図3は、本発明を適用した表示装置の一実施の形態の構成例を示している。
図4は、画素21の回路構成例を示している。
図5は、画素アレイ部10aの断面図を示している。
図10は、表示装置1における左眼用画素21および右眼用画素21の第1の配列例を示している。
表示装置1では、そのような問題を解決するため、図11に示すような、市松状に左眼用画素21と右眼用画素21を分離する配列が可能である。即ち、図11は、表示装置1による左眼用画素21と右眼用画素21の第2の配列例を示している。
図12および図13は、表示装置1による左眼用画素21と右眼用画素21の第3の配列例を示している。
図14は、表示装置1を有した電子機器の一具体例であるテレビジョン受像機101を示す斜視図である。
Claims (5)
- 自発光素子を有する画素が縦横に複数配列された画素アレイ部と、
隣接する前記画素の境界部の前面において、装置の側面方向からみた断面形状が台形形状となるように、前記画素の自発光素子の周囲から光出射方向に沿って突出するように立設されたリフレクタと
を備え、
左眼用映像を表示する前記画素の前記リフレクタは鑑賞者の左眼に、右眼用映像を表示する前記画素の前記リフレクタは鑑賞者の右眼に光軸中心が向かうよう前記台形形状の傾斜が形成されている
立体映像表示装置。 - 各画素の前記リフレクタの傾斜は、鑑賞者が第1の方向から画面を見た場合に鑑賞者の左眼または右眼に光軸中心が向く方向である左方向と右方向、および、鑑賞者が第1の方向と垂直な第2の方向から画面を見た場合に鑑賞者の左眼または右眼に光軸中心が向く方向である上方向と下方向の4方向のいずれかの傾斜を少なくとも有する
請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 鑑賞者が所定の方向から表示画像を視認した場合に、前記4方向のうち、鑑賞者に視認されない光の指向性を有する前記画素は発光しないように制御する
請求項2に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 左眼用映像を表示する前記画素と、右眼用映像を表示する前記画素が、市松状に配列されている
請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 自発光素子を有する画素を縦横に複数配列し、
隣接する前記画素の境界部の前面において、装置の側面方向からみた断面形状が台形形状となるように、前記画素の自発光素子の周囲から光出射方向に沿って突出するように立設されたリフレクタを形成し、
