Description
The present invention relates to a radiation curable liquid resin composition for optical three-dimensional modeling and a three-dimensional model obtained by photocuring the same.
By repeating the process of selectively irradiating a radiation-curable liquid substance (liquid resin composition) to form a cured resin layer, a three-dimensional shape formed by integrally laminating the cured resin layer is formed. Optical three-dimensional modeling methods are known (see
Conventionally, as a radiation curable liquid resin composition used in an optical three-dimensional modeling method, many resin compositions are known. From the viewpoint of a balance between high curability and shape stability of a modeled object, radical polymerization is performed. A resin composition (see
The three-dimensional object obtained by such a three-dimensional modeling method has been frequently used as a shape confirmation model for examining the design of machine device parts and the like. However, as a recent market trend, there is an increasing demand for transparent parts and the like obtained by the three-dimensional modeling method, and to see through the internal mechanical operation, and it is a solid, highly transparent and excellent heat resistance. There is a need for modeling resins.
However, in the conventional composition, a resin that is judged to be excellent in transparency from the value of total light transmittance and the like has been obtained, but the three-dimensional structure has a yellow or blue color due to the large wavelength dependency of the transmittance. It has a drawback that it is difficult to say that it is colorless and transparent.
On the other hand, as a cationic polymerization initiator, a photoacid generator having an antimony atom having excellent curing performance has been frequently used, but it does not contain an antimony atom in consideration of safety to the human body and a load on the natural environment. An optical modeling resin using a photoacid generator has also been reported (Patent Document 7). However, when a photoacid generator that does not contain an antimony atom is used as the cationic polymerization initiator, it is often inferior in curability compared to the case where a photoacid generator having an antimony atom is used. There existed a tendency for the heat resistance of a three-dimensional molded item to fall.
An object of the present invention is for optical three-dimensional modeling, in which the storage stability of a resin liquid is good and a three-dimensional modeled object with high accuracy can be obtained, and a three-dimensional modeled object that is colorless and transparent and excellent in heat resistance can be obtained. It is to provide a radiation-curable liquid resin composition.

The content of the component (C) in the composition of the present invention is usually 0.1 to 25% by mass, preferably 0.1 to 15% by mass, with the total amount of the composition being 100% by mass. By adding the component (C), the radiation curability of the resulting resin composition is improved, and the three-dimensional shape to be shaped tends to be less likely to be deformed over time, but the content is 25% by mass. Exceeding this is inconvenient in that the impact resistance and fracture toughness of the three-dimensionally shaped product are reduced.
(D) Component The (D) component used in the composition of the present invention is an onium salt composed of a monovalent sulfonium ion having an aromatic structure and an anion represented by (PR 3 6 ) − . Here, each R 3 is independently a fluorine atom or a fluorinated alkyl group, and at least one R 3 is a fluorinated alkyl group.
The component (D) is a photoacid generator that generates radiation by absorbing radiation, and is blended to polymerize the cationically polymerizable compound of the component (A) or the component (B).
Since the component (D) is a photoacid generator that does not contain an antimony atom and contains a phosphorus atom, it has the advantage of being less toxic to the human body and less environmentally damaging. When a photoacid generator having an antimony atom is used, the resulting three-dimensional structure tends to be strongly yellowish, but by using the component (D), the yellowness is lower and the color tone is almost colorless. A three-dimensional model can be obtained.
The component (D) obtained as a commercial product may contain a large amount of a divalent sulfonium salt having an aromatic structure composed of a dimer or the like of the component (D). The divalent sulfonium salt having an aromatic structure tends to increase the viscosity of the liquid resin composition over time and reduce storage stability. For this reason, the content of the divalent sulfonium salt having an aromatic structure contained in the composition of the present invention needs to be 1/20 (mass ratio) or less of the content of the component (D). is there.
The component (D) is preferably a compound having a structure represented by the following formula (2).
In the formula (2), (PR 3 6 ) − is preferably (PF 6-m (C n F 2n + 1 ) m ) − (where m is an integer of 1 to 5, and n is 1 to 4 It is an integer.)
When the component (D) is a compound having a structure represented by the above formula (2), the content of the compound having a structure represented by the following formula (3) contained in the composition of the present invention is The content of the compound having the structure represented by the above formula (2) needs to be 1/20 (mass ratio) or less.
Moreover, since (D) component has the photocurability excellent similarly to the photo-acid generator which has an antimony atom because an anion part has a fluorinated alkyl group, the three-dimensional molded item which has the outstanding heat resistance is used. Can be obtained. Unlike the component (D), when the anion portion of the above formula (2) is PF 6 , the curability is lower than when the photoacid generator of the component (D) is used. Curing becomes inadequate and heat resistance falls.
(D) As a commercial item of a component, CPI-200K and CPI-200S (made by San Apro) can be mentioned.
Content of (D) component in this invention is 0.1-10 mass% normally by making the composition whole quantity into 100 mass%, Preferably it is 0.2-8 mass%, More preferably, it is 1-8 mass%. It is. When the content ratio of the component (D) is less than 0.1% by mass, the radiation curability of the obtained resin composition is lowered, and a three-dimensional object having sufficient mechanical strength cannot be formed. On the other hand, when it exceeds 10% by mass, when the obtained resin composition is subjected to an optical three-dimensional modeling method, appropriate light transmittance cannot be obtained, and it becomes difficult to control the curing depth, and the resulting three-dimensional solid is obtained. There exists a tendency for the modeling precision of a shaped object to fall.
(E)成分

Of these, benzyldimethyl ketal, 1-hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone, 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyldiphenylphosphine oxide, 2-benzyl-2-dimethylamino-1- (4-morpholinophenyl) -butane-1- On or the like is particularly preferable. Said radical polymerization initiator can comprise (E) component individually by 1 type or in combination of 2 or more types.
The content of the component (E) in the composition of the present invention is usually 0.01 to 10% by mass, preferably 0.1 to 5% by mass, with the total amount of the composition being 100% by mass. (E) When the content rate of a component is less than 0.01 mass%, the radical polymerization reaction rate (curing rate) of the resin composition obtained becomes low, and time is required for modeling, or the resolution decreases. There is a tendency to do. On the other hand, when the content ratio of the component (E) exceeds 10% by mass, an excessive amount of the polymerization initiator deteriorates the curing characteristics of the resin composition or adversely affects the moisture resistance and heat resistance of the three-dimensionally shaped product. Sometimes.

That is, an optical solid that supplies the energy required for curing by selectively irradiating the radiation-curable liquid resin composition of the present invention with light such as visible light, ultraviolet light, infrared light or other radiation. A three-dimensional object having a desired shape can be manufactured by the modeling method.
If the radiation curable liquid resin composition for optical three-dimensional modeling of the present invention is used, the storage stability of the resin liquid is good, the modeling accuracy is high, the yellowness is low, the color tone is nearly colorless, and the heat resistance It is possible to manufacture a three-dimensional model that is excellent in the quality.
II.
II. Solid modeling object The three-dimensional modeling object of this invention can be obtained by irradiating light to the said composition of this invention.
The means for selectively irradiating the composition of the present invention with light is not particularly limited, and various means can be employed. For example, a laser beam or means for irradiating the composition while scanning convergent light obtained using a lens, mirror, etc., and a mask having a light transmission part of a predetermined pattern are used, and non-convergence is performed through this mask. Use a means for irradiating the composition with light, a light guide member formed by bundling a large number of optical fibers, and a means for irradiating the composition with light via an optical fiber corresponding to a predetermined pattern in the light guide member. Can do. In the means using a mask, a mask that electro-optically forms a mask image composed of a light transmission region and a light non-transmission region according to a predetermined pattern according to a principle similar to that of a liquid crystal display device is used. You can also. In the above, when the target three-dimensional object has fine portions or high dimensional accuracy is required, a laser beam with a small spot diameter is used as a means for selectively irradiating the composition with light. It is preferable to employ means for scanning. The light irradiation surface (for example, the convergent light scanning plane) in the resin composition housed in the container is either the liquid surface of the resin composition or the contact surface with the vessel wall of the translucent container. May be. When the liquid surface of the resin composition or the contact surface with the container wall is used as the light irradiation surface, the light can be irradiated directly from the outside of the container or through the container wall.
In the above-mentioned optical three-dimensional modeling method, usually, after curing a specific part of the resin composition, the light irradiation position (irradiation surface) is moved continuously or stepwise from the already cured part to the uncured part. By doing so, the cured portion is laminated to obtain a desired three-dimensional shape. Here, the irradiation position can be moved by various methods. For example, either the light source, the container for the resin composition, or the cured part of the resin composition is moved, or the resin composition is added to the container. The method of supply etc. can be mentioned. To explain a typical example of the optical three-dimensional modeling method, a support stage provided so as to be movable up and down in the storage container is lowered (sedimented) by a minute amount from the liquid surface of the resin composition. A thin layer (1) of the resin composition is formed. Next, the thin cured layer (1) is formed by selectively irradiating the thin layer (1) with light. Next, the support stage is again lowered (sedimented) by a small amount to form a thin layer (2) of the radiation curable liquid resin composition on the cured resin layer (1), and this thin layer (2 ) Is selectively irradiated with light to form a new cured resin layer (2) on the cured resin layer (1) so as to be laminated continuously and integrally therewith. Then, by repeating this process a predetermined number of times with or without changing the pattern irradiated with light, a three-dimensional object formed by integrally laminating a plurality of cured resin layers (n) is formed.
The three-dimensionally shaped product thus obtained is taken out from the container, and after removing the unreacted resin composition remaining on the surface, the solid shaped product is washed as necessary. Here, as the cleaning agent, alcohol-based organic solvents typified by alcohols such as isopropyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol; ketone-based organic solvents typified by acetone, ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, etc .; aliphatics typified by terpenes Organic solvents; low viscosity thermosetting resins and radiation curable resins. In addition, after washing | cleaning with a cleaning agent, you may post-cure by heat irradiation or light irradiation as needed. Post-cure can cure unreacted resin composition that may remain on the surface and inside of the three-dimensional object, and can suppress the stickiness of the surface of the object, and improve the initial strength of the object. Can be made.

From the results in Table 1, each example has good heat resistance represented by Tg (glass transition temperature) and HDT (heat distortion temperature), and transparency represented by yellowness and color tone is also good. High-precision three-dimensional modeling with small warpage was possible, and the resin liquid storage stability was also good. In Example 3 , in which the color tone was compensated by adding a pigment / dye or the like, the yellowness value decreased, and the color tone changed from pale yellow to pale purple. On the other hand, in Comparative Examples 1 and 2 in which the content of the component (A) is zero or too low, heat resistance is secured to some extent by substituting the component (A) with the component (B), but the transparency is poor. It was. In Comparative Example 3 in which the content of the component (A) is excessive, the transparency tends to decrease, the crosslinking density in the three-dimensional model is excessive, and a large warp of the model is observed. Comparative Examples 4 to 6 are examples in which the photoacid generator does not correspond to the component (D). In Comparative Example 4 using a photoacid generator that is non-antimony but has a different anion moiety structure, the curability is insufficient, so that the cross-linking density in the three-dimensional structure is low and the heat resistance is lowered. In Comparative Example 5, the structure of the photoacid generator is the same as that of Comparative Example 4, but since the content of the dimer of the photoacid generator is high, in addition to the decrease in heat resistance, the storage stability of the resin liquid is also improved. Declined. In Comparative Example 6 using an antimony photoacid generator, heat resistance was ensured due to high curability, but the yellowness increased and the color tone was also biased to yellow.
