Claims (8)
- 高圧コンプレッサ(14)、前記高圧コンプレッサの下流に配置された燃焼器(16)、および前記高圧コンプレッサにシャフトで連結された高圧タービン(18)を含むコアガスタービンエンジン(13)と、
前記コアガスタービンエンジンに連結された逆回転ブースタコンプレッサ(22)であって、第1方向に回転するように構成された第1ロータセクション(50)および逆の第2方向に回転するように構成された第2ロータセクション(60)を含む前記逆回転ブースタコンプレッサ(22)と、
前記第1ロータセクションに連結された単段ファンアセンブリ(12)と、
低圧タービン(20)が前記ファンアセンブリ(12)と前記第1ロータセクション(50)の双方を駆動するように、前記低圧タービン(20)と前記ファンアセンブリとの間に連結された駆動シャフト(32)と、
前記低圧タービンがギアボックス(100)を駆動するように、かつ前記ギアボックスが前記第2ロータセクションを駆動するように、前記駆動シャフトと、前記ギアボックスにコーン(82)を用いて連結された前記第2ロータセクションとの間に連結された前記ギアボックス(100)と、
ファンフレーム(15)と前記ギアボックス(100)に連結された支持構造体(110)と、
前記ギアボックス(100)と前記第2ロータセクション(60)とに連結され、第1端部が前記第2ロータセクションを駆動する前記コーン(82)とスプライン結合され、かつ第2端部が前記ギアボックスとスプライン結合された第1延長シャフト(300)と、
を備えることを特徴とするターボファンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。 -
前記ギアボックス(100)と前記ファンアセンブリ(12)との間に連結され、第1端部が前記ギアボックス(100)とスプライン結合され、かつ第2端部が前記駆動シャフト(32)とスプライン結合された第2延長シャフト(302)をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。 - 前記ギアボックス(100)は、前記低圧タービン(20)の回転速度より異なった回転速度で前記第2ロータセクション(60)を駆動するように構成された複数のギア(102)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のターボファンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記コーン(82)と前記支持構造体(110)との間に配置されるように、前記コーンの径方向外側表面に取り付けられた前記第1ローラベアリングアセンブリ(160)をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のターボファンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 第1スラストベアリングアセンブリ(140)が、前記ギアボックス(100)の下流で、前記コーン(82)と前記支持構造体(110)との間に配置されるように、前記コーンの径方向内側表面に取り付けられた前記第1スラストベアリングアセンブリ(140)をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記駆動シャフト(32)と前記ファンアセンブリ(12)との間に連結された延長駆動シャフト(33)と、
第2スラストベアリングアセンブリ(150)が、前記ギアボックス(100)の下流で、前記支持構造体(110)と前記延長駆動シャフトとの間に配置されるように、前記支持構造体の径方向内側表面に取り付けられた前記第2スラストベアリングアセンブリ(150)と
をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のターボファンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。 - 前記ギアボックス(100)の上流で、前記延長駆動シャフト(33)と前記コーン(82)との間に配置されるように、前記延長駆動シャフトの径方向外側表面に取り付けられた第2ローラベアリングアセンブリ(130)をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のターボファンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記ギアボックス(100)は、実質的に環状断面歯形を有する遊星ギアボックスを備え、前記ギアボックスは、実質的に前記駆動シャフト(32)に外接することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
