Description
The present invention relates to an adapter that can be attached to a meter, and in particular, is installed on the upstream side of a utility using device and measures a utility supply amount supplied to the utility using device, and integration of the measured utility supply amount. The present invention relates to an adapter that includes an integrated amount display unit that displays an amount, and that can be attached to a meter having a configuration in which a supply display line appears on the integrated amount display unit each time a utility of a unit amount is supplied downstream.
In general, when a utility such as gas, electricity, and water is supplied to a utility-using device, the utility supply amount is measured by a meter installed on the upstream side, and charging is performed according to the utility supply amount. In this case, for example, in order to install gas-consuming devices with large gas consumption and promote gas consumption, different fee systems are adopted for each gas-using device. When adopting such a fee structure, it is necessary to determine the gas-using equipment being used.
As described above, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. H10-260628 discloses a flow rate detection unit that outputs a signal at every constant gas flow rate, and a currently used gas based on a signal from the flow rate detection unit. When the current gas usage increases by a predetermined amount, the usage flow corresponding to this increase in usage is provided with an integration calculation unit for calculating the amount and an integration display unit for integrating and displaying the integrated amount of gas used. There is disclosed a gas meter that has an excess flow rate integration unit that integrates the flow rate separately and integrates the usage flow rate corresponding to the increase in use after a predetermined time has elapsed after a constant flow rate increase.
In this gas meter, when the amount of gas used increases by a predetermined amount, it is determined that a specific gas using device is used by comparing this increased amount with the gas usage of a registered specific gas device. The amount of gas used increased by the predetermined amount can be integrated to apply a service fee that matches the usage characteristics of the specific gas-using device.
Further, for example,
In this meter, when the pulse interval measured by the pulse interval measurement unit in the signal processing unit is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold, it is determined that a utility exceeding the reference flow rate is used per unit time, and the reference flow rate is determined as a specific value. By setting the utility usage amount to exceed the utility usage amount per unit time when the utility usage device is used, the usage amount of a specific utility usage device can be estimated from the pulse interval.
However, in the gas meter disclosed in
In the meter disclosed in
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to use existing infrastructure (such as a meter) as it is when adding a function to accurately determine a utility using device used downstream of the meter. An object of the present invention is to provide an adapter that can be mounted relatively easily while suppressing an increase in installation cost.
In order to achieve the above object, the adapter according to the present invention is characterized in that the adapter is installed upstream of the utility using device and measures the utility supply amount supplied to the utility using device, and the measured utility. An integrated amount display unit that displays the integrated amount of the supply amount, and is configured to be attachable to a meter having a configuration in which a supply display line appears in the integrated amount display unit each time the utility of the unit amount is supplied downstream. An optical sensor unit that detects the supply display line displayed on the integrated amount display unit; a pulse generation unit that generates a pulse signal each time the supply display line is detected by the optical sensor unit; and the pulse based on the generated pulse signal generating unit, and a device determination unit for determining the utility use equipment used in the downstream side of the meter, the machine The discriminating unit discriminates the utility-use device used on the downstream side of the meter from the slope of the straight line indicating the relationship between the utility supply time and the utility supply amount as the generation frequency of the pulse signal in the time domain. A storage unit that stores the slope of the straight line as a reference generation frequency that is a generation frequency of the pulse signal obtained based on a utility supply amount per unit time for each of a plurality of types of utility using devices, When the device discriminating unit discriminates the utility using device used on the downstream side of the meter, the straight line as the actual generation frequency that is the generation frequency of the actual pulse signal generated by using the utility using device is determined. Compare the slope and the slope of the straight line as the reference generation frequency, The utility use device corresponding to the slope of the straight line as the reference generation frequency closest to the slope of the straight line as a frequency, lies in the utility use equipment used in the downstream side of the meter.
Here, the meter has a measuring unit for measuring the utility supply amount supplied to the utility using device installed on the downstream side of the meter, and an integrated amount display unit for displaying the integrated amount of the measured utility supply amount. Some integrated amount display units are configured such that a supply display line appears at a predetermined position each time a unit amount utility is supplied downstream. The invention according to the present application is an adapter that can be attached to such an existing meter, and of course, an adapter that can also be attached to a new meter.
Therefore, according to this characteristic configuration, the adapter detects the supply display line displayed at a predetermined position of the integrated amount display unit of the meter by the optical sensor unit, and each time the supply display line is detected, the adapter generates the pulse generation unit. Since the device discriminating unit uses the device discriminator to determine the utility equipment used on the downstream side of the meter based on the pulse signal, for example, simply attaching the adapter to an existing meter A function for discriminating the device to be used can be easily added, and the meter (meter itself or its internal structure) can be used as it is without modification, thereby preventing an increase in cost. Similarly, it is possible to attach to a new meter and easily add a function for discriminating a utility using device to prevent an increase in cost.
Furthermore, according to this feature configuration, the utility using device to be used is determined based on the generation frequency of the pulse signal in the time domain. Therefore, the utility is used according to the utility supply amount per unit time to the utility using device. It is possible to appropriately determine the device used. For example, when the pulse signal generation frequency is high, the utility supply amount is relatively large, and when the pulse signal generation frequency is low, the utility supply amount is relatively small. Therefore, it is possible to appropriately determine the utility using device from the difference in the supply amount. it can.
In addition , according to the present feature configuration, when a plurality of types of utility using devices are used, the pulse signal generation frequency is stored in the storage unit as a reference generation frequency, and the utility using device is actually used. The actual generation frequency of the actual pulse signal at is used as the actual generation frequency, and it is determined that the specific utility using device corresponding to the reference generation frequency closest to the actual generation frequency is used downstream of the meter. By storing a plurality of types of reference generation frequencies that are likely to be stored in the storage unit, it is possible to easily determine that a specific utility using device is being used among a plurality of types of utility using devices. For example, as multiple types of utility use devices, the standard generation frequency of each of the specific utility use devices whose utility supply amount is relatively large and other utility use devices where the utility supply amount is relatively small is to be determined. If the actual generation frequency is closest to the reference generation frequency of a specific utility using device, it can be easily determined that the specific utility using device is being used.
A further characteristic configuration of the adapter according to the present invention is a gas meter in which the meter measures a gas supply amount supplied to a gas using device as the utility using device, and the integrated amount display portion is provided on the front surface of the gas meter. It is a plurality of character wheels for displaying an integrated amount of gas supply amount, and the optical sensor unit detects the supply display line in the smallest digit of the plurality of character wheels.
According to this characteristic configuration, in a plurality of character wheels as an integrated amount display unit that is provided on the front face of the gas meter and displays the integrated amount of the gas supply amount, the supply display line at the minimum digit is detected by the optical sensor unit. For example, an increase in cost can be prevented by using an existing gas meter configuration as it is. In particular, the supply display line of the smallest digit of a plurality of character wheels appears for each relatively small amount (for example, about 2 liters) of gas supply amount, so that a more accurate pulse signal generation frequency can be obtained. This makes it possible to more accurately determine the gas using device.
A further characteristic configuration of the adapter according to the present invention is that, as a result of the determination of the utility using device by the device determining unit, a predetermined discount ratio is provided in a time zone when it is determined that the utility using device to be discounted is used. Is charged by multiplying the utility supply amount supplied to the downstream side of the meter during the time period, and a predetermined ratio is set for the time period when it is determined that the utility use device to be discounted is not used. A first charging processing unit is provided that performs charging processing by multiplying the utility supply amount supplied to the downstream side of the meter during the time period.
According to this feature configuration, during the time period in which the utility using the discount target is used, the utility supply amount supplied to the downstream side of the meter during that time period is multiplied by the predetermined discount ratio to perform billing processing. Since the billing process can be performed by multiplying a predetermined (ordinary) ratio in the unused time zone, for example, a specific utility using device that has a relatively large consumption amount or wants to promote the spread of installation. You can apply a discount to the utility supply supplied to the downstream side of the meter during the used time period to perform billing processing, increase utility consumption, or install specific utility equipment Promotion can be promoted.
A further characteristic configuration of the adapter according to the present invention is that, as a result of determining the utility using device by the device determining unit, if it is determined that the utility using device to be discounted is used, a predetermined discount ratio is set. A second charging processing unit is provided that performs charging processing by multiplying the utility supply amount supplied to the downstream side of the meter.
According to this feature configuration, when the utility usage device subject to discount is used, the billing process can be performed by multiplying the utility supply amount supplied downstream of the meter by a predetermined discount ratio. When it is confirmed that a specific utility using device that consumes a relatively large amount or promotes the spread of installation is installed in the consumer, the utility supply amount supplied downstream of the meter is On the other hand, the billing process can be performed by applying a discount fee, and it is possible to promote the expansion of utility consumption and the spread of installation of a specific utility using device.

The
The
The

〔式1〕S2=S0−S1
The
The first billing processing unit 25a is configured to receive the first pulse number and the second pulse number output from the
[Formula 1] S 2 = S 0 −S 1
〔式2〕C=C1S1−C2S2
Next, as shown in
[Formula 2] C = C 1 S 1 -C 2 S 2
Here, C is the total charge amount for the gas supply amount supplied to the downstream side of the
Therefore, as shown in
The result (for example, total billing amount C) of the billing process performed by the first billing processing unit 25a is output to the

[Operation of Adapter 20]
A case will be described below in which the
First, the
Next, when the
When the
Next, the
Next, the
Next, since the
Next, when the use of the gas-using
Next, the first billing processing unit 25a calculates the time zone in which the
Then, based on
Next, the first billing processing unit 25a, based on the
Then, the total billing amount C is output by the first billing processing unit 25a to the
