Description
前記電極組立体が接触する内面に少なくとも1つ以上の安全弁用ノッチが形成され一定距離離隔された一対の板状の第1壁体と、前記第1壁体より小さな面積を有し前記一対の第1壁体の2つの長辺を連結する一対の板状の第2壁体と、前記第2壁体より小さな面積を有し前記第1壁体と第2壁体とに同時に連結される板状の第3壁体とを有し、前記第3壁体に対向する方向に前記電極組立体が結合される開口部が設置された缶と、
前記開口部を封止するように前記缶の第1壁体及び第2壁体に溶接され、前記電極組立体が外部に離脱しないようにするキャップ組立体、及び
前記缶に注入された電解液を含むものである。
前記電極組立体が接触する内面に少なくとも1つ以上の安全弁用ノッチが形成され一定距離離隔された一対の板状の第1壁体と、前記第1壁体より小さな面積を有し前記一対の第1壁体の2つの長辺を連結する一対の板状の第2壁体と、前記第2壁体より小さな面積を有し前記第1壁体と第2壁体とに同時に連結される板状の第3壁体とを有し、前記第3壁体に対向する方向に前記電極組立体が結合される開口部が設置された缶と、
前記開口部を封止するように前記缶の第1壁体及び第2壁体に溶接され、前記電極組立体が外部に離脱しないようにするキャップ組立体、及び
前記缶に注入された電解液を含む2次電池において、前記第1壁体、前記第2壁体、前記第3壁体及び前記キャッププレートのうちの少なくとも1つの内面及び外面にノッチ及び補助ノッチが各々形成された安全弁を設けるものである。
図1Aには、本発明の参考例によるリチウムイオン2次電池100の斜視図が示されている。図1Bには、図1Aの分解斜視図が示されている。図1Cには、図1Aの1-1線の断面図が示されている。図1Dには、缶120の安全弁が作動した状態が図示されている。
なお、本発明の一実施例とは異なるが、参考例としては、前記補助ノッチ226の深さは、前記ノッチ225の深さより、深くなるように形成してもよく、あるいは同じ深さになるように形成してもよい。

Claims (8)
- 陽極電極板、陰極電極板、及びセパレーターが多数回巻取られて形成された電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体が接触する内面に少なくとも1つ以上の安全弁用ノッチが形成され一定距離離隔された一対の板状の第1壁体と、前記第1壁体より小さな面積を有し前記一対の第1壁体の2つの長辺を連結する一対の板状の第2壁体と、前記第2壁体より小さな面積を有し前記第1壁体と第2壁体とに同時に連結される板状の第3壁体とを有し、前記第3壁体に対向する方向に前記電極組立体が結合される開口部が設置された缶と、
前記開口部を封止するように前記缶の第1壁体及び第2壁体に溶接され、前記電極組立体が外部に離脱しないようにするキャップ組立体、及び
前記缶に注入された電解液を含み、
前記第1壁体には前記内面に形成された前記安全弁用ノッチと対応するように外面に一定の深さの補助ノッチが形成され、内面の前記安全弁用ノッチはお互いに断面が一点で会う内面の第1傾斜面及び内面の第2傾斜面で成り立って、外面の補助ノッチはお互いに断面が一点で会う外面の第1傾斜面及び外面の第2傾斜面で成り立って、前記安全弁用ノッチは、前記補助ノッチより深く形成されることを特徴とする角型リチウムイオン2次電池。 - 前記補助ノッチは、前記第1壁体の外面がプレスされて一定の深さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角型リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記安全弁用ノッチは、前記第1壁体の内面がプレスされて一定の深さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角型リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記安全弁用ノッチは直線の形態であり、前記缶の第3壁体の長手方向と平行に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角型リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記安全弁用ノッチは、前記第3壁体の長手方向の50〜90%の長さで形成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の角型リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記安全弁用ノッチは直線の形態であり、前記缶の第2壁体が有する長手方向と平行に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角型リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記安全弁用ノッチは、前記第2壁体の長手方向の50〜90%の長さで形成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の角型リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記安全弁用ノッチは、前記第2壁体の長手方向、及び前記第3壁体の長手方向に形成される部分を同時に有するように少なくとも一度以上折曲された形態であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角型リチウムイオン2次電池。
