Specifically, the present invention relates to a conductive multilayer resin sheet and a container suitable for an electronic component that is susceptible to electrostatic breakdown such as an IC, which is formed by thermoforming the multilayer resin sheet.
Injection trays, vacuum forming trays, magazines, carrier tapes, and the like are used for packaging and transporting ICs and electronic parts using ICs.
As a container for preventing destruction of electronic parts such as an IC due to static electricity, a resin container containing a conductive filler is known.
For example, a multilayer resin sheet in which a surface layer made of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a conductive filler is provided on a base material layer made of a thermoplastic resin is disclosed in Japanese Patent Nos. 398216, 3512132, 3756049, No. 2002-67209 and JP-A-2004-87370.

In the above Patent Documents 1 to 5, not only there is no electrical conductivity between the front and back of the sheet, but the antistatic performance is partially lost because there is no electrical conductivity even in the surface layer alone in the high stretch ratio part.
In Patent Document 6, since the surface layer is not conductive, the surface resistance value of the multilayer sheet is too high, and the antistatic property is insufficient.
In the above-mentioned Patent Documents 7 and 8, when thermoforming is performed in which the film is partially stretched at a high degree of stretching, the surface resistance value of the high-stretched part is significantly different from other low-stretched parts or non-stretched parts. In general, when a carbon black-containing resin sheet is stretched, the conductivity deteriorates. This is considered to be because the chain-like dispersion state peculiar to carbon black is divided by stretching.
The present invention provides a multilayer resin sheet capable of obtaining a container for an electronic component having a small variation in surface resistance value in each part even when partially stretched at a high degree of stretching, and thermoforming the multilayer resin sheet. To do.
The multilayer resin sheet of the present invention has a conductive layer (A) made of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a conductive filler, respectively, and a surface layer (B) covering the conductive layer (A). The volume resistivity is 10 0 to 10 7 Ω · cm, and the surface resistance value on the surface layer (B) side is 10 3 to 10 10 Ω.
Here, the volume resistivity indicates the electrical resistance between cut surfaces when the multilayer resin sheet is cut into the shape of FIG.
The surface resistance value in the unstretched or low-stretched portion of the multilayer resin sheet is mainly determined by the surface layer. Therefore, in the electronic component container obtained by molding this multilayer resin sheet, the surface resistance value of the unstretched or low-stretched portion is in the range of 10 3 to 10 10 Ω which is the surface resistance value of the surface layer (B). Almost fits.
When this multilayer resin sheet is partially highly stretched, the thickness of the surface layer is reduced along with stretching, and the surface resistance value of this highly stretched portion is not only the surface layer but also the conductive layer (A) below it. It will also be affected by the resistance value.
In general, when a surface layer made of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a conductive filler is stretched, the conductivity of the surface layer decreases (resistance due to a change in the dispersion state of the conductive filler). The value increases).
Also in the present invention, it is considered that due to such a phenomenon, the electrical resistance value of the surface layer (B) of the highly stretched portion itself increases. However, the thickness of the surface layer (B) is reduced by high stretching, and when measuring the electric resistance value, not only the surface layer (B) but also the conductive layer (A) immediately below the surface layer (B). As a result, an electric current flows, and as a result, the surface resistance value in the high-stretched portion is not significantly different from the surface resistance value in the non-stretched portion and the low-stretched portion.
That is, in the present invention, the increase in the resistance value of the surface layer (B) due to high stretching is compensated by the conductive layer (A), which is the lower layer, and the surface resistance value is approximately 10 3 to 10 10 Ω even in the high stretching portion. It becomes.
For this reason, the electronic component container manufactured using the multilayer resin sheet of the present invention has a substantially uniform surface resistance value and substantially 10 3 to 10 10 over the entire surface on the surface layer (B) side. It will be in the range of Ω.
Incidentally, the volume resistivity of the multilayer resin sheet is lower than 10 0 Ω · cm, it is necessary to increase the addition amount of the conductive filler, the mechanical strength of the vacuum moldability and molded article during molding may be deteriorated . When the volume resistivity is higher than 10 7 Ω · cm, sufficient antistatic performance cannot be obtained because the conductivity is too low when subjected to high stretching by vacuum forming or the like.
If the surface resistance value on the surface layer (B) side of the multilayer resin sheet is lower than 10 3 Ω, the electrical conductivity is too high, and a rapid discharge may occur, possibly destroying the electronic component. If the surface resistance value on the surface layer (B) side of the multilayer resin sheet is higher than 10 10 Ω, the conductivity is too low when subjected to high stretching by vacuum forming or the like, so that sufficient discharge performance cannot be obtained. .
If the thickness of the surface layer (B) is less than 1 μm, the conductivity of the unstretched portion is increased due to the influence of the conductive layer, which may destroy the electronic device. When the thickness of the surface layer (B) is larger than 20 μm, the conductive layer (A) does not contribute to the surface resistance value of the surface layer (B) even if it is stretched, and the conductivity at the high stretched portion is lowered, and charging is performed. The prevention performance is not sufficient.
[Layer structure of multilayer resin sheet]
The multilayer resin sheet of the present invention has a conductive layer (A) and a surface layer (B). The surface layer (B) is preferably laminated directly on the conductive layer (A). In the case of only the surface layer (B) and the conductive layer (A), the specific configuration is as follows: surface layer / conductive layer (in this case, the surface layer constitutes a surface in contact with the electronic component), surface layer / conductive. Any of layer / surface layer may be used.
The multilayer resin sheet of the present invention may further have a base material layer made of a thermoplastic resin that does not contain a conductive filler or is different from the conductive layer (A) in the amount of conductive filler. Examples of the layer structure in this case include surface layer / conductive layer / base material layer, and surface layer / conductive layer / base material layer / conductive layer / surface layer.
Further, in the present invention, a layer having a resistance value intermediate between the surface layer (B) and the conductive layer (A) may be provided.
The thickness of the entire multilayer resin sheet is preferably 0.1 to 5 mm. When the wall thickness is less than 0.1 mm, the strength as a packaging container is poor, and when the wall thickness is 5.0 mm or more, the uneven thickness at the time of secondary molding is large and molding becomes difficult.
[Volume resistivity and surface resistance value of multilayer resin sheet]
The volume resistivity of the multilayer resin sheet is 10 0 to 10 7 Ω · cm, preferably 10 2 to 10 5 Ω · cm, and the surface resistance value on the surface layer (B) side is 10 3 to 10 10 Ω, In particular, 10 4 to 10 9 Ω is preferable when high electrostatic properties are required such as a magnetic head tray for a hard disk. The reason for this is as described in the above column of effects.
[Conductive layer]
The conductive layer (A) of the multilayer resin sheet of the present invention is made of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a conductive filler.
As thermoplastic resins, polyamide resins such as nylon 6 and nylon 66, polyester resins such as polybutylene terephthalate and polyethylene terephthalate, polyacetal resins, modified polyphenylene ether resins, polycarbonate resins, polyarylate resins, polysulfone resins Resin, polyether sulfone resin, polyether ether ketone resin, polyether imide resin, polyphenylene sulfide resin, polyolefin resin such as polypropylene and polyethylene, and a resin mixture containing at least two selected from these resins are used. be able to.
What is preferably used as the thermoplastic resin is an aromatic polyester resin. The aromatic polyester resin is polyalkylene terephthalate obtained by polycondensation with terephthalic acid or its dialkyl ester aliphatic glycol, or a copolymer mainly composed of this, and typical examples thereof include polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate. Etc. Other dibasic acids, other basic acids or alkyl esters thereof together with the above-mentioned terephthalic acid or dialkyl esters thereof, such as phthalic acid, isophthalic acid, naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, diphenyldicarboxylic acid, adipic acid, You may mix and use sebacic acid, trimesic acid, trimellitic acid, those alkylesters, etc. Examples of the aliphatic glycols include ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, tetramethylene glycol, hexamethylene glycol, and the like, but together with these aliphatic glycols, other diols or polyhydric alcohols such as aliphatic glycols. On the other hand, cyclohexanediol, cyclohexanedimethanol, xylylene glycol, 2,2-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) propane, glycerin, pentaerythritol, and the like may be mixed and used.
As the aromatic polyester-based resin, those having no clear melting point, that is, those that do not exhibit a clear melting point peak when measured with a differential scanning calorimeter at a temperature rising rate of 10 ° C./min are particularly preferable. Aromatic polyester resin with a clear crystal melting peak promotes crystallization during the preheating process during thermoforming, so the toughness of the sheet decreases and the mold shape transferability becomes difficult. May be a problem.
As the thermoplastic resin of the conductive layer (A), a thermoplastic resin mixture containing 10 to 50 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin with respect to 100 parts by weight of the aromatic polyester resin is also preferable from the viewpoint of moldability and conductivity. .
Carbon fiber, metal fiber, metal particle, carbon black (furnace black, channel black, acetylene black), fine carbon fiber, ionic conductive polymer, antistatic agent can be used as the conductive filler, but the mechanical strength And carbon black and fine carbon fibers are preferred in order to obtain a good overview of mechanical properties such as impact strength, vacuum forming, pressure forming, secondary formability such as hot plate forming, and surface smoothness.
As the conductive filler, DBP oil absorption of 400 cm 3/100 g or less, more preferably and particularly preferably less carbon black 350 cm 3/100 g. In addition, when DBP oil absorption is larger than 400 cm < 3 > / 100g, electroconductivity may be lost by the extending | stretching received at the time of vacuum forming, and sufficient discharge performance may not be obtained.
The amount of carbon black added is preferably 5 to 30 wt%. If it is 5 wt% or less, the antistatic function is insufficient because of low conductivity. If it is 30 wt% or more, the flowability of the resin deteriorates, and the sheet formability and vacuum formability may be impaired. In addition, it is preferable that the volume resistivity of a conductive layer (A) is lower than the volume resistivity of a surface layer (B), and it is preferable to determine the compounding quantity of a conductive filler so that it may become such volume resistivity. .
In the resin composition, additives such as a lubricant, a plasticizer, and a processing aid may be added as necessary.
Although the thickness of a conductive layer is not specifically limited, Preferably it is the range of 0.1 mm-5 mm, More preferably, it is the range of 0.3 mm-3 mm. If it is less than 0.1 mm, sufficient strength may not be obtained. If it exceeds 5 mm, vacuum forming may be difficult.

[Surface layer]
The surface layer of the multilayer resin sheet of the present invention is made of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a conductive filler.
As thermoplastic resins, polyamide resins such as nylon 6 and nylon 66, polyester resins such as polybutylene terephthalate and polyethylene terephthalate, polyacetal resins, modified polyphenylene ether resins, polycarbonate resins, polyarylate resins, polysulfone resins, Polyether sulfone resins, polyether ether ketone resins, polyether imide resins, polyphenylene sulfide resins, polyolefin resins such as polypropylene and polyethylene, and resin mixtures containing at least two selected from these can be used. .
Among these, aromatic polyester resins are preferably used. As specific examples of the aromatic polyester resin that can be used, those listed in the section of [Conductive layer] can be used without particular limitation.
The aromatic polyester resin is particularly preferably one having no clear melting point, that is, one that does not exhibit a clear melting point peak when measured with a differential scanning calorimeter at a rate of temperature increase of 10 ° C./min. In the aromatic polyester resin having a clear crystal melting peak, crystallization is promoted in the preheating process at the time of thermoforming, so that moldability deterioration such as difficulty in mold shape transfer may be a problem.
As the thermoplastic resin used for the surface layer (B), a thermoplastic resin mixture containing 10 to 50 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin with respect to 100 parts by weight of the aromatic polyester resin is preferable in terms of moldability and conductivity. Used.
As the conductive filler, carbon fiber, metal fiber, metal particle, carbon black (furnace black, channel black, acetylene black), fine carbon fiber, ionic conductive polymer, antistatic agent can be used, but mechanical In order to obtain mechanical properties such as strength and impact strength, and secondary formability such as vacuum forming, pressure forming, hot plate forming, etc., carbon black and fine carbon fibers are particularly preferable.
DBP oil absorption of the carbon black used in the present invention is preferably not 350 cm 3/100 g or more, more preferably carbon black 350~700cm 3 / 100g. The carbon black of less than DBP oil absorption of 350 cm 3/100 g it is necessary to increase the amount of carbon black in order to ensure the desired resistance value, there is the vacuum moldability is deteriorated.
Moreover, the average diameter of the fine carbon fiber used for this invention is 200 nm or less, Preferably it is 100 nm or less, More preferably, it is 50 nm or less. If the average diameter of the fine carbon fibers is larger than 200 nm, the contact between the fine carbon fibers in the matrix resin becomes insufficient, and a large amount of addition is necessary to develop conductivity, and stable conductivity. May be difficult to obtain.
Moreover, the addition amount of carbon black and fine carbon fiber is preferably 0.1 to 10 wt%, particularly 0.5 to 8 wt%. If it is less than 0.1 wt%, it is difficult to ensure the desired conductivity regardless of the carbon type, and if it exceeds 10 wt%, not only the surface resistance value becomes too low, but also wear powder is generated due to friction with electronic components. May end up.
Various additives such as a lubricant, a plasticizer, and a processing aid may be added to the resin composition as necessary.
The thickness of the surface layer is in the range of 1-20 μm, preferably 5-15 μm. If it is less than 1 μm, the electric resistance is low due to the influence of the conductive layer, which may lead to electrostatic breakdown. If it exceeds 20 μm, the conductivity of the sheet surface is determined only by the surface layer, so that it is difficult to ensure the conductivity at the highly stretched portion.
[Base material layer]
The base material layer is preferably made of a thermoplastic resin or a material mainly composed thereof. For example, polyphenylene ether resins, polystyrene resins, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resins, aromatic polyester resins such as polystyrene terephthalate (PET) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), or a mixture thereof can be used. Preferred are acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resin, polystyrene resin, and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin. It is also possible to add the above-mentioned polycarbonate (PC) resin in the range of 1 to 50% by weight to these resins. The mechanical strength can be improved by adding a polycarbonate resin.
The conductive filler may be blended with the thermoplastic resin constituting the base material layer, but the conductivity of the multilayer resin sheet is ensured by the surface layer and the conductive layer. It doesn't reach.
[Production method]
In order to produce the multilayer resin sheet of the present invention, first, a blend of a thermoplastic resin and a conductive filler is kneaded and pelletized by various kneaders such as a twin screw extruder and a continuous kneader. Next, a multilayer resin sheet is formed by the following method a), b) or c).
a) Using a plurality of extruders, supplying the resin for the conductive layer and the surface layer, respectively, and molding the multilayer resin sheet by a multilayer coextrusion molding method such as a feed block method or a multi-manifold method.
b) A multilayer resin sheet is formed by sequentially coating or laminating a conductive layer and a surface layer on a base material layer formed using an extruder.
c) A multilayer resin sheet is formed by a method of coating or laminating a surface layer on a sheet of a conductive layer formed using an extruder.
[Electronic component containers]
The container for electronic parts is a container for packaging and transporting electronic parts, and includes a vacuum forming tray, a carrier tape (embossed carrier tape), and the like.
This container for electronic parts can be manufactured by at least partially stretching the above-mentioned multilayer resin sheet by vacuum forming, pressure forming, hot plate forming or the like.
[Resistance measurement method]
<Volume resistivity measurement>
As shown in FIG. 1, the sheet is cut and a conductive paint such as silver paste is applied to both ends to form electrodes. The electrical resistance value between the electrodes at both ends is measured, and the volume resistivity is obtained based on the formula (1) described later.
<Surface resistance measurement>
The part of the antistatic component that comes into contact with the electronic component is measured, for example, with a two-probe probe having a conductive rubber attached to the tip with a conductive adhesive or the like.
The diameter of the electrode at the probe tip in contact with the surface to be measured is about 1 to 5 mmφ.
In particular, by attaching conductive rubber to the probe, the variation of the contact area due to the roughness and waviness of the surface of the molded product is reduced, so that the resistance value can be measured accurately and stably.
For the same reason, a conductive paint such as silver paste may be applied to the surface of the molded product with a size of about 1 to 5 mmφ, and this may be measured as an electrode.
The distance between the electrodes is about 1 mm to 20 mm.
