次に、映像受信機器10が色信号又はフレームレートのどちらを優先させた映像が送信されるべきであるかを選択する場合に、表示部11が表示する画面の他の例について説明する。図7は、S114(図5)の処理などにおいて、表示部11が表示する画面の第2例である。図7に示すように、表示部11は、スポーツなどの動きが激しい映像のジャンル、自然映像などの動きが少なく色信号を優先可能なジャンル、及び写真静止画のジャンルなどの各ジャンル毎に、過去に設定された色信号(Y,Cr,Cb)とフレームレートとの組合せを表示し、ユーザの過去の選択履歴に応じてユーザの選択を促すように構成されてもよい。また、表示部11は、ユーザが視聴しようとしているコンテンツの属性をコンテンツ情報に応じて表示するとともに、選択カーソル(太実線枠)Cの配置によって推薦される色信号とフレームレートとの組合せを変更可能に表示するように構成されてもよい。推薦される色信号とフレームレートとの組合せは、例えばユーザの過去の選択履歴、又はコンテンツ情報に応じて決められている。

Claims (10)
- 映像を生成する映像生成部と、
色信号又はフレームレートのどちらを優先させた伝送を行うかを特定された特定情報を映像受信機器から受信する受信部と、
前記映像生成部が生成した映像を、色信号又はフレームレートのいずれかを前記特定情報に応じて優先させた映像に変換する変換部と、
変換された前記映像を、第1、第2及び第3の伝送チャネルを有するデジタルインターフェースを介して前記映像受信機器へ出力する出力部であって、前記フレームレートを優先させる場合、映像の4画素につき4つの輝度情報と2つの色差情報を有する4:2:0フォーマットの映像を、前記2つの色差情報を第1の伝送チャネルのみに割り当て、前記4つの輝度情報を前記第2及び前記第3の伝送チャネルのみに割り当てて、2つの輝度情報と1つの色差情報とを同一のクロックタイミングで出力する出力部と、
を有する映像送信機器。 - 前記受信部は、
4:2:2 30Hzモード、4:2:0 60Hzモード及び4:4:4 30Hzモードのいずれかを特定する特定情報を受信する請求項1に記載の映像送信機器。 - 前記変換部は、
