Description

該リターン電極パッドおよび該センサ回路と結合された制御回路であって、該制御回路は、該センサ回路からのセンサデータを受信および処理し、該処理されたセンサデータを電気外科用エネルギー源に中継するように構成される、制御回路と
を備えている、電気外科用リターン電極。
上記リターン電極パッドは、ホールディング基板をさらに備え、上記センサ回路および上記制御回路は、該ホールディング基板と結合される、項目1に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
上記ホールディング基板は、上記患者接触面から上記制御回路および上記センサ回路を電気的に絶縁するように構成される、項目2に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
上記ホールディング基板は、上記制御回路および上記センサ回路のうちの少なくとも1つへの相互接続のために適合され該基板上に配置された金属トレースを含む、項目2に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
上記センサ回路は、上記リターン電極パッドにおける少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンを定義する少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイを含み、該少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、少なくとも1つのダイオードを含み、該少なくとも1つのダイオードは、該少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンの温度を示す所定の順方向の電圧降下を有する、項目1に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
上記少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、上記少なくとも1つのダイオードと直列に結合された少なくとも1つの抵抗器を含む、項目5に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
上記制御回路は、アナログ−デジタル変換器、デジタル−アナログ変換器、マイクロプロセッサ、DC−DC変換器、シリアルトランシーバ、および光結合器、マイクロコントローラ、抵抗器、キャパシタ、オシレータ、およびフィールドプログラマブルゲートアレイのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、項目1に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
電気外科手術を行う方法であって、該方法は、
電気外科用エネルギーを伝導するように構成された患者接触面を有するリターン電極パッドを含む電気外科用リターン電極と、該リターン電極パッドと結合されたセンサ回路と、該リターン電極パッドおよび該センサ回路と結合された制御回路とを提供することと、
該電気外科用リターン電極を患者と接触するように配置することと、
電気外科用ジェネレータを介して電気外科用エネルギーを生成することと、
活性電極を介して該電気外科用エネルギーを患者に供給することと、
該センサ回路を介してリターン電極パッドの特性および組織の特性のうちの少なくとも1つを監視することによってセンサデータを生成することと、
該制御回路において該センサ回路からの該センサデータを受信および処理し、該処理されたセンサデータを電気外科用エネルギー源に中継することと
を包含する、方法。
電気外科用リターン電極を提供する上記ステップにおいて、上記リターン電極パッドは、ホールディング基板をさらに備え、上記センサ回路および上記制御回路は、該ホールディング基板と結合される、項目8に記載の方法。
上記ホールディング基板を介し、上記患者接触面から、上記制御回路および上記センサ回路を電気的に絶縁することをさらに包含する、項目9に記載の方法。
上記ホールディング基板は、上記制御回路および上記センサ回路のうちの少なくとも1つへの相互接続のために適合され該基板上に配置された金属トレースを含む、項目9に記載の方法。
上記センサ回路は、上記リターン電極パッドにおける少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンを定義する少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイを含み、該少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、少なくとも1つのダイオードを含み、該少なくとも1つのダイオードは、該少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンの温度を示す所定の順方向の電圧降下を有する、項目8に記載の方法。
上記所定の順方向の電圧降下を監視することによって、上記少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンの温度を測定するステップをさらに包含する、項目12に記載の方法。
上記少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、上記少なくとも1つのダイオードと直列に結合された少なくとも1つの抵抗器を含む、項目12に記載の方法。
電気外科手術を行うための電気外科用システムであって、該電気外科用システムは、
電気外科用エネルギーを提供するように構成された電気外科用ジェネレータと、
リターン電極パッドを含む電気外科用リターン電極であって、
電気外科用エネルギーを伝導するように構成された患者接触面と、
該リターン電極パッドと結合されたセンサ回路であって、該センサ回路は、リターン電極パッドの特性および組織の特性のうちの少なくとも1つを監視することによってセンサデータを生成するように構成される、センサ回路と、
該リターン電極パッドおよび該センサ回路と結合された制御回路であって、該制御回路は、該センサ回路からのセンサデータを受信および処理し、該処理されたセンサデータを電気外科用エネルギー源に中継するように構成される、制御回路と
を含む、電気外科用リターン電極と、
患者に電気外科用エネルギーを供給する活性電極と
を備えている、電気外科用システム。
上記リターン電極パッドは、ホールディング基板をさらに備え、上記センサ回路および上記制御回路は、該ホールディング基板と結合される、項目15に記載の電気外科用システム。
上記ホールディング基板は、上記患者接触面から上記制御回路および上記センサ回路を電気的に絶縁するように構成される、項目16に記載の電気外科用システム。
上記ホールディング基板は、上記制御回路および上記センサ回路のうちの少なくとも1つへの相互接続のために適合され該基板上に配置された金属トレースを含む、項目16に記載の電気外科用システム。
上記センサ回路は、上記リターン電極パッドにおける少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンを定義する少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイを含み、該少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、少なくとも1つのダイオードを含み、該少なくとも1つのダイオードは、該少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンの温度を示す所定の順方向の電圧降下を有する、項目15に記載の電気外科用システム。
上記少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、上記少なくとも1つのダイオードと直列に結合された少なくとも1つの抵抗器を含む、項目19に記載の電気外科用システム。
電気外科用リターン電極が開示される。該リターン電極は、電気外科用のエネルギーを伝導するように構成された患者接触面を有するリターン電極パッド、および該リターン電極パッドと結合されるセンサ回路を含む。該センサ回路は、リターン電極パッドの特性および組織の特性のうちの少なくとも1つを監視し、センサデータを生成するように構成される。該リターン電極は、リターン電極パッドおよびセンサ回路に結合された制御回路をも含む。該制御回路は、センサ回路からのセンサデータを受信および処理し、処理したセンサデータを電気外科用エネルギー源に中継するように構成される。

Claims (13)
- 電気外科用リターン電極であって、該電気外科用リターン電極は、
電気外科用エネルギーを伝導するように構成された患者接触面を含むリターン電極パッドと、
該リターン電極パッドと結合され、かつ、該リターン電極パッド上に配置されたセンサ回路であって、該センサ回路は、リターン電極パッドの特性および組織の特性のうちの少なくとも1つを監視することによってセンサデータを生成するように構成されている、センサ回路と、
該リターン電極パッドおよび該センサ回路と結合され、かつ、該リターン電極パッド上に配置された制御回路であって、該制御回路は、該センサ回路からセンサデータを受信および処理し、該処理されたセンサデータを電気外科用エネルギー源に中継するように構成されている、制御回路と
を備えている、電気外科用リターン電極。 - 前記リターン電極パッドは、ホールディング基板をさらに備え、前記センサ回路および前記制御回路は、該ホールディング基板と結合されている、請求項1に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
- 前記ホールディング基板は、前記患者接触面から前記制御回路および前記センサ回路を電気的に絶縁するように構成されている、請求項2に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
- 前記ホールディング基板は、前記制御回路および前記センサ回路のうちの少なくとも1つへの相互接続のために適合され該基板上に配置された金属トレースを含む、請求項2に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
- 前記センサ回路は、前記リターン電極パッドにおける少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンを定義する少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイを含み、該少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、少なくとも1つのダイオードを含み、該少なくとも1つのダイオードは、該少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンの温度を示す所定の順方向の電圧降下を有する、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
- 前記少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、前記少なくとも1つのダイオードと直列に結合された少なくとも1つの抵抗器を含む、請求項5に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
- 前記制御回路は、アナログ−デジタル変換器、デジタル−アナログ変換器、マイクロプロセッサ、DC−DC変換器、シリアルトランシーバ、光結合器、マイクロコントローラ、抵抗器、キャパシタ、オシレータ、フィールドプログラマブルゲートアレイのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の電気外科用リターン電極。
- 電気外科手術を行うための電気外科用システムであって、該電気外科用システムは、
電気外科用エネルギーを提供するように構成された電気外科用ジェネレータと、
リターン電極パッドを含む電気外科用リターン電極であって、
電気外科用エネルギーを伝導するように構成された患者接触面と、
該リターン電極パッドと結合され、かつ、該リターン電極パッド上に配置されたセンサ回路であって、該センサ回路は、リターン電極パッドの特性および組織の特性のうちの少なくとも1つを監視することによってセンサデータを生成するように構成されている、センサ回路と、
該リターン電極パッドおよび該センサ回路と結合され、かつ、該リターン電極パッド上に配置された制御回路であって、該制御回路は、該センサ回路からのセンサデータを受信および処理し、該処理されたセンサデータを該電気外科用ジェネレータに中継するように構成されている、制御回路と
を含む、電気外科用リターン電極と、
患者に電気外科用エネルギーを供給する活性電極と
を備えている、電気外科用システム。 - 前記リターン電極パッドは、ホールディング基板をさらに備え、前記センサ回路および前記制御装置は、該ホールディング基板と結合されている、請求項8に記載の電気外科用システム。
- 前記ホールディング基板は、前記患者接触面から前記制御回路および前記センサ回路を電気的に絶縁するように構成されている、請求項9に記載の電気外科用システム。
- 前記ホールディング基板は、前記制御回路および前記センサ回路のうちの少なくとも1つへの相互接続のために適合され該基板上に配置された金属トレースを含む、請求項9に記載の電気外科用システム。
- 前記センサ回路は、前記リターン電極パッドにおける少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンを定義する少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイを含み、該少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、少なくとも1つのダイオードを含み、該少なくとも1つのダイオードは、該少なくとも1つの温度監視ゾーンの温度を示す所定の順方向の電圧降下を有する、請求項8、9、10および11のいずれか1項に記載の電気外科用システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの温度センサアレイは、前記少なくとも1つのダイオードと直列に結合された少なくとも1つの抵抗器を含む、請求項12に記載の電気外科用システム。
