Claims (10)
- 中央の肉厚部及び外周の肉薄部を含む透明基板と、
前記透明基板に積層される透明な第一の電極と、
前記第一の電極と対向する第二の電極と、
前記第一の電極と前記第二の電極に挟まれる発光層と、を有し、
前記肉厚部は前記発光層からの光の放出方向に突出し、
前記透明の前記肉厚部と前記肉薄部との境界に段部が構成され、
前記段部が曲率を有する、面発光装置。 - 前記透明基板の前記肉厚部と前記薄肉部との境界に複数の前記段部が形成される、請求項1に記載の面発光装置。
- 前記透明基板は、それぞれ大きさの異なる透明基板を積層することによって形成される、請求項1または2に記載の面発光装置。
- 前記積層される透明基板の表面に光の散乱処理が施されている、請求項3に記載の面発光装置。
- 前記発光層がエレクトロルミネッセンス層である、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の面発光装置。
- 中央の肉厚部及び外周の肉薄部を含む透明基板と、
前記透明基板に積層される透明な第一の電極と、
前記第一の電極と対向する第二の電極と、
前記第一の電極及び前記第二の電極に挟まれる発光層と、を有し、
前記肉厚部は前記発光層からの光の放出方向に突出し、
前記肉厚部の外周端面は前記発光層からの光を透過可能に形成される、面発光装置。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の面発光装置と、前記透明基板の肉薄部を保持する保持部材とを有する、照明装置。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の面発光装置と、前記透明基板の肉薄部を保持する保持部材とを有する、ディスプレイ装置。
- 透明基板と、前記透明基板に積層されている陽極となる透明な第一の電極と、前記第一の電極と対向する陰極となる第二の電極と、前記第一の電極と前記第二の電極に挟まれている発光層とを有する面発光装置を用いる光の放射方法であって、前記発光層からの光を前記第一の電極と前記透明基板の肉厚部とを介して外部に放射させるとともに、前記透明基板内で反射された光を、前記肉厚部と前記透明基板外周の肉薄部との境界に構成された段部から外部に放射させる、光の放射方法。
- 前記透明基板内で反射された光の少なくとも一部を、前記段部の一部を構成する前記肉厚部の外周端面から外部に放射させる、請求項9に記載の光の放射方法。
