Claims (4)
- エンジンの排気通路上に設けられた選択還元型のNOx浄化触媒と、このNOx浄化触媒よりも上流側の排気通路内に液状の還元剤を添加する添加弁と、上記還元剤を貯留する貯留タンクから所定の供給管を通じて上記添加弁に還元剤を供給する電動ポンプと、上記添加弁および電動ポンプの作動を制御する制御手段とを備えたエンジンの排気浄化装置であって、
上記NOx浄化触媒の温度に関連するパラメータ値を検出するパラメータ値検出手段を備え、
上記添加弁は、上記パラメータ値検出手段の検出値から求まる上記NOx浄化触媒の温度が所定温度以上のときに上記還元剤を添加するように制御され、
上記制御手段は、上記NOx浄化触媒の温度が上記所定温度よりも低いときに上記NOx浄化触媒の温度上昇率を求め、この温度上昇率が小さいときには大きいときに比べて上記電動ポンプの駆動開始タイミングを遅らせることを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 請求項1記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
上記制御手段は、上記NOx浄化触媒の温度が上記所定温度まで上昇するタイミングと、上記供給管内の還元剤の圧力が所定圧まで達して上記添加弁からの還元剤の添加が可能になるタイミングとが一致するように、上記電動ポンプの駆動開始タイミングを決定することを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 請求項2記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
上記制御手段は、上記NOx浄化触媒の温度が上記所定温度に達するまでの時間を上記温度上昇率に基づいて予測するとともに、この予測時間と、上記電動ポンプが駆動されてから上記供給管内の還元剤の圧力が上記所定圧に達するまでの所要時間とに基づいて、上記電動ポンプの駆動開始タイミングを決定することを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
上記制御手段は、エンジン停止後に、上記供給管に設けられた切替弁を作動させることにより、上記供給管内に残留する還元剤が上記電動ポンプの吸引力で上記貯留タンク内に戻されるように還元剤の流れを切り替えることを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。
