Description
この2つのバッテリーセルのそれぞれが、ユニットセルとしてその上端及び下端で形成された電極端子を有し、フレーム部材は、溝を有する下端フレームであって、ユニットセルの下部電極端子がその溝内に挿入される一方、ユニットセルの下部電極端子が互いに結合され、ユニットセルの下端密封部分が下端フレームに取り付けられるように構成される下端フレームと、ユニットセルの上端密封部分が上端フレームに取り付けられるように構成される上端フレームであって、ユニットセルの上部電極端子に接続される外部入出力端子が上端フレームの外側表面から突出するように構成された上端フレームと、下端フレームと上端フレームとの間に接続された側部フレームであって、ユニットセルの一の側部密封部分が側部フレームに取り付けられるように構成された側部フレームと、を備えているフレーム部材に関する。
シース部材14の反対側の側部14aのために、シース部材14の上部シース部分及び下部シース部分の同一の樹脂層は、互いに直接的に接触し、それによって、シース部材14の反対側の側部14aでの均一な密封が溶接によって達成される。他方で、シース部材14の上端14b及び下端14cのために、電極リード11及び12は、シース部材14の上端14b及び下端14cから突出する。この理由のために、シース部材14の上部シース部分及び下部シース部分の上端14b及び下端14cは、互いに熱で溶接される一方、フィルム形状のシール部材16は、電極リード11及び12の厚さと、電極リード11及び12とシース部材14との間の材料の差異とを考慮して、電極リード11及び12とシース部材14との間に挟まれる。それによって密封性を増加させる。
電極リードの電極タップ又は電極端子は、例えば、陰極の電極がバッテリーセルの一の側部から突出し、陽極の電極がバッテリーセルの他の側部から突出するように構成される。
この場合において、互いから2つの電極端子の絶縁は、安定して達成される一方、電極端子は、上端フレームに取り付けられる。

Claims (11)
- 2つのバッテリーセルを含み、前記バッテリーセルのそれぞれが、ユニットセルとしてその上端及び下端で形成された電極端子を有しているバッテリーモジュールの組み立てのためのフレーム部材であって、
前記フレーム部材は、
溝を有する下端フレームであって、前記ユニットセルの下端電極端子が前記溝内に挿入される一方、前記ユニットセルの前記下端電極端子が互いに結合され、前記下端フレームが、前記ユニットセルの下端密封部分が前記下端フレームに取り付けられるように構成される前記下端フレームと、
前記ユニットセルの上端密封部分が上端フレームに取り付けられるように構成される上端フレームであって、前記ユニットセルの上端電極端子に接続された外部入出力端子が、前記上端フレームの外側表面から突出する前記上端フレームと、
前記下端フレームと前記上端フレームとの間に接続された側部フレームであって、前記ユニットセルの一の側部密封部分が前記側部フレームに取り付けられるように構成される前記側部フレームと、
を備えていることを特徴とするフレーム部材。 - 各前記バッテリーセルが、金属層及び樹脂層を含んでいる積層シートからなるバッテリーケース内に取り付けられた電極アセンブリを有している二次電池であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレーム部材。
- 前記上端フレーム又は前記下端フレームには、前記ユニットセルの電圧及び/又は温度を検出するための端子(検出端子)が設けられ、
前記上端フレームには、外部回路に前記検出端子を接続するための接続端子が、前記入出力端子の側に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレーム部材。 - 前記検出端子は、前記下端フレームに取り付けられ、前記検出端子が前記側部フレーム内に取り付けられた回路を介して前記上端フレームの前記接続端子に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のフレーム部材。
- 前記下端フレームが貫通孔を有し、前記検出端子が前記貫通孔に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフレーム部材。
- 前記側部フレームには、溝が設けられ、前記ユニットセルの前記一の側部密封部分が前記溝内に挿入されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレーム部材。
- 前記上端フレームには、溝(挿入溝)が設けられ、前記ユニットセルの前記上端電極端子は、前記溝内に挿入される一方、前記ユニットセルの前記上端電極端子は屈曲されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレーム部材。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のフレーム部材に2つのユニットセルを取り付ける方法であって、
前記方法は、
互いに前記ユニットセルの下端電極端子を結合するステップと、
前記下端電極端子が互いに面するように、前記ユニットセルの前記下端電極端子を屈曲するステップと、
前記ユニットセルの結合された下端電極端子が前記下端フレームの前記溝内に挿入されるように、その開口側部を通じて、前記フレーム部材に前記ユニットセルを取り付けるステップと、
を備えていることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のフレーム部材に2つのユニットセルを取り付ける方法であって、
前 記方法は、
互いに前記ユニットセルの下端電極端子を結合するステップと、
前記下端フレームの前記溝内に前記ユニットセルの結合された前記下端電極端子を挿入し、且つ前記下端フレームに前記ユニットセルの結合された前記下端電極端子を固定するステップと、
前記下端電極端子が互いに面するように、前記ユニットセルの結合された前記下部電極端子を屈曲するステップと、
を備えていることを特徴する方法。 - 前記下端フレームに前記ユニットセルの結合された前記下端電極端子を固定するステップは、前記下端フレームの前記貫通孔を通じて、前記ユニットセルの結合された前記下端電極端子を穿孔し、且つ前記貫通孔を通じて固定部材を挿入するによって実施されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のフレーム部材を使用して製造された中型又は大型のバッテリーモジュール。
