Description
The present invention relates to a run-flat tire assembly capable of improving riding comfort in a state where air pressure is properly filled by improving a core body.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, run flat tires that enable stable traveling when air pressure is reduced due to puncture or the like during traveling are known. As such a run-flat tire, there are a tire in which a reinforcing rubber layer is disposed on the inside of the tire in a sidewall portion and a tire in which a core body is mounted inside the tire.
However, the run-flat tire provided with the reinforcing rubber layer has a problem in that the rigidity of the sidewall portion is increased, so that the riding comfort during normal running in which the air pressure in the lumen is sufficiently maintained is lowered. Further, as shown in FIG. 9, in the run flat tire assembly t equipped with the core body a, the height in the tire radial direction of the core body a is formed relatively large. There is a problem that the tread portion b interferes with the core body a due to unevenness of the road surface, and the riding comfort is lowered. Related technologies include the following.
The present invention has been devised in view of the above problems, and compresses and fixes a coiled elastic body to a rim, and extends the coiled elastic body in the tire radial direction only when the air pressure decreases. The main object is to provide a run-flat tire assembly that can improve the riding comfort during normal driving.
The invention according to claim 1 of the present invention includes a tire, a rim to which the tire is assembled, and a core body that supports the load of the tire when the air pressure in a lumen surrounded by the rim and the tire is reduced. The rim has an annular well that is provided between a pair of rim base portions that receive the bottom surface of the bead portion of the tire and that is recessed inward in the radial direction, and the core body. Includes a loading plate fixed to the well, at least one coiled elastic body which is fixed to the loading plate only at one end side and extends in the tire radial direction, and compresses the coiled elastic body in the tire radial direction. And a core unit having a fastener that is fixed to the loading plate in a contracted state and a cutting tool that cuts the fastener as the air pressure decreases.
The invention according to claim 2 is the run-flat tire assembly according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of the core units are provided in the tire circumferential direction.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the run flat tire assembly according to the first or second aspect, a plurality of coiled elastic bodies arranged in the width direction of the well are provided on the loading plate of the core unit. It is.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the coiled elastic body, the apparent volume Ve in the stretched state is 5 to 100 times the apparent volume Vs in the contracted state. The run-flat tire assembly described.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, the coiled elastic body has a spring constant of 0.1 to 10.0 N / mm, a wire diameter of 0.5 to 2.0 mm, and a number of turns of 5 to 50. The run flat tire assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 4.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, the cutting tool is a projecting piece that protrudes radially outward from the loading plate, and the fastener is wound around the projecting piece while the air pressure decreases. The run-flat tire assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the run-flat tire assembly is a thread-like body that is sandwiched and cut between a tread portion pushed inward in the radial direction and the protruding piece.
The run-flat tire assembly of the present invention includes a loading plate fixed to a well, at least one coiled elastic body that is fixed to the loading plate only at one end and extends in the tire radial direction, and the coiled elasticity. A core body including a core unit having a fastener that is fixed to the loading plate in a state where the body is compressed and contracted in a tire radial direction, and a cutting tool that cuts the fastener as the air pressure decreases. In such a run-flat tire assembly, when the air pressure in the lumen is sufficiently maintained, the coiled elastic body is fixed to the well in a compressed state by the fastener. Therefore, the height of the core body in the tire radial direction can be reduced, and interference between the tread portion and the core body can be prevented. Therefore, riding comfort does not deteriorate. Further, when the air pressure in the lumen decreases, the fastener is cut by the cutting tool, and the coiled elastic body extends in the tire radial direction. Since this extended coil-like elastic body supports the load of the tire, run-flat performance is ensured.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the run-flat tire assembly 1 includes a tire 2, a
The pneumatic tire 2 of the present embodiment is arranged in a
The
In the present embodiment, the belt layer 7 is composed of two inner and
The
The
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the
The run-flat tire assembly 1 including the
When the air pressure in the lumen i is remarkably reduced (hereinafter, simply referred to as “internal pressure lowering state”), the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
As shown in FIG. 2, it is densely arranged in the tire circumferential direction and fixed to the
As shown in FIG. 4, a recessed
The
Since the coiled
As shown in FIG. 3, the thickness t1 of the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the coiled
In the coiled
The coiled
For example, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the coiled
When the coiled
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
The
In order to stabilize the position of the
In the present embodiment, the cutting
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 7 in time series, when the air pressure in the inner hole i decreases, the
In order to effectively exhibit the above-described cutting action, the cross-sectional area of the
As shown in FIG. 3, in the
Further, FIG. 8 shows a perspective view of the lumen i of the assembly 1 after run-flat running. Since a plurality of
n≧V・c/Ve
The required number n of the coiled
n ≧ V · c / Ve
If the safety factor c is too small, the run-flat performance may not be ensured. On the other hand, if the safety factor c is too large, the tire mass becomes too large and the riding comfort in a normal internal pressure state may be deteriorated. From such a viewpoint, the safety factor is preferably 1 or more, more preferably 1.5 or more, and preferably 10 or less, more preferably 8 or less.
As mentioned above, although the especially preferable embodiment of this invention was explained in full detail, this invention is not limited to embodiment of illustration, It can deform | transform and implement in a various aspect.

The mileage was measured. The distance of Comparative Example 1 was evaluated by an index where the distance was 100. The larger the value, the better the run flat durability performance.
Table 1 shows the test results.
As a result of the test, it was confirmed that the examples had improved riding comfort in a state where the air pressure was sufficiently maintained, and were excellent in run-flat durability performance.
