Claims (2)
- 二次電池と、充電用スイッチとして動作する充電制御用FETと放電用スイッチとして動作する放電制御用FETとを備えた電池保護回路基板と、を有する電池パックであって、
前記電池保護回路基板は、電池接続端子と、外部機器および充電装置との接続用の正極側および負極側外部接続端子と、を備え、前記負極側外部接続端子と前記電池接続端子との間に、前記負極側外部接続端子側から前記充電制御用FETと前記放電制御用FETを直列に接続し、
対向した2つの電極からなる漏洩電流検出電極を前記電池保護回路基板上の前記充電制御用FETのゲートとソース間に設け、前記漏洩電流検出電極が導通することで前記充電制御用FETが遮断されて充電が停止され、放電時においては前記遮断された前記充電制御用FETの寄生ダイオードを介して流れる放電電流によって発生する順電圧に基づいて前記放電制御用FETを停止することで放電を停止することを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記漏洩電流検出電極を構成する一方の電極は前記負極側外部接続端子であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電池パック。
