- 基板と、前記基板上に配置される複数のLED素子と、前記複数のLED素子の略重心を通る前記基板の法線を回転対称軸とする回転体形状のレンズユニットと、を備え、前記複数のLED素子には複数の光色のLED素子が含まれ、前記レンズユニットが前記LED素子からの光を混色して出射するレンズ付発光ユニットであって、
前記レンズユニットは、前記法線と直交する出射面と、前記出射面から基板に向かって凸状に延びる反射面と、前記反射面の基板側から前記出射面に折り返す側方入射面と、前記側方入射面の前記反射面と接していない端部をつなぐ上方入射面と、を備え、
前記側方入射面と前記上方入射面との任意の接点について、前記接点と最も離れた前記LED素子からの光が前記接点で屈折させられてなる光路と前記出射面との交点を連続的に結んでなる円の内部の出射面の拡散角を、前記円の外部の出射面の拡散角よりも大きくしたことを特徴とするレンズ付発光ユニット。 - 前記上方入射面は、前記法線と直交する平面であり、
前記円の内部の出射面の拡散角は、円の中心部分よりも円の周縁部分の方が大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレンズ付発光ユニット。 - 前記上方入射面は、前記法線と直交する凸面であり、
前記円の内部の出射面の拡散角は、円の中心部分よりも円の周縁部分の方が小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレンズ付発光ユニット。
