Claims (5)
- 単位セルをカスケードに接続した構成を有して複数相の交流電圧を単相の交流電圧に変換する電力変換システムにおいて、前記カスケードに接続された各々の単位セルは、直列したスイッチング素子を並列接続し更に直流コンデンサを並列接続して前記直流コンデンサの電圧を正及び負として選択可能に出力するフルブリッジ構成であり、前記単位セルをカスケードに接続したカスケードレッグを3つ並列に接続し、前記カスケードレッグの各々の中点に交流電圧を位相が異なるように入力し、前記3つのカスケードレッグが並列接続した両端の端子を出力とするものであって、前記3つのカスケードレッグの各々が前記両端の端子に同じ周波数で同じ位相の交流電圧を出力し、且つ、前記前記3つのカスケードレッグの各々の中点の電圧が前記入力した交流電圧と等しくなるように、前記3つのカスケードレッグの各々のセルについて前記直流コンデンサの電圧を正として出力するか、負として出力するか、出力しないかのいずれかに制御することを特徴とした電力変換システム。
- 請求項1において、前記カスケードレッグは三つとして構成され、前記三つのカスケードレッグの中点にU相、V相、W相のそれぞれの交流電圧を入力し、前記三つのカスケードレッグの両端がそれぞれ電気的に接続され、前記両端の端子から交流電圧を出力することを特徴とした電力変換システム。
- 請求項2において、三つのそれぞれのカスケードレッグは、それぞれU相、V相、W相として入力される交流電圧と出力される単相の交流電圧との差電圧を、それぞれのカスケードレッグの両端の端子から出力することを特徴とした電力変換システム。
- 請求項1において、前記カスケードレッグは、前記カスケードレッグの中点の両側に、複数の前記単位セルを有するカスケードアームを有し、前記中点とそれぞれのカスケードアームとの間にそれぞれアームリアクトルを有することを特徴とした電力変換システム。
- 請求項1において、前記単位セルは、IGBTとダイオードとを組み合わせたIGBT並列体を直列に二つ接続したIGBTレッグを並列に二つ接続し、前記IGBTレッグに並列に直列コンデンサを接続し、前記二つのIGBTレッグ並列体の間に入出力端子を接続することを特徴とした電力変換システム。
