Description
The present invention relates to a starting clutch control device for an idle stop vehicle, and more particularly to a starting clutch control device when starting from an idle stop state.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an idle stop vehicle is known in which an engine is automatically stopped when the vehicle is stopped to suppress wasteful fuel consumption and emission of exhaust gas while the vehicle is stopped. The engine stop condition in such an idle stop vehicle includes vehicle stop and brake ON, and the engine restart condition includes brake OFF and accelerator pedal depression.
In the idling stop vehicle as described above, an oil pump driven by the engine, a belt-type continuously variable transmission whose output shaft is connected to a drive wheel, and a starting clutch provided between the engine and the continuously variable transmission And a hydraulic control device that supplies hydraulic pressure to the continuously variable transmission and the starting clutch based on the hydraulic pressure generated by the oil pump. In such a vehicle, the oil pump is also stopped along with the idle stop, so that the hydraulic pressure supplied to the continuously variable transmission and the starting clutch is lost during the idle stop. For this reason, if the start clutch is engaged early in an attempt to start from the idle stop state, there is a problem that the belt clamping pressure of the continuously variable transmission is insufficient and slip occurs between the belt and the pulley.
FIG. 6 shows an example of conventional engagement control of the starting clutch at the time of idle stop return (engine restart). When the idle stop returns at time t1, the engine speed is initially low due to cranking. The starting clutch is supplied with a clutch pressure so as to achieve a target clutch transmission torque corresponding to the initial pressure, and the secondary pulley is supplied with a hydraulic pressure for generating a belt clamping pressure. The initial pressure is a hydraulic pressure for starting the engagement of the starting clutch, and is set to, for example, a hydraulic pressure corresponding to the return spring force of the piston in the starting clutch. Since the engine completes explosion at time t2 when the cranking period ends, the engine speed rapidly increases. When the supply of the initial pressure is completed at time t3, the pressure increase control (sweep control) is started with a certain time gradient from the initial pressure. The clutch transmission torque gradually increases with the boost control. Since the engagement is almost completed at time t4, the maximum hydraulic pressure is supplied to the starting clutch so as to be completely engaged.
Immediately after the idling stop return as described above, since the discharge pressure of the oil pump itself is low, it takes time to fill the hydraulic oil in the pulley oil chamber of the continuously variable transmission, resulting in a delay in the increase of the belt clamping pressure, The increase in belt transmission torque is also delayed. On the other hand, although the hydraulic pressure with the initial pressure as the target value is also supplied to the starting clutch, the actual clutch transmission torque does not immediately rise to the torque corresponding to the initial pressure. If the clutch transmission torque of the starting clutch temporarily exceeds the belt transmission torque of the continuously variable transmission, as shown by the hatched lines in FIG. 6, belt slippage occurs and the durability of the belt is reduced.
In
In the case of
In view of the above-mentioned problems, the applicant of the present application has proposed a start clutch control device for an idle stop vehicle that can prevent belt slippage at the time of idle stop return in a vehicle having a start clutch upstream from the continuously variable transmission (special feature). Application 2009-192823). The starting clutch control device includes a hydraulic pressure sensor that detects a belt clamping pressure of the continuously variable transmission, a transmission torque calculation unit that calculates a belt transmission torque of the continuously variable transmission from the detected belt clamping pressure, and an automatic engine stop Belt slip prevention control that controls the clutch pressure by setting the target clutch pressure so that the clutch transmission torque of the starting clutch does not exceed the calculated belt transmission torque when restarting from the state, and the target clutch pressure is set to a predetermined initial value. Clutch control means for sequentially performing initial pressure control for maintaining the pressure and pressure increase control for increasing the target clutch pressure with a predetermined time gradient from the initial pressure after a predetermined time from the restart of the engine. Thus, at the start of clutch engagement, the upper limit of the target clutch pressure of the starting clutch is limited by the pressure corresponding to the belt transmission torque, so that belt slip can be reliably eliminated.
However, at the time of idle stop return, even if the target clutch pressure is limited by a pressure corresponding to the belt transmission torque, the response of the actual clutch pressure is poor and cannot follow the target clutch pressure. For this reason, belt slipping can be prevented, but it takes time to engage the start clutch, and there is a disadvantage that the time lag at the start becomes long.
An object of the present invention is to provide a start clutch control device for an idle stop vehicle that can reduce a time lag at the start while preventing belt slippage at the time of return from idle stop.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an engine that automatically stops when a predetermined engine stop condition is satisfied, and restarts when a predetermined engine restart condition is satisfied, and an oil driven by the engine. Based on a pump, a belt-type continuously variable transmission that transmits engine power to driving wheels, a starting clutch provided between the engine and the continuously variable transmission, and a hydraulic pressure generated by the oil pump, In an idle stop vehicle comprising a continuously variable transmission and a hydraulic control device that supplies hydraulic pressure to the starting clutch, belt clamping pressure detecting means for detecting a belt clamping pressure of the continuously variable transmission, and the detected belt Transmission torque calculation means for calculating the belt transmission torque of the continuously variable transmission from the clamping pressure, and when the engine restarts from the automatic stop state, Belt slip prevention control for controlling the clutch pressure by setting the target clutch pressure so that the clutch clutch transmission torque does not exceed the calculated belt transmission torque, and the initial pressure for maintaining the target clutch pressure at a predetermined initial pressure. Clutch control means for sequentially performing control and pressure increase control for increasing the target clutch pressure with a predetermined time gradient from the initial pressure, the clutch control means, when the belt clamping pressure exceeds a predetermined value, An idle stop vehicle characterized in that the belt slip prevention control is ended and pressure increase control for increasing the target clutch pressure to a pressure higher than the initial pressure is performed for a predetermined time, and thereafter the initial pressure control is performed. A starting clutch control device is provided.
In the present invention, at the time of low oil pressure immediately after the return to idle stop, the belt slip prevention control is performed so that the predetermined clutch pressure is not supplied to the starting clutch as the target clutch pressure but the target clutch pressure is not generated. . In this belt slip prevention control, the clutch pressure is controlled by setting the target clutch pressure according to the belt transmission torque so that the clutch transmission torque of the starting clutch does not exceed the belt transmission torque of the continuously variable transmission. In other words, the upper limit value of the target clutch pressure is set to a hydraulic pressure corresponding to the belt transmission torque, and the guard control is performed. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate a situation in which the starting clutch is engaged early when the idle stop is restored, the belt clamping pressure of the continuously variable transmission is insufficient, and slippage occurs between the belt and the pulley. The belt transmission torque rapidly increases when the hydraulic oil is filled in the pulley oil chamber of the continuously variable transmission, but when the target clutch pressure is also increased following the belt transmission torque, a sudden engagement shock is generated. Therefore, the belt slip prevention control is performed only until the target clutch pressure reaches a predetermined value, and after the target clutch pressure reaches the predetermined value, the initial pressure control and the pressure increase control are sequentially performed.
In the present invention, when the belt clamping pressure exceeds a predetermined value, the belt slip prevention control is terminated and the pressure increasing control for increasing the target clutch pressure to a pressure higher than the initial pressure is performed for a predetermined time, and thereafter the initial pressure is increased. Implement control. By temporarily increasing the target clutch pressure, the engagement time of the starting clutch is shortened, and the time lag at the time of starting can be shortened. Although the pressure increasing period varies depending on the response time from the command to the solenoid valve until the actual clutch pressure changes, it is preferable that the pressure increasing period is at least a time during which the actual clutch pressure does not exceed the initial pressure, for example, about 100 to 200 ms. Note that the pressure increase period may be variable depending on the accelerator opening and the oil temperature. The predetermined value with which the belt clamping pressure should be compared is a sufficient clamping pressure at which the belt does not slip. Even if the target clutch pressure is temporarily increased to a pressure higher than the initial pressure, belt slip does not occur.
The present invention is suitable when the clutch pressure and the belt clamping pressure (secondary pressure) are controlled by the same solenoid valve. That is, if clutch low pressure control such as belt slip prevention control is performed at the time of idling stop return, when the belt clamping pressure is controlled by the same solenoid valve, the belt clamping pressure is also kept low during that period, and sufficient belt transmission torque is obtained. There is a possibility that it cannot be secured. On the other hand, if the solenoid valve is controlled to temporarily increase the target clutch pressure to a pressure higher than the initial pressure at the end of the belt slip prevention control, the belt clamping pressure is also increased at the same time, so the belt transmission torque increases. And startability is improved. Further, when the solenoid valve for controlling the clutch pressure and the belt clamping pressure is also used for adjusting the line pressure, the line pressure is temporarily increased by performing the pressure increase control of the present invention. The transient response at the time of return from stop can be further improved.
The method for calculating the belt transmission torque is arbitrary. For example, the oil pressure sensor detects the oil pressure of the secondary pulley of the continuously variable transmission, calculates the belt clamping pressure from the detected oil pressure, and transmits the belt from the belt clamping pressure, the friction coefficient between the belt and the pulley, the belt winding diameter, etc. The torque may be obtained by calculation. As another method, the belt clamping pressure of the primary pulley is estimated from the belt clamping pressure of the secondary pulley and the operation status, and the belt transmission torque is obtained from the smaller one of the belt clamping pressures of both pulleys. Also good.
As described above, according to the present invention, the belt that sets the target clutch pressure of the starting clutch to be low so that the clutch transmission torque of the starting clutch does not exceed the belt transmission torque of the continuously variable transmission when starting from the idle stop return. Since the slip prevention control is performed, it is possible to solve the problem that slip occurs between the belt and the pulley of the continuously variable transmission at the time of idling stop return. In addition, since the pressure increase control is performed to temporarily increase the target clutch pressure to a pressure higher than the initial pressure when the belt clamping pressure exceeds a predetermined value, the engagement time of the start clutch is shortened, and the time lag at the start is reduced. Can be shortened.

The
The
FIG. 2 shows a hydraulic circuit as an example of the
In the hydraulic circuit of FIG. 2, valves other than the regulator valve 71, the
The regulator valve 71 is a valve that regulates the discharge pressure of the
The
The clamping
FIG. 3 shows characteristics of the line pressure P L , the clutch modulator pressure Pcm, the clutch control pressure, and the secondary pressure with respect to the solenoid pressure Psls. The line pressure P L is adjusted to a hydraulic pressure substantially proportional to the solenoid pressure Psls. The clutch modulator pressure Pcm is the same as the line pressure P L until the solenoid pressure Psls reaches a predetermined value, and is controlled to a constant pressure when the pressure exceeds the predetermined value. Further, since the solenoid pressure Psls is directly supplied to the reverse brake B1 or the direct coupling clutch C1 in a transient state, the clutch control pressure becomes the solenoid pressure Psls itself. The secondary pressure is proportional to the solenoid pressure Psls and is adjusted to a hydraulic pressure slightly lower than the hydraulic line pressure P L. As shown in FIG. 3, the line pressure, the clutch control pressure, and the secondary pressure are all controlled by the linear solenoid valve SLS, but the secondary pressure is always set to exceed the clutch control pressure. The secondary pressure is detected by the
Here, the engagement control of the starting clutch (B1) at the time of idle stop return (engine restart) in the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 4 shows changes over time in the engine speed, belt clamping pressure, and clutch hydraulic pressure.
For example, in the D range, when the idle stop returns at time t1, the engine speed starts to increase due to cranking. Subsequently, the belt transmission torque is calculated based on the secondary pressure detected by the
At the end of the cranking period, the engine completes explosion and the engine speed increases rapidly. When the belt clamping pressure (which may be the secondary pressure) exceeds the predetermined value R1 at time t5, the belt slip prevention control is terminated, and the pressure increase control for stepwise increasing the target clutch pressure to a pressure higher than the initial pressure is constant. Only the time Δt (t5 to t6) is performed. This target pressure increase value is a pressure that is higher than the initial pressure by a fixed value or a fixed rate and lower than the final fastening pressure. The pressure increase period Δt may be, for example, 100 to 200 ms, but may be varied depending on the accelerator opening or the oil temperature. By this pressure increase control, the timing at which the actual clutch pressure rises to the initial pressure is earlier than in the conventional case (shown by a broken line), and the time lag can be shortened. At time t6, the pressure increase period ends, and the initial pressure control is started. The initial pressure is the same as the conventional pressure and continues until time t3.
By performing the pressure increase control, not only the response of the actual clutch pressure is improved, but also the response of the belt clamping pressure is improved. That is, immediately after the complete explosion of the engine, the line pressure does not increase to a predetermined hydraulic pressure, and the secondary pressure does not increase to the predetermined hydraulic pressure. In such a transient state, the pressure increase control is performed to temporarily increase the belt clamping pressure, thereby improving the pressure-bonding force between the belt and the pulley and suppressing the belt slip even when the engine torque is excessive.
After time t3, pressure increase control (sweep control) is performed at a constant time gradient from the initial pressure, and the engagement is almost completed at time t4. Therefore, the maximum hydraulic pressure is supplied to the starting clutch to complete engagement. As described above, since the continuously variable transmission does not include the turbine rotation speed sensor, the end time (t3) of the initial pressure control and the end time (t4) of the sweep control are set by time control. When the turbine rotational speed sensor is provided, the input / output rotational speed of the start clutch can be detected, and the times t3 and t4 can be determined by comparing the rotational speeds.
FIG. 5 is a flowchart of an example of engagement control of the starting clutch at the time of idling stop return. When starting, it is determined whether or not an idle stop return condition (engine restart condition) is satisfied (step S1). If the return condition is not satisfied, the idle stop is continued (step S2). When the return condition is satisfied, the hydraulic pressure (secondary pressure) of the
Next, a target clutch pressure is set so that the clutch transmission torque does not exceed the calculated belt transmission torque (step S5), and the target clutch pressure is set as a target value to the linear solenoid valve SLS to control the clutch pressure. To do. That is, belt slip prevention control is performed (step S6). In this belt slip prevention control, the clutch pressure corresponding to the belt transmission torque is controlled with a guard as an upper limit value, so that belt slippage can be reliably prevented.
Next, it is determined whether or not the belt transmission torque exceeds a predetermined value R1 (step S7). If not, the process returns to step S3. If it exceeds, the initial pressure is increased stepwise. Then, pressure increase control is performed (step S8). After this pressure increase control is continued for a predetermined time Δt (step S9), the process proceeds to initial pressure control (step S10). Next, the initial pressure control is performed until the time t3 after returning from the idle stop (step S11), and then the control shifts to the sweep control (step S12). Then, sweep control is performed until time t4 from the idle stop return (step S13), and engagement completion control is performed at time t4 (step S14). In the engagement completion control, since the
The hydraulic circuit of the starting clutch is not limited to those shown in FIGS. In particular, when starting at the same time as returning from the idle stop, the configuration is arbitrary as long as it can supply hydraulic pressure substantially proportional to the command current to the solenoid valve to the starting clutch. FIG. 2 shows an example in which the same linear solenoid valve SLS is used to perform secondary pressure control (belt clamping pressure control), start clutch engagement control, and line pressure control. However, the present invention is not limited to this. Each hydraulic control may be performed using individual solenoid valves.
