上に位置決めされている請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発要素は、上腕骨の位置を変える際に誘発される運動の方向を変化させることができる幾何学形状を呈している請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面は、複数の安定位置を形成するように設計された溝を備えている請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面は、外旋筋の欠損により生じる外旋共働筋の欠如によって前記逆肩アセンブリが内旋してしまうことを防止するように設計された溝を備え、該溝は、前記運動誘発要素がそれに沿って移動する表面を提供している請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面は、前記逆肩アセンブリの安定性を高めるように設計された後方フードを有している請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記肩甲骨に対して前記上腕骨が約60°外転運動する際、前記運動誘発要素は前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面に係合している請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記肩甲骨に対して前記上腕骨が約70°外転運動する際、前記運動誘発要素は、前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面に沿って移動し、前記肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の約10°の前方屈曲を誘発するようになっている請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記肩甲骨に対して前記上腕骨が約90°外転運動する際、前記運動誘発要素は、前記運動誘発上腕骨ライナ面に沿って移動し、前記肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の約20°の前方屈曲を誘発するようになっている請求項1に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記上腕骨ライナのくぼんだ領域は、約0.1016cm(約0.040インチ)から約0.6477cm(約0.255インチ)までの可変の深さを有している請求項5に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 関節窩構成要素と上腕骨構成要素を有する逆肩アセンブリであって、
前記上腕骨構成要素は上腕骨ライナを備え、該上腕骨ライナは接合面を備え、該接合面は運動誘発要素を備え、

前記関節窩構成要素が関節窩内に埋め込まれ、前記上腕骨構成要素が上腕骨内に埋め込まれるときに、前記運動誘発要素と前記運動誘発誘導面との間の相互作用が、肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の外転運動を前記肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の前方屈曲運動に変化させるように、前記運動誘発要素と前記運動誘発誘導面が設計されている逆肩アセンブリ。 - 前記運動誘発要素と前記運動誘発誘導面との間の前記相互作用は、さらに前記肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の前記外転運動を前記肩甲骨に対する前記上腕骨の外旋運動に変化させるようになっている請求項17に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
- 前記運動誘発要素は、上腕骨の位置を変える際に誘発される運動の方向を変化させることができる幾何学形状を呈している請求項17に記載の逆肩アセンブリ。
