Claims (6)
- マフラ本体(2)に接続されて,一端部をマフラ本体(2)内に連通させると共に,他端部を大気に開放する下流側排気管(11)の長手方向中間部に,マフラ本体(2)内を下流側排気管(11)の中間部内に連通する短絡孔(17)を設け,この短絡孔(17)を,マフラ本体(2)内の圧力が所定値未満のときは閉じ,同圧力が所定値以上になると開く排気流制御弁(20)を下流側排気管(11)に付設してなる,排気マフラにおけ排気流制御装置において,
排気流制御弁(20)を,下流側排気管(11)の内側で短絡孔(17)を閉鎖する全閉位置(C)と短絡孔(17)を開放する全開位置(O)との間を回動し,且つその全開位置(O)では先端を下流側排気管(11)の下流側に向けるように下流側排気管(11)にヒンジ連結される弁板(21)と,短絡孔(17)を横断するように下流側排気管(11)に設けられるばね受け部材(25)と,弁板(21)の,ばね受け部材(25)より下流側排気管(11)の下流側に位置する先端部に一端部を固着すると共に,他端部側をばね受け部材(25)に摺動可能に圧接させ,その反発力により弁板(21)を全閉位置(C)側に付勢する弁ばね(22)とで構成したことを特徴とする,排気マフラの排気流制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の排気マフラの排気流制御装置において,
弁板(21)の基端部を,可撓性ヒンジ部材(23)を介して下流側排気管(11)の内壁に連結したことを特徴とする,排気マフラの排気流制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の排気マフラの排気流制御装置において,
弁板(21)の基端部に鉤状のヒンジ部(21a)を形成し,このヒンジ部(21a)を,下流側排気管(11)の内壁に固着される支持部材(27)のヒンジ孔(27a)に回動可能に係合したことを特徴とする,排気マフラの排気流制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の排気マフラの排気流制御装置において,
棒状のばね受け部材(25)の両端部を下流側排気管(11)の外側面に固着し,このばね受け部材(25)の,下流側排気管(11)の外側面より***した外周面に弁ばね(22)を摺動可能に圧接させたことを特徴とする,排気マフラの排気流制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の排気マフラの排気流制御装置において,
ばね受け部材(25)を,短絡孔(17)の打ち抜き加工時,短絡孔(17)を二分するように下流側排気管(11)に残存させる隔壁(25)で構成し,この隔壁(25)に,下流側排気管(11)の外側面より***する***部(25b)を形成し,この***部(25b)に弁ばね(22)を摺動可能に圧接させたことを特徴とする,排気マフラの排気流制御装置。 - 請求項1,4,5の何れかに記載の排気マフラの排気流制御装置において,
弁板(21)が全閉位置(C)にあるとき,弁ばね(22)の,ばね受け部材(25)より弁板(21)の基端部側に位置する先端部を短絡孔(17)側に湾曲した湾曲部(22a)に形成したことを特徴とする,排気マフラの排気流制御装置。
