Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a timepiece dial with a solar battery.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a dial plate of a solar cell (solar cell) driving timepiece is required to be light-transmitting and inexpensive, so that a transparent plastic dial plate has been widely used. Furthermore, for the purpose of increasing design variations and the purpose of making the dark purple of the solar cell placed under the dial inconspicuous, various uneven patterns (for example, a lattice pattern, a circle pattern, various geometries) are formed on the dial. A special pattern etc. has appeared. And many indexes, such as a time letter and a mark provided in the dial plate with these uneven | corrugated patterns, are affixing a metal parameter | index or forming by printing. Among them, the indicator made of metal has been increasingly used because it has a metallic luster and a high-class feeling.
[0003]
A case where a metal index is attached to the timepiece dial with solar cells having the unevenness as described above will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing a cross-section of the main part of the dial plate to which the indicator is pressure-bonded. In FIG. 5, reference numeral 51 denotes a dial, which has a convex portion 51a formed on the dial surface. Reference numeral 53 denotes an index on which characters, marks, and the like are formed. Reference numeral 54 denotes an index body made of a metal material, which is mainly formed by an electroforming method using electroforming plating. Reference numeral 55 denotes an adhesive layer having a thickness of 7 to 14 μm applied to the bottom surface of the indicator main body 54.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, as shown in the drawing, when the index 53 is pressure-bonded to the dial 51 having a large uneven pattern, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 55 is applied to the dial 51 in the concave portions between the convex portions 51a formed by the convex portions 51a. There is no contact. As a result, there arises a problem that the index is peeled off due to insufficient adhesion area. Therefore, in order to prevent the index from being peeled off, only a dial with a small uneven pattern can be used, and the pattern design variations to be formed are limited. In addition, when an index is formed by printing on a dial plate having a large uneven pattern, printing cannot be performed and printing cannot be performed successfully.
[0005]
The above-described invention has been made to solve such a conventional problem, and its purpose is for a watch with a solar cell that allows sticking and printing of an indicator while having a concavo-convex pattern with a large step. Is to provide a dial.
[0006]
In order to achieve the above-described object, the invention according to claim 1 of the present invention is characterized in that the timepiece with a solar cell is formed with an indicator such as a time letter and a mark on the upper surface of the concavo-convex pattern of the light- transmitting plastic substrate. In the plate, the indicator is made of metal , a transparent coating film at least in a region where the indicator is formed on an upper surface of the concavo-convex pattern on which the indicator is formed , and an adhesive layer applied on the lower surface of the indicator Are formed, and the step of the uneven pattern is eliminated by the coating film and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in which the step of the uneven pattern is relaxed .
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a timepiece dial according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the main part of a dial plate for a solar cell timepiece according to a first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a plan view of the same, and FIG. 3 is a solar cell timepiece according to a second embodiment. FIG. 4 is a plan view of a dial for a timepiece with a solar cell according to a third embodiment.
[0011]
First, the configuration of the first embodiment of the present invention will be described. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a timepiece dial with a solar battery made of a light-transmitting plastic material disposed on a solar cell. On the upper surface of the dial 1, quadrangular pyramidal projections 1a are densely formed in a matrix. As shown in FIG. 2, 2 is a transparent coating film (resin coating film) printed on the portion where the indicator on the surface of the dial 1 is disposed, and various resins such as acrylic resin, epoxy resin, urethane resin, etc. Is available. Reference numeral 3 denotes an index, which includes an index body 4 and an adhesive layer 5 applied to the lower surface of the body 4.
[0012]
The transparent coating film 2 is printed in advance on the place where the index 3 of the dial 1 is pasted so as to fill the concave portion 1b of the dial and make the concave portion 1b shallow. For this reason, the printing paint is preferably an ink having a relatively low viscosity with a little more solvent. For example, under printing conditions in which a film thickness of about 10 μm can be obtained by one printing, a single printing is performed on a dial plate with an uneven step of 30 μm or less, and a dial plate with an uneven step of 30 to 50 μm. On the other hand, by performing printing twice and further printing three times on a dial plate having a step difference of 50 to 70 μm, the step difference is reduced to about 10 μm. As a result of the step difference of the unevenness of the dial 1 being reduced, the adhesive layer 5 of the index 3 comes into close contact with the surface of the dial 1 without any gap.
[0013]
The range for printing the transparent coating film may be, for example, a round shape slightly larger than the index, as in the transparent coating film 12 of the dial plate 11 shown in FIG. 3, or as shown in FIG. It may be a banded circle like the transparent coating 22 on the plate 21.
[0014]
By adding a matting agent such as silicon oxide to the transparent coating film, the glossiness with the plastic substrate can be adjusted. When the substrate has no glossiness, if a transparent coating film without a matting agent is formed on the substrate, glossiness appears on the coating film, and an uncomfortable feeling is generated between the substrate and the coating film, which is not good in appearance. In such a case, by adding a slight amount of matting agent, an appearance color having a similar glossy tone can be obtained. This matting agent may be about 1 to 3% by weight. If it is less than 1%, the matte effect does not appear. In addition, 3% is sufficient for many, and the effect will not change even if more is added.
[0015]
Next, effects of the embodiment of the present invention will be described. By printing a transparent coating film, the unevenness on the dial surface is relaxed and becomes minute, so that any metal pattern can be used for any dial pattern. In addition, the present invention is not limited to the metal index described above, but can be applied to printing an index at a predetermined layout position, and a transparent resin layer is formed on a concavo-convex pattern to make it as flat as possible. Can be used to print the indicator skillfully. Since it is a transparent coating film, the pattern drawn on the dial below it is clearly visible from above and there is no sense of incongruity.
[0016]
【Effect of the invention】
As described above, according to the present invention, since the transparent coating film is printed at least on the area where the index is formed on the dial having the unevenness, the unevenness of the unevenness is relaxed so that the metal index adheres. became. In addition, even when the index is printed and formed, it can be skillfully printed.
[0017]
Further, by adding a matting agent to the transparent coating film according to the gloss level of the plastic substrate, the gloss level of the coating film and the substrate can be made the same, and a good appearance color can be obtained.
