Description
Claims (5)
- 再送要求メカニズムを有し、適応型変調および符号化を使用して送信機から受信機にデータを送信するための、複数の副搬送波を使用する時間分割複信(TDD)または周波数分割複信(FDD)直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)無線通信システムにおいてデータを送受信する方法であって、
送信データブロックごとに割り当てられる送信シーケンス番号(TSN)の第1のTSNを、第1のデータブロックに割り当てるステップと、
第1の複数のOFDM副搬送波を用いる第1の指定された変調および符号化スキームを使用して前記第1のTSNとともに前記第1のデータブロックを送信するステップと、
前記受信機から再送要求を受信して、前記指定された変調および符号化セットを第2の指定された変調および符号化セットに変更し、セグメント化を利用するかどうかを決定し、そして、セグメント化を利用すると決定した場合に、前記第1のデータブロックを複数のセグメントにセグメント化するステップと、
セグメント化の利用の決定に基づいて、追加のセグメント化のオーバーヘッドを複数の前記セグメントに追加するかを決定するステップであって、前記追加のセグメント化のオーバーヘッドは、複数の前記セグメントに関するヘッダーに示されるセグメント化情報を備え、前記セグメント化情報は前記第1のデータブロックのセグメント化の様態を示し、前記セグメント化情報は複数のセグメント化識別子(SID)を含み、前記追加のセグメント化のオーバーヘッドは、セグメント化を利用しないと決定された伝送には付加されない、ステップと、
前記複数のセグメントの各セグメントに前記第1のTSNとは異なる1つのSIDを割当てるステップと、
前記第1の複数のOFDM副搬送波とはOFDM副搬送波の数の異なる第2の複数のOFDM副搬送波を用いる前記第2の指定された変調および符号化セットを使用して前記セグメントを前記SIDと送信するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記セグメントの少なくともの2つが、前記送信機から前記受信機へ別々に送信されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- セグメント化が利用されるときに、基地局が選択的に指示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- セグメント化を利用する前記決定は、1又は複数のチャネル品質測定、又は先の送信の失敗率に少なくとも部分的に基づくことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- セグメント化を利用する前記決定は、セル負荷、追加されるユーザー、先の再送信の回数、又は測定チャネル品質に少なくとも部分的に基づいていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
