Claims (3)
- 内燃機関の排気が流通する排気通路に配置されて、付着部を備え、その付着部に付着した排気中の粒子状物質の量に相関する相関量を検出する検出部と、
前記付着部を昇温するためのヒータと、
前記ヒータを昇温して前記付着部に付着した粒子状物質を燃焼する再生処理において、前記付着部の温度を目標温度に追従するようにフィードバック制御する制御手段と、
前記付着部に付着した粒子状物質の量が多いほど前記目標温度を低く設定する第1設定手段と、
前記再生処理の開始前に前記検出部により検出された相関量が大きいほど前記再生処理の期間が長くなるように、前記再生処理の開始前に前記再生処理の終了時期を設定する第2設定手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする検出装置。 - 前記第1設定手段は、前記再生処理の開始前に前記検出部により検出された相関量が大きいほど、前記目標温度が低くなるように設定する第3設定手段を備えた請求項1に記載の検出装置。
- 前記排気通路を流通する排気の流量を検出する流量検出手段を備え、
前記第2設定手段は、前記流量検出手段により検出された排気の流量が大きいほど、前記再生処理を実行する期間が長くなるように前記再生処理の終了時期を設定する第4設定手段を備えた請求項1又は2に記載の検出装置。
