Claims (15)
- 第1の金属材料からなる基材と、
上記基材上に配置された耐摩耗層と、
を備えてなる耐摩耗デバイスであって、
上記耐摩耗層は、第1の金属材料とは異なる第2の種類の金属材料から形成されたマトリクスと、上記マトリクス全体に拡散した微粒子と、上記マトリクスの一部分内に拡散したホウ素材料と、を含み、
上記耐摩耗層は、上記基材に隣接する内側層と、摩耗面を形成する第1の外側層と、上記内側層と上記第1の外側層との間に配置された第2の外側層と、を含み、上記第1の外側層は、ホウ素材料としてホウ化物と単体のホウ素とを含み、上記第2の外側層は、ホウ素材料として単体のホウ素を含み、上記内側層は、ホウ素材料を含んでいないことを特徴とする、耐摩耗デバイス。 - 上記第1の金属材料は、鉄基合金、ニッケル基合金、コバルト基合金、ニッケル−クロム合金、コバルト−クロム合金、チタン合金およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記第2の金属材料は、コバルト、ニッケル、コバルト−燐、ニッケル−燐、ニッケル−タングステンおよびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記微粒子は、酸化アルミニウム、炭化ケイ素、炭化クロム、炭化タングステン、ダイヤモンド、窒化ホウ素およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記微粒子は、上記第2の金属材料よりも硬くかつ20μm以下の平均の寸法を有する材料から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記微粒子は、非ホウ化物材料であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記ホウ化物は、上記第2の金属材料と化合したホウ化物であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 金属材料からなるマトリクスと、上記マトリクス全体に拡散した微粒子と、上記マトリクスの一部分内に拡散したホウ素材料と、からなる耐摩耗層を備える耐摩耗デバイスであって、
上記耐摩耗層は、内側層と、摩耗面を形成する第1の外側層と、上記内側層と上記第1の外側層との間に配置された第2の外側層と、を含み、上記第1の外側層は、ホウ素材料としてホウ化物と単体のホウ素とを含み、上記第2の外側層は、ホウ素材料として単体のホウ素を含み、上記内側層は、ホウ素材料を含んでいないことを特徴とする、耐摩耗デバイス。 - 上記微粒子は、炭化物微粒子、酸化物微粒子およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記微粒子は、酸化アルミニウム、炭化ケイ素、炭化クロム、炭化タングステン、ダイヤモンド、窒化ホウ素およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記金属材料は、コバルト、ニッケル、コバルト−燐、ニッケル−燐、ニッケル−タングステンおよびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記耐摩耗層は、ホウ素材料を含んでいない層を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 上記耐摩耗層全体の厚さに対する上記第1および第2の外側層を合わせた部分の厚さの比が、0.5以下であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の耐摩耗デバイス。
- 金属材料からなるマトリクスと、上記マトリクス全体に拡散した微粒子と、からなる耐摩耗層を含む耐摩耗デバイスを処理する方法であって、
上記マトリクスの一部分にホウ素材料を拡散させて、ホウ化物と単体のホウ素とを含んだ摩耗面を形成する第1の外側層と、前記第1の外側層の下に形成されるとともに単体のホウ素を含んだ第2の外側層と、を形成させるように、上記耐摩耗層をホウ化処理すること、
を含む方法。 - 上記マトリクスと上記微粒子との間、および上記マトリクスと上記耐摩耗層が被覆される基材との接合面のいずれかまたは両方において相互拡散を生じさせるホウ化処理温度において、上記耐摩耗層をホウ化処理することをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
