Description
本願はSteve O. Mork外により2003年10月17日出願のダイバータバルブ組立体に係る先の米国仮特許出願第60/512,233号の優先権を主張する。この先願の全開示内容がここに参考として組み込まれる。
第一入口チャンネルから第一出口チャンネルへ、または第二入口チャンネルから第一出口チャンネルへ、可動ディスクと回転により接触する固定ディスクを使用して、流体の流れを分流し、
前記可動ディスクは、弁棒の回転が前記可動ディスクを前記固定ディスクに対して回転させるように、前記弁棒に作動可能に連結され、かつ
前記可動ディスクは、第一入口が第一出口と流体的に連通する第一位置、および第二入口が第一出口と流体的に連通する第二位置を含む複数の位置間で回転可能である、ことを特徴とする。

Claims (16)
- 第一入口、第一出口、第二入口および第二出口を含む弁体、
固定ディスク、
前記固定ディスクと回転により接触する可動ディスク、
弁棒、および、
前記弁体の内部に形成され、前記第一入口および前記第二出口と流体的に連通する通路を含み、
前記弁棒は、前記弁棒の回転が前記固定ディスクに対して前記可動ディスクを回転させるように、作動可能に前記可動ディスクに連結され、かつ
前記可動ディスクは、第一入口が第一出口と流体的に連通する第一位置、および第二入口が第一出口と流体的に連通する第二位置を含む複数の位置間で回転可能であり、
前記通路は、前記可動ディスクが第一位置のときに第一出口と流体的に連通する、ダイバータバルブ。 - 前記弁体内に設置されかつ第一入口を通る流体の流れを調節することのできる流れ調節器を更に含む、請求項1のダイバータバルブ。
- 前記弁体内に設置されかつ第一入口を通る流体の逆流を阻止することのできる逆止弁を更に含む、請求項1のダイバータバルブ。
- 前記可動ディスクおよび前記固定ディスクの少なくとも一方がセラミック材により形成されている、請求項1のダイバータバルブ。
- 弁室を含む弁箱を更に含み、前記固定ディスクおよび前記可動ディスクは前記弁室内に設置されている、請求項1のダイバータバルブ。
- 第二入口および第一入口は、前記可動ディスクが第一位置と第二位置間を移動するときに第一出口と流体的に連通する、請求項1のダイバータバルブ。
- 前記弁棒はタブを含み、かつ前記可動ディスクは前記タブと係合するスロットを有し、かつ前記タブと前記スロットとの係合は、前記弁棒の回転の結果として、前記可動ディスクの回転を可能にする、請求項1のダイバータバルブ。
- 前記弁棒は突起を含み、かつ前記可動ディスクは前記突起と係合するリセスを有し、かつ前記突起と前記リセスとの係合は、前記弁棒の回転の結果として、前記可動ディスクの回転を可能にする、請求項1のダイバータバルブ。
- 前記弁棒は一部が弁室内に設置され、かつ一部が弁室の外側に設置されている、請求項5のダイバータバルブ。
- 前記弁箱は一つまたはそれ以上のスロットを含み、かつ前記固定ディスクは一つまたはそれ以上の前記スロットと係合する一つまたはそれ以上のタブを含み、かつ一つまたはそれ以上のタブと一つまたはそれ以上の前記スロットと係合は、前記固定ディスクが前記弁室内で回転するのを阻止する、請求項5のダイバータバルブ。
- 第二入口および第二出口のいずれか一方を通る流体の流れを測定する流量計を更に含む、請求項1のダイバータバルブ。
- 前記流量計に作動可能に連結された流量計センサを更に含み、前記流量計センサは前記流量計と共働して、第二入口および第二出口の少なくとも一方を通る流体の流れを測定する、請求項8のダイバータバルブ。
- 第一入口チャンネル、第一出口チャンネル、第二入口チャンネル、および第二出口チャンネルを含む弁体の第一入口チャンネルへ流体を供給し、かつ
第一入口チャンネルから第一出口チャンネルへ、可動ディスクと回転により接触する固定ディスクを使用して、前記弁体の内部に形成された、前記第一入口および前記第二出口と流体的に連通する通路を介して、流体の流れを規定し、または、第二入口チャンネルから第一出口チャンネルへ、可動ディスクと回転により接触する固定ディスクを使用して、流体の流れを規定し、
前記可動ディスクは、弁棒の回転が前記可動ディスクを前記固定ディスクに対して回転させるように、前記弁棒に作動可能に連結され、かつ
前記可動ディスクは、第一入口が第一出口と流体的に連通する第一位置、および第二入口が第一出口と流体的に連通する第二位置を含む複数の位置間で回転可能である、流体の流れを分流する方法。 - 流れ調節器を使用して第一入口を通る流体の流れを調節することを更に含む、請求項13の方法。
- 逆止弁を使用して第一出口を通る流体の逆流を阻止することを更に含む、請求項13の方法。
- 流量計を使用して第二入口および第二出口の少なくとも一方を通る流れを測定することを更に含む、請求項13の方法。
