Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle including a plurality of gas tanks having different heat dissipation properties.
As this type of vehicle, for example, a fuel cell vehicle filled with hydrogen gas from a hydrogen station is known (see Patent Document 1). In Patent Document 1, considering that the amount of temperature increase in the hydrogen tank accompanying filling differs among the plurality of hydrogen tanks, at the time of filling, first, a certain amount of hydrogen gas is filled only into a highly heat-dissipating hydrogen tank. doing. After that, the filling is temporarily stopped, filling of the hydrogen tank with low heat dissipation is started, and when the filling is finished, the hydrogen tank with high heat dissipation is filled again, so that A high hydrogen tank is fully filled. This series of filling control is performed by switching a switching valve provided at a branch point of the filling path.
According to the filling method described in Patent Document 1, it is possible to fully fill a plurality of hydrogen tanks having different heat dissipation properties. However, since it is necessary to repeat temporary filling, it cannot be said that efficient filling is performed, and there is room for improvement.
Here, in order to improve, it is possible to omit the switching valve. In this way, hydrogen gas is simultaneously filled in a plurality of hydrogen tanks, but the SoC (Soak of Charge: filling rate) in the hydrogen tank first reaches 100% (full filling) as the hydrogen tank has higher heat dissipation. For this reason, if filling control according to SoC of the hydrogen tank with high heat dissipation is performed, the hydrogen tank with low heat dissipation does not reach full filling. On the other hand, if filling control is performed in accordance with the SoC of a hydrogen tank with low heat dissipation, the hydrogen tank with high heat dissipation may be overfilled.
An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle capable of suppressing overfilling or shortage of filling amounts for a plurality of gas tanks having different heat dissipation properties and increasing the filling rate as a whole vehicle.
In order to achieve the above object, a vehicle according to the present invention includes at least a first gas tank having a first heat dissipation property and a second gas tank having a second heat dissipation property lower than the first heat dissipation property. In addition, as a filling path for the gas supplied from the external gas station to the first and second gas tanks, the shared flow path and the first branched from the shared flow path to the first and second gas tanks, respectively. And a second branch channel, and a flow rate limiting mechanism capable of limiting the amount of gas supplied to the first gas tank is provided only in the first branch channel of the supply channel.
According to the present invention, when gas is supplied from the gas station, the common flow path branches into the first and second branch flow paths and is supplied to the first and second gas tanks. By this, it is possible to limit the amount of gas supplied to the first gas tank. Thereby, it is possible to suppress overfilling of the first gas tank that easily reaches the predetermined SoC early. In addition, if the gas supply to the second gas tank is performed while the supply amount to the first gas tank is limited, an insufficient filling amount of the second gas tank can be suppressed, and the filling rate of the entire vehicle is reduced. Can be raised. Furthermore, since it is not necessary to provide the flow restricting mechanism in the second branch flow path, the number of parts and the cost can be reduced.
Here, the flow restricting mechanism can be constituted by an orifice provided in a pipe constituting the first branch flow path, but is preferably constituted by a shutoff valve or a flow control valve.
If the flow restricting mechanism is configured by a shutoff valve, for example, the supply of gas to the first gas tank is stopped when the SoC of the first gas tank with high heat dissipation reaches a predetermined value (for example, 100%). Can do. Thereby, overfilling of the first gas tank can be prevented. Further, if the supply to the second gas tank is continued thereafter, the shortage of the filling amount can be suppressed.
In this case, more preferably, the vehicle further includes a control device that controls opening and closing of the shut-off valve, and when the gas is supplied from the gas station, the control device opens the shut-off valve and first and second The gas supply to the second gas tank is permitted, and after the predetermined supply to the first gas tank is completed, the shut-off valve is closed and the second gas tank of the first and second gas tanks is closed. Only allow the gas supply. By doing so, overfilling of the first gas tank and insufficient amount of filling of the second gas tank can be suppressed by simple control of the shutoff valve.
More preferably, the vehicle further includes a first detector that detects a state quantity in the first gas tank, and the information detected by the first detector is used to determine whether or not a predetermined supply has been completed. It should be used as an indicator. Thus, by using the actual detection information regarding the state quantity in the first gas tank, it is possible to appropriately determine whether or not the SoC of the first gas tank has reached a predetermined value.
More preferably, the vehicle may further include a transmitter that communicates information detected by the first detector to a receiver on the gas station side by communication. By doing so, the state quantity in the first gas tank can be grasped on the gas station side. Thereby, the gas station side can also determine whether or not to continue the supply of gas to the first gas tank.
More preferably, the vehicle further includes a second detector that detects a state quantity in the second gas tank, and the transmitter also transmits information detected by the second detector to the receiver on the gas station side through communication. You should tell. Thus, it is possible to appropriately determine whether or not the SoC of the second gas tank has reached a predetermined value, and it is possible to grasp the state quantity in the second gas tank on the gas station side.
More preferably, the timing at which the shutoff valve is driven and stopped is controlled by a timer. By doing so, it is possible to appropriately control the drive of the shut-off valve when the gas is supplied from the gas station.
As another preferred aspect of the present invention, when the flow restriction mechanism is configured by a flow control valve, for example, the supply amount to the first gas tank can be restricted from the start of supply. Thereby, both SoC of the 1st and 2nd gas tank in supply can be made comparable, and it can suppress overfilling of both gas tanks, and filling amount shortage.
In this case, more preferably, the vehicle further includes a control device that controls the opening degree of the flow control valve, and the control device includes the SoCs of the first and second gas tanks when the gas is supplied from the gas station. It is good to control the opening degree of the flow control valve so that the valve travels at a similar value. By doing so, overfilling of both gas tanks and insufficient filling amount can be suppressed by electrical control over the flow control valve.
More preferably, the timing at which the flow control valve is driven and stopped is controlled by a timer.
According to another preferred embodiment, the flow control valve has a valve opening degree so that the SoC in the first and second gas tanks when the gas is supplied from the gas station proceeds at a similar value. It can also be a mechanical valve to be controlled. According to this configuration, it is not necessary to electrically control the flow control valve, and power consumption of the vehicle during supply of gas from the gas station can be suppressed.
Hereinafter, a vehicle according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Here, a fuel cell vehicle equipped with a fuel cell system will be described as an example. As is well known, the fuel cell system includes a fuel cell that generates power by an electrochemical reaction between a fuel gas (for example, hydrogen gas) and an oxidizing gas (for example, air). The filling of hydrogen gas is one of the modes in which hydrogen gas is supplied from a gas station to a gas tank of a vehicle.
<First Embodiment>
As shown in FIG. 1, the gas filling system includes, for example, a
The
The
The
The
Of the
The
Here, the heat dissipation of the gas tank generally differs depending on the specifications of the gas tank, such as the material constituting the gas tank itself and the physique of the gas tank (length, diameter, capacity, surface area, etc.). For example, when aluminum is used as the liner layer of the gas tank, the heat dissipation is superior to when resin (polyethylene or the like) is used. Moreover, heat dissipation also changes with the characteristics and compounding ratio of the resin in the liner layer. Furthermore, the heat dissipation varies depending on the physique of the gas tank, for example, the ratio of the length to the diameter and the ratio of the capacity to the surface area. And when the heat dissipation of a gas tank is excellent, compared with the case where it is not excellent, the temperature rise rate (temperature rise amount) in a gas tank accompanying filling and a pressure rise rate (pressure rise amount) are suppressed low.
The
The
The
Note that when referring to the relationship with the wording described in the scope of claims described later, in the present embodiment, at least one of the
The
Next, with reference to FIG. 2, the filling flow to the
The filling start in Step S1 is performed by operating the
During filling, the SoC of the
Here, SoC refers to the filling rate of hydrogen gas in the gas tank, and is calculated based on the gas density. Specifically, the SoC of the gas tank is calculated by using a function of gas density having as parameters the temperature and pressure of hydrogen gas in the gas tank (that is, tank temperature and tank pressure).
Accordingly, during the filling of step S2, the tank temperature Ta and the tank pressure Pa of the
Until the SoC of the
Next, the SoC monitoring target is changed from the
Then, the
The operational effects of the present embodiment described above will be described in comparison with the case shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 filled by a method different from the present embodiment. 3 and 4 both relate to the case where the
As shown in FIG. 3B, the
On the other hand, according to this embodiment, it becomes as shown in FIG. Specifically, first, the heat radiation property with
In particular, according to the present embodiment, since the
Further, as an index for determining whether or not the SoC of the
<変形例>
<Modification>
Next, some modifications of the first embodiment will be described. Each modification can be applied to each other.
<First Modification>
The SoC of the
<Second Modification>
The number of gas tanks is not limited to the above two, and may be three or more. For example, when three gas tanks having different heat dissipation properties are connected in parallel to the
<Third Modification>
The monitoring and the like shown in FIG. 2 may be performed by the
Second Embodiment
Next, a
The
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 7 (c), the flow valve is adjusted so that the SoCs of the
Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the SoC of the
In the second embodiment, in order to maintain the SoC of the
According to another embodiment of the present embodiment, the second modification described above can be applied to the present embodiment. For example, when three gas tanks having different heat dissipation properties are connected in parallel to the
Further, according to another embodiment of the present embodiment, the
<Third Embodiment>
Next, an electric power system of a fuel cell vehicle according to a third embodiment that can be applied to the first and second embodiments will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 8, the
The low-voltage DC /
Here, when hydrogen gas is charged in the
According to the present embodiment, even during filling of the
