Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係る摩擦クラッチのバックトルク低減装置を採用した自動二輪車1の側面図である。なお、以下の実施の形態で用いる方向の概念は、自動二輪車1の進行方向を前方としてこれを基準とし、その他の方向については自動二輪車1に搭乗したライダー(図示せず)が上記基準に従って見た方向の概念と一致するものとして説明する。
図2は、摩擦クラッチ40の構成を説明するための断面図である。図1に示すように、摩擦クラッチ40は、エンジンEから後輪3へ至る動力伝達経路中において、図2に示すようにクランクシャフト35と、変速機(図示せず)が有してクランクシャフト35と平行に略水平方向に軸芯38aが沿うように設けられた変速軸38との間に介在され、ギヤ駆動によりクランクシャフト35の回転が伝達されて該クランクシャフト35に連動して回転するクラッチアウタ41と、変速軸38と一体回転するクラッチハブ42とを備えている。
図3は、図2に示す摩擦クラッチ40の部分拡大図であり、摩擦クラッチ40が備えるバックトルク低減装置71の構成を主に示している。図3に示すように、クラッチハブ42が有するインナ50には、軸芯38a方向の内方へ向けて開口する有底筒部72が形成されており、この有底筒部72は、インナ50の外周部に等間隔で複数(例えば、3つ)設けられている。また、ハブ体51の外周部には、上記有底筒部72に対応するそれぞれの位置に、鋼製の球体であるスチールボール73と当接するハブ側ボール当接部74が形成されている。そして、これらの有底筒部72とハブ側ボール当接部74とによって、カムスペース75が形成されている。

Claims (4)
- クランクシャフトの回転が伝達されるクラッチアウタに係合するドライブプレートとクラッチハブに係合して一体回転するドリブンプレートとを互いに圧接させるプレッシャプレート、
変速軸の軸芯方向へ前記クラッチハブに対して可動に設けられたクラッチカム、及び
前記プレッシャプレートに設けられて前記クラッチカムに当接可能な当接部材を備え、
前記クラッチカムは、前記変速軸にバックトルクが作用したときに前記軸芯方向に沿って前記プレッシャプレート側へ移動し、前記当接部材を押動して前記ドライブプレートと前記ドリブンプレートとを互いに離反させるべく構成され、
更に前記クラッチカムは、前記クラッチハブよりも前記プレッシャプレート側へ延設された延設部を有し、前記当接部材は、前記延設部の前記プレッシャプレート側の端部に対向配置されており、且つ、該当接部材は、前記延設部の端部に対する離隔寸法を調整可能な離隔寸法調整手段を成していることを特徴とする摩擦クラッチのバックトルク低減装置。 - 前記クラッチハブは、前記クラッチカムを収容するカムスペースと、該カムスペースから前記プレッシャプレート側へ向かって前記クラッチハブを貫通する貫通孔とを有し、前記クラッチカムが有する前記延設部は、前記カムスペースから前記貫通孔を通じて前記プレッシャプレート側へ突出していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦クラッチのバックトルク低減装置。
- 前記クラッチハブはハブ側ボール当接部を有し、前記クラッチカムはカム側ボール当接部を有し、更に、前記ハブ側ボール当接部と前記カム側ボール当接部との間に介在する球体と、前記ハブ側ボール当接部と前記カム側ボール当接部とを互いに接近する方向へ付勢する付勢手段とを備え、前記変速軸にバックトルクが作用したときに前記クラッチハブと前記クラッチカムとは前記軸芯回りに相対移動すると共に、前記付勢手段に抗して前記クラッチカムは前記クラッチハブから離隔して前記プレッシャプレート側へ移動するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の摩擦クラッチのバックトルク低減装置。
- 前記ハブ側ボール当接部及び前記カム側ボール当接部の互いの対向面のうち少なくとも一方には、前記変速軸にバックトルクが作用したときに前記クラッチハブに及ぶ力の方向とは反対方向へ向かうに従って浅くなっていく溝が形成され、前記球体は該溝に嵌め込まれていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の摩擦クラッチのバックトルク低減装置。
