Claims (31)
- 剛性容器内の流体の圧力を監視する方法であって、第1及び第2の導電性要素を分離する変形可能な弾性固体誘電体を備えるコンデンサの静電容量を監視することを含み、流体圧力の変化に応じた前記誘電体の圧縮または弛緩に伴って前記導電性要素間の距離とひいては前記コンデンサの静電容量が変化するように前記コンデンサが加圧された前記流体に全体としてさらされており、前記誘電体が、約1〜約10GPaの体積弾性係数(K)を有し、かつ/またはポリカーボネート、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル、及び/またはポリテトラフルオロエチレンポリマーを備える材料である方法。
- 剛性容器内の流体の圧力を監視する方法であって、第1及び第2の導電性要素を分離する変形可能な弾性固体誘電体を備えるコンデンサの静電容量を監視することを含み、流体圧力の変化に応じた前記誘電体の圧縮または弛緩に伴って前記導電性要素間の距離とひいては前記コンデンサの静電容量が変化するように前記コンデンサが加圧された前記流体に全体としてさらされており、前記容器が、補給所から流体を分配する地点への輸送中加圧流体を貯蔵するのに適したコンテナである方法。
- 前記誘電体が、約1〜約10GPaの体積弾性係数(K)を有し、かつ/またはポリカーボネート、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル、及び/またはポリテトラフルオロエチレンポリマーを備える材料である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記コンテナが補充可能な可搬型ガスシリンダまたはボトルである、請求項2または3に記載の方法。
- 前記コンテナが、前記コンテナ内の流体圧力が所定のレベル以下に低下したことが静電容量によって示される時信号を送信するよう動作する装置を付属する、請求項2〜4の何れか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記装置が無線信号を送信するよう動作する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 監視対象となる流体が、少なくとも時々は、少なくとも約20バールの圧力を有する、請求項1〜6の何れかに記載の方法。
- 流体の圧力が約300バールを越えない、請求項1〜7の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記方法がさらに、変形可能な弾性固体誘電体によって分離された第1及び第2の導電性要素を備え、流体の圧力の変化に無関係な基準静電容量を提供するため加圧流体にさらされないように配置された第2のコンデンサの静電容量を監視することを含む、請求項1〜8の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2のコンデンサが、前記2つのコンデンサの間の静電容量の差に相関する電圧出力を提供する回路の一部を形成し、前記方法が、前記電圧出力を監視することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 流体の温度が約−20〜約+100℃である、請求項1〜10の何れかに記載の方法。
- 流体がガスである、請求項1〜11の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記固体誘電体がポリカーボネートポリマーまたはポリエステルポリマーを備えるポリマーである、請求項1〜12の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記固体誘電体が、開くかまたは閉じた孔または気泡が少なくとも実質上は存在しないものである、請求項1〜13の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記コンデンサが、前記固体誘電体の1枚かまたはそれ以上のシートによって分離された第1及び第2の導電性シートを備える、請求項1〜14の何れかに記載の方法。
- 各導電性シートの厚さが、前記誘電体シート(単数または複数)の合計厚さよりほぼ2桁以上小さい、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記コンデンサが、前記第1及び第2の導電性要素を分離する前記固体誘電体の内部または周囲に加圧流体が侵入するのを防止または阻止するコーティングを含む、請求項1〜16の何れかに記載の方法。
- 加圧流体のための剛性容器であって、前記容器が、第1及び第2の導電性要素を分離する変形可能な弾性固体誘電体を備えるコンデンサを含み、前記コンデンサが、前記加圧流体が前記容器内に存在する時流体に全体としてさらされるように配置されるので、流体圧力の変化に応じた前記誘電体の圧縮または弛緩に伴って前記導電性要素間の距離とひいては前記コンデンサの静電容量が変化し、前記誘電体が、約1〜約10GPaの体積弾性係数(K)を有し、かつ/またはポリカーボネート、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル、及び/またはポリテトラフルオロエチレンポリマーを備える材料である容器。
- 加圧流体のための剛性容器であって、前記容器が、第1及び第2の導電性要素を分離する変形可能な弾性固体誘電体を備えるコンデンサを含み、前記コンデンサが、前記加圧流体が前記容器内に存在する時流体に全体としてさらされるように配置されるので、流体圧力の変化に応じた前記誘電体の圧縮または弛緩に伴って前記導電性要素間の距離とひいては前記コンデンサの静電容量が変化し、前記容器が、補給所から流体を分配する地点への輸送中加圧流体を貯蔵するのに適したコンテナである容器。
- 前記誘電体が、約1〜約10GPaの体積弾性係数(K)を有し、かつ/またはポリカーボネート、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル、及び/またはポリテトラフルオロエチレンポリマーを備える材料である、請求項19に記載の容器。
- 前記コンテナが補充可能な可搬型ガスシリンダまたはボトルである、請求項19または20に記載の容器。
- 前記コンテナがさらに、信号を送信するよう動作する請求項5または6に記載の装置を付属する、請求項19〜21の何れか1つに記載の容器。
- 前記容器がさらに、変形可能な弾性固体誘電体によって分離された第1及び第2の導電性要素を備え、加圧流体が前記容器内に存在する時流体の圧力の変化に無関係な基準静電容量を提供するため流体にさらされないように配置された第2のコンデンサを付属する、請求項18〜22の何れか1つに記載の容器。
- 前記第1及び第2のコンデンサが、前記2つのコンデンサの間の静電容量の差に相関する電圧出力を提供する回路の一部を形成する、請求項23に記載の容器。
- 前記固体誘電体が請求項13または14に記載のものである、請求項18〜24の何れか1つに記載の容器。
- 前記コンデンサが請求項15〜17の何れか1つに記載のものである、請求項18〜25の何れか1つに記載の容器。
- 加圧流体を供給する方法であって、請求項19、または請求項19に従属するときの請求項20〜26の何れか1つに記載の容器への充填を行い、充填したコンテナを供給することを含む方法。
- 前記容器には、少なくとも約20バールの圧力まで流体を充填する、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記容器には、約300バール未満の圧力まで流体を充填する、請求項27または28に記載の方法。
- 前記コンテナが、信号を送信するよう動作する請求項5または6に記載の装置を付属し、前記方法が、以前に供給したコンテナから前記信号を受信した時さらに別の充填したコンテナを供給するステップを含む、請求項27〜29の何れか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記装置が、通信ネットワークを介して中継される無線信号を送信する、請求項30に記載の方法。
