Claims (1)
- 先行車に追従して自車を減速停止する追従走行制御装置であって、
自車と前記先行車との車間距離を検出する測距センサと、
自車速に応じた目標車間距離と相対車速とにより自車が安全に停止する減速度を演算する第1減速演算手段と、
前記測距センサにより検出した車間距離と自車速とにより当該車間距離から目標停止距離を減じた距離で停止するのに必要な減速度を演算する第2減速演算手段と、
前記測距センサにより検出した車間距離が短くなるにしたがって前記第2減速演算手段が演算する減速度の割合を多くして前記両減速演算手段の減速度の重み付け加算から減速度を演算する第3減速演算手段と、
前記先行車が減速停止しそれに追従して自車が停止するときに、前記第1減速演算手段が演算する減速度が前記第2減速演算手段の減速度より大きくなる停止直前時に、自車の減速制御を前記第1減速演算手段の減速度に基づく減速制御から前記第3減速演算手段の減速度に基づく減速制御に移行する減速制御手段とを備えたことを特徴とする追従走行制御装置。
