Description
−溶液中の液滴を不活性相中に形成し、ここで前記物質の濃度は異なっていてもよく;
−少なくとも1つの貯蔵マイクロチャネル内で液滴を生成し、貯蔵する;
−すべての前記液滴中に結晶を形成する;
−少なくとも一部の結晶を少なくとも一部の液滴中に溶解させるために、温度を上昇させる;そして
−分析手段により結晶化及び溶解プロセスを観察する。
−物質とは任意に異なる濃度の前記溶液中の液滴を不活性相中に形成する;
−少なくとも1つの貯蔵マイクロチャネル内で液滴を生成、貯蔵する;
−すべての前記液滴中に結晶を形成し、少なくとも大部分の液滴中において、各液滴の体積が、単核形成結晶化機構を引き起こさせるのに十分に少なくする;そして
−少なくとも2つの異なる液滴において、同じ物質に対して少なくとも2つの異なる結晶構造を観察する。
−前記液滴が、物質の溶解温度よりも高い温度で形成される;
−前記液滴を溶解温度より低い温度で冷却することにより、すべての液滴中に結晶を形成する;
−分析手段がラマン分光法又は光学顕微鏡法を含む;
−本発明に係る方法が、結晶化の間に形成される結晶構造を、特にラマン分光法により観察する追加ステップを更に含む;
−本発明に係る方法が、多形性を決定するために、同じ物質に対して少なくとも2つの異なる結晶構造を観察する;
−少なくとも100個の液滴、より好ましくは、少なくとも200個の液滴を形成する;
−少なくとも大部分の液滴中において、各液滴の体積が単核形成結晶化機構を引き起こさせるのに十分少ない量である;
−形成された各液滴の体積が1μlより少なく、より好ましくは0.2μlより少なく形成される;
−不活性相がシリコーンオイル又はフッ素化オイルである;
−溶解度が、準安定性多形の温度関数又は複数の多形の温度関数として同時に測定される;
−溶液の温度を段階的に降下及び/又は上昇させる;
−各段階の温度変化が、0.1〜5℃、より好ましくは0.5〜1℃である;
−段階の数が、10〜50の間、特に20〜30の間である;
−結晶がすべて形成される第1温度を特定する;
−温度を段階的に降下させ、異なる温度値に対する結晶の数をカウントし、前記第1温度を、もはやそれよりも低い温度では結晶が形成されない温度として決定する;
−結晶がすべて溶解する第2温度を特定する;、そして
−温度を段階的に上昇させ、次第に高くなる温度に対して結晶の数をカウントし、第2温度を、もはやそれよりも高い温度では結晶が溶解しない温度として決定する。
−不活性相において前記溶液の液滴を貯蔵する、少なくとも1つの貯蔵マイクロチャネル;
−前記溶液を前記貯蔵マイクロチャネルに導入する第1入口;
−前記不活性相を前記貯蔵マイクロチャネルに導入する第2入口;そして
−この貯蔵マイクロチャネルの下流に配置され、前記貯蔵マイクロチャネルを閉止する手段。
−本発明に係る装置が、貯蔵マイクロチャネルに貯蔵される液滴を加熱又は冷却する手段を更に備える;
−貯蔵マイクロチャネルは、等価直径が50μm〜1mm、好ましくは400〜600μmである;
−貯蔵マイクロチャネルが、シリコーン等のエラストマー材料の中から選択され、より詳細には、PDMS、ガラス、シリコン、PMMA及び感光性樹脂の中から選択される;
−液滴を加熱及び冷却する手段が、ペルチェモジュールを含む;
−本発明に係る装置が、液滴を離間させて融合を防ぐために、前記不活性相又は前記不活性相と混和しない第2の不活性相の追加量を導入する追加入口を更に含む;
−本発明に係る装置が、第1及び第2入口と貯蔵マイクロチャネルとの間に配置される出口を更に含む;
−本発明に係る装置が、第1及び第2入口と貯蔵マイクロチャネルと間に配置され、溶液の溶媒相の追加量を貯蔵マイクロチャネルに導くための別の追加入口を更に含む。
−前記複数の物質は、それらの物質のpH、不純物の存在、又は少なくとも1の補助剤の存在から特に選択される少なくとも1つのパラメーターを変更することによって用意される;そして
−前記複数の物質が少なくとも2つの構成要素の混合物から形成され、前記異なる物質がこれらの構成要素の比率を変更することによって用意される。

−溶液の液滴であって、物質とは異なる濃度を任意に有しており、不活性相中に形成される;
−液滴が、少なくとも1つの貯蔵マイクロチャネル中において生成、保管され;
−すべての液滴中に結晶が形成され、液滴のそれぞれの容量が、少なくとも大部分の液滴中の単純核形成結晶化機構を誘発するのに十分なほど少量であり;そして
−少なくとも2つの異なる液滴中における少なくとも2つの異なる結晶化構造が同一の物質に対して観察される。
Claims (21)
- 溶媒中に物質を溶解した溶液の結晶化を追跡する方法であって、
前記溶液の複数の液滴(G)を、不活性相(T)中に形成させることと、
形成された前記複数の液滴を、少なくとも1つの貯蔵マイクロチャネル(1)内で貯蔵させることと、
すべての前記複数の液滴中に結晶を形成させることと、
少なくとも一部の液滴中の少なくとも一部の結晶を溶解させるために、温度を上昇させることと、
前記複数の液滴内にある結晶の数を測定するための分析手段により結晶化及び溶解プロセスを観察すること
を含む方法。 - 前記複数の液滴が、前記物質の溶解温度よりも高い温度で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の液滴を前記物質の溶解温度より低い温度で冷却することにより、すべての前記複数の液滴中に結晶を形成させることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記分析手段が、ラマン分光法又は光学顕微鏡法を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 結晶化の間に形成される前記結晶の構造を観察する追加ステップを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記物質は様々な形態に結晶化できる物質であることを含み、
同じ物質に対して少なくとも2つの異なる結晶構造を観察することにより、多形性を決定する追加ステップを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 少なくとも100個の液滴を形成させることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも大部分の液滴中において、各液滴の体積が、単核形成結晶化機構を引き起こさせるために十分に少ないことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 形成された各液滴の体積が1μlより少ないことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記不活性相がシリコーンオイル又はフッ素化オイルであることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 温度を変化させることにより、前記物質の溶解度が、準安定性多形又は複数の多形の温度関数として同時に測定されることを特徴とする請求項の1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 溶液の温度を段階的に降下及び/又は上昇させることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 各段階の温度変化(ΔT)が、0.1〜5℃であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 段階の数が、10〜50であることを特徴とする、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- すべての結晶が形成される第1温度(Tmin)を特定することを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 温度を段階的に降下させ、異なる温度値に対して結晶の数をカウントし、前記第1温度(Tmin)を、もはやそれよりも低い温度では結晶が形成されない温度として決定することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- すべての結晶が溶解する第2温度(Tmax)を特定することを特徴とする請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 温度を段階的に上昇させ、次第に高くなる温度に対して結晶の数をカウントし、第2温度(Tmax)を、もはやそれよりも高い温度では結晶が溶解しない温度として決定することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 複数の物質をスクリーニングする方法であって、前記複数の物質を用意し、各物質の結晶化を請求項1〜18のいずれか1項で定義した方法に従って追跡し、前記複数の物質の中の少なくとも1つの好ましい物質を特定する方法。
- 前記複数の物質は、それらの物質のpH、不純物の存在、又は少なくとも1の補助剤の存在、から特に選択される少なくとも1つのパラメーターを変更することによって、用意されることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の物質が、少なくとも2つの成分の混合物から形成され、前記異なる物質がこれらの成分の比率を変更することによって用意されることを特徴とする請求項19又は20に記載の方法。
