Description
上記織編物が、横方向に限界まで伸長された状態でセットされた織編物であって、熱融着弾性糸を含むものであることを特徴とする接着テープ。
図1は、本発明の接着テープ1の構造を示している。芯層2の片面にホットメルト層3が積層され、その反対側の面に熱融着弾性糸を含む織編物4が積層される。
本発明では、テープに弾性を持たせることを目的として、芯層に弾性フィルムを使用する。
使用する弾性フィルムとしては、塩ビ系フィルム、スチレン系フィルム等が用いられるが、中でも、ポリウレタン系フィルムが好ましく、特に、歪みの少ないポリウレタンフィルムが好適に用いられる。
接着テープのホットメルト層としては、通常、用いられるものであれば、特に制限無く使用することができる。例えば、ポリウレタン系ホットメルト樹脂、ポリアミド系ホットメルト樹脂、EVA系ホットメルト樹脂、ポリオレフィン系ホットメルト樹脂、スチレン系ホットメルト樹脂等が挙げられる。中でも、ポリウレタン系ホットメルト樹脂を用いるのが好ましい。
ホットメルト層の溶融開始温度としては、90〜150℃が好ましい。
本発明の接着テープに用いる織編物(布帛)4としては、織物・編地のいずれでも良いが、経方向への伸縮性を得られやすいことから編地を用いるのが好ましい。
なお、織物を使用する場合には、緯方向に対する伸縮性がほとんど無いため、本発明の目的である「目開き」を抑えることもできるが、経方向に対する伸縮性もほとんど無く、衣類へ適用した際の伸縮性に乏しいため、好ましくない。
弾性フィルムに積層できる編地であれば、緯編(平編、ゴム編、パール編など)、経編(デンビー編、コード編など)、鎖編、ラッシェル、パワーネット編等、公知の組織であればいずれでも良いが、縦横の伸長性を得られやすい経編地が好ましく、プレーンコード編として非弾性糸、デンビー編として熱融着弾性糸を用いた経編地が更に好ましく、中でも、その非弾性糸と弾性糸とを同行させた経編地が、異行させる場合に比べて編地自体の緯への伸縮を抑えることができるため、特に好ましい。
本発明においては、熱融着性を有する弾性糸(熱融着弾性糸)を使用する。熱融着弾性糸を使用することによって熱セット性が格段に向上し、横に伸ばしながらセットすると、縦に対する伸長性能を有したまま、横に対する伸長性能は大幅に低減させることができる。こうすることにより、衣類に接着テープとして使用した場合、縦のストレッチ性は残したまま、その接着部位の横伸びを抑制することが可能となり、生地と生地との接着部位にすき間(目開き)が生じるのを抑えることができる。また、シートをスリットして接着テープを作製する場合、従来であれば、そのスリットされた織編物の端部にほつれが発生したり、カールを生じたりする問題があったが、熱融着弾性糸を用いることにより、そのようなほつれやカールを大幅に低減させることもできる。
熱融着弾性糸としては、熱融着性の良好なものであれば何ら制限することなく使用することができるが、なかでも、熱融着性ポリウレタン弾性糸が好ましく、例えば、日清紡績社製、モビロンR等が好適に使用できる。
繊度としては、10〜300dtex、特に20〜40dtex程度の熱融着弾性糸を用いるのが好ましい。
熱融着弾性糸と共用する糸としては、ポリエステル、ナイロン等、特に制限無く使用することができるが、耐熱性の点からは、ポリエステルが好ましい。染色する場合には、特に、常圧カチオン可染ポリエステル糸(カチオン糸)を用いることが好ましい。カチオン糸を用いることで、接着テープに積層された編地から、貼付された布地への色移り(移行昇華)を防止することができる。
接着テープとして使用するために、編地自体を薄く作製することが好ましいため、この相手糸の繊度としては、10〜300dtex、特に30〜40dtex程度が好適である。
熱融着弾性糸の織編物に対する混率は、10〜50%、好ましくは25〜35%とするのが好ましい。この範囲とすることによって、接着テープの縦伸長性能を適度に与えることができ、かつ、効果的に熱セットすることができるために横伸長を抑えることができる。
染色などの加工を均一に行うため、精練する。精練の条件等については、周知の方法を使用することができる。
上記精練により収縮した編地を、必要に応じ、ピンテンター等のセット機を用いて、プレセットする。プレセットの条件としては、乾熱130〜210℃で、10〜180秒程度である。編地を、横方向に限界まで伸長された状態でプレセットすることにより、最終的に横への伸長を極力抑えることのできる編地を得ることができる。
必要に応じ、プレセットされた編地を染色する。染色条件については、適宜、公知の範囲で処理することができる。
染色を施した編地に対し、必要に応じ、再度、横方向に限界まで伸長された状態でファイナルセットを行う。セット条件は、通常、乾熱130〜210℃で、10〜180秒程度である。
この処理により、横への伸長を極力抑えた編地を得ることができる。
セットに使用する機器としては、ピンテンター等、公知のものであれば、どのようなものでも使用することができる。
本発明の接着テープ1は、芯層2である弾性フィルムに、ホットメルト層3及び織編物4を積層するものである。
まず、弾性フィルム2とホットメルト層3の積層については、現在、公知の方法を種々使用することができる。例えば、Tダイを用いて押出成型したり、ラミネート成形したりすることができる。
積層の方法としては、周知の方法を用いることができるが、例えば、転写ラミネート方式(ドライラミ)、ドットラミネート方式(湿気硬化PUR)等を用いることができる。
更に、ホットメルト層3側に、離型紙を設ける場合もある。
上記のように積層されたシートを、例えば、幅10〜15mm程度にスリットする。スリットする方法としては、周知の方法が使用でき、例えば、コルテック社製のロールカッター(CX310A)を用いることができる。
本発明の接着テープは、生地部品同士を接合するものである。
図2に示すように、生地部品5の突き合わせ部を、本発明の接着テープで接合する。接着部位については、縫製する場合と違って、凹凸感が無く、見た目もすっきりとしたものにすることができる。
具体的には、生地部品と生地部品を接合したい端部で突き合わせ、その突き合わせ部に、接着テープを置き、その上から、熱風式溶着機などで熱を掛けることとなる。
また、その他の方法として、合繊系生地同士を超音波で接合し、その接合した部分を接着テープで補強するといった製造方法もある。
1.弾性フィルムの形成
弾性フィルムとして、4,4−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、ポリテトラメチレンエーテルグリコール、1,4−ブタンジオール、1,6−ヘキサンジオール等からなる日清紡製モビロンフィルム(MF60T−MX)を使用した。
ホットメルト樹脂として、ポリブチレンアジペート、4,4−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、1,4−ブタンジオールからなるフレーク状の樹脂を用い、スリットダイを取り付けた押出成形機により、上記1.の弾性フィルム上に、ホットメルト層を積層した。
28ゲージのトリコット編機を用いて、常圧カチオン可染ポリエステル糸(三菱レーヨンテキスタイル社製、商品名 ソルーナ)33dtex36フィラメントのプレーンコード組織と、熱融着ポリウレタン弾性糸44dtex(日清紡績社製、商品名 モビロンR)を用いた同行するデンビー組織(使用比率:ポリエステル糸68%、ポリウレタン弾性糸32%)とで構成される生地(図3)を作製し、その編地密度が35ウェールとなるよう、生地の横幅を最大伸長幅まで伸長させ、熱セット(170℃、60秒)を施した。この編地は、その最大伸長でほとんど完全にセットされており、横伸びの発生しないものであった。
弾性フィルムのホットメルト層を施していない面に、上記3.で作製した編地をドットラミネート方式により積層し、ロールカッター(コルテック社製、CX310A)を用いて、縦方向に幅10mmにスリットし、接着テープを作製した。
熱セット時に編地を伸長させた場合の編地密度を55ウェールとし、限界まで伸長した状態でセットしなかった以外は、実施例1と同様にして、接着テープを作製した。
織編物として、ラッセルタイプの編機を使用し、ナイロン22デシテックス7フィラメント糸のプレーンコード組織及びデンビー組織と、ポリウレタン弾性糸156デシテックスの挿入組織とで構成される生地(図4)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、接着テープを作製した。
熱融着ポリウレタン弾性糸の代わりに、通常のポリウレタン弾性糸を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、接着テープを作製した。
織編物として、ラッセルタイプの編機を使用し、ポリエステル56デシテックス24フィラメント糸のチュール組織と、ポリウレタン弾性糸156デシテックスの挿入組織とで構成されたパワーネット編地(図5)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、接着テープを作製した。
(1)カール性
作製した接着テープを300mm切り出し、常温下で10分放置した後のカールの発生有無を、目視で確認した。
○:テープにカール無し
×:テープにカール有り
作製した接着テープのテープ側部を目視で観察し、そのほつれを確認した。
○:テープ側部にほつれ無し
△:テープ側部に多少のほつれが見られた
×:テープ側部にほつれ有り
2枚の編地を、作製した接着テープで接合する。
編地は、トリコット生地(縦10cm、横10cm)を用いる。
この2枚の生地を、端部がぴったりと沿うように配置し、その端部を沿わせた部分に上記接着テープを配置し、その上から140℃に設定したホットプレス(QUEEN LIGHT ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIES社製 QHP−H20R)で接着テープを押さえ付けて、ホットメルト層を融着させ、2枚の編地を接合させた。
その接合部の裏面から編地を観察し、風合いを確認した。
○:熱溶着品に「あたり」無し
×:熱溶着品に「あたり」有り
なお、「あたり」は、貼着した積層テープの感触が表生地に現れている状態をいう。
作製した接着テープを、引張り試験機(東洋ボールドウイン社製 TENSILON/UTM−III−100)を用いて、引張り速度300mm/minで縦方向に伸長させ、それぞれ10%、50%までテープを伸長させた時の応力を測定した。また、50%まで伸張させた後、応力を0まで戻した時の歪み(%)を測定した。
作製した接着テープを、引張り試験機(東洋ボールドウイン社製TENSILON/UTM−III−100)を用いて、引張り速度300mm/minで縦方向に伸長させ、接着テープが破断した時の伸度を測定した。
接着テープをシーリングマシン(クインライト電子精工社製熱風式溶着機QHP−805)を用いて2枚の小松精錬社製3層防水布の突き合わせ部にヒーター温度455℃、ロール温度110℃、エアー圧力0.7kgf/cm2、ローラー圧力2.0kgf/cm2の条件にて貼り付け、貼り付け試料は引っ張り速度50mm/minで突き合わせ部と垂直方向に伸張させ、突き合わせ部が目開きした時の強度を測定した。
一方、比較例1は、編地を限界まで伸長した状態でセットしていないため、目開き時強度が小さく、目開きの発生するものであった。また、比較例2は、ポリウレタン弾性糸を挿入糸として用いているため、緯方向に対する伸びは抑えられるものであるが、スリットされたテープ端部にカールやほつれが発生してしまうものであった。さらに、比較例3は、熱融着糸ではなく、通常糸を使用しているためにほつれが発生し、そのセット率が悪く、比較的小さな力でも目開きが発生してしまうものであった。比較例4は、いわゆるパワーネット編地であるため、ほつれの生じにくいものであるが、目開きに対しては、耐性の悪いものであった。

Claims (5)
- 弾性フィルムを芯層とし、片面にホットメルト樹脂を積層し、他面に織編物を積層してなる接着テープにおいて、
上記織編物が、横方向に限界まで伸長された状態でセットされた織編物であって、熱融着弾性糸を含むものであり、横方向に限界まで伸長された状態でセットされた織編物は1インチ当たりのウェール数が24〜40ウェールである経編地であることを特徴とする接着テープ。 - 無縫製タイプの衣類に使用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の接着テープ。
- 熱融着弾性糸が、熱融着性ポリウレタン弾性糸であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の接着テープ。
- 弾性フィルムが、ポリウレタンフィルムであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の接着テープ。
- ホットメルト樹脂が、ポリウレタン系ホットメルト樹脂からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の接着テープ。
