Description
The present invention includes a flat cable (flexible flat cable, FFC: Flexible Flat Cable) in which a plurality of flat conductors are arranged in parallel in an insulating coating, and a plurality of cables that are held in parallel with a connection molded body. Regarding the structure for connecting the connection terminal of the book, more specifically, the connection structure of the flat cable and the connection terminal so that a good connection state can be obtained at low cost regardless of the difference in pitch between the flat conductor and the connection terminal, The present invention relates to an end structure of a flat cable using the same.
The flat rectangular conductor and the connection terminal are connected so as to overlap with each other with their length directions in the same direction. For this reason, when the pitch of the rectangular conductor is different from the pitch of the connection terminal, it is necessary to change at least one of the pitches.
When the pitch of the flat conductors of the flat cable is larger than the pitch of the connection terminals, as disclosed in the following
Conversely, when the pitch of the flat conductors of the flat cable is smaller than the pitch of the connection terminals, the flat
However, if the shape of the flat conductor and the connecting terminal of the flat cable are special as described above, the manufacturing costs are high. In addition, since the connection terminals cannot be shared, there is a problem that the connection terminals and the connection molded bodies must be manufactured for each product. Furthermore, even if the pitch of the flat conductors of the flat cable and the pitch of the connection terminals are made to coincide with each other, it is difficult to make them completely coincident with each other, which may cause a connection failure.
However, since the lengths of the connection terminals are different depending on the distance to the flat conductor, a plurality of types of connection terminals having different shapes are required, which increases costs. Further, when the connection structure as in
Therefore, the main object of the present invention is to obtain a good connection state at low cost regardless of the difference in pitch between the flat conductor and the connection terminal. Moreover, it aims at enabling it to attach also to the existing apparatus components.
The means for this is a flat cable connection end structure in which a plurality of connection terminals are connected to a flat cable having a plurality of flat conductors, and is applied to all the flat conductors arranged in parallel at the connection portion of the flat cable. On the other hand, the flat cable and the connection terminal are overlapped so that the connection terminals cross each other, and a connection portion for electrically connecting the flat conductor and the connection terminal is formed at a part of the intersection of the flat conductor and the connection terminal. The flat cable is formed in accordance with the circuit pattern without any positional order, and is formed and connected in advance to a connecting portion forming position for forming a connecting portion in the flat cable, and without an insulating coating covering the rectangular conductor. The end portion of the flat cable is provided with a cut along the length direction, and a plurality of leg portions are formed at the end portion of the flat cable. The connecting portion that is bent in a direction intersecting with the length direction of the cable, the bent leg portions are bent in the length direction of the leg portions and overlapped with each other, and the connecting terminal is connected to the overlapping portion. A flat cable connection end structure comprising a plate-like connection molded body for holding each of the plurality of connection terminals for each of the leg portions, and overlapping each of the connection molded bodies at the overlapping portion. is there.
The window portion may have a shape in which a plurality of connection portions are continuous or may be provided for each connection portion.
Here, about said structure, it can comprise in the following aspects.
One of the aspects is a flat cable connection end structure in which an insulating portion made of an insulating coating for covering a flat conductor is formed around a connection portion forming position for forming a connection portion in the flat cable.
As described above, according to the present invention, since a plurality of parallel rectangular conductors and connection terminals are overlapped so as to intersect each other, each intersects with a point instead of a line regardless of the pitch of the rectangular conductors and the connection terminals. . For this reason, a connection part can be obtained reliably. In addition, since there are a plurality of intersections for each connection terminal and each rectangular conductor, a desired connection can be made by forming a connection portion at a necessary intersection.
In addition, since it is not necessary to make the rectangular conductor and the connection terminal into a special shape, manufacturing can be performed at low cost. Further, the members can be shared, in particular, the connection terminals and the connection molded body can be shared, so that the cost can be reduced and the manufacturing can be facilitated. Furthermore, since it is not necessary to adjust the pitch, the alignment can be performed reliably and connection failures can be eliminated.
Also, by forming the leg portion and bending the leg portion, the length direction of the connection terminal and the length direction of the flat cable can be made the same, so the length direction of the flat conductor and the connection terminal can be It is possible to enable attachment to a conventional existing equipment component that is connected so as to overlap with a line in the same direction. In addition, since the leg portion formed with a cut becomes a dimension obtained by dividing the flat cable width into a plurality of dimensions, the height of the overlapping portion that is the connection portion with respect to the connection terminal can be reduced, and space saving can be achieved. it can. Therefore, it is possible to enable attachment to existing equipment parts from this point.
Regardless of the difference in pitch between the flat conductor and the connection terminal, the connection terminal is connected to all the flat conductors arranged in parallel at the connection part of the flat cable in order to obtain a good connection state at a low cost. A structure in which the flat cable and the connection terminal are overlapped so that they intersect, and a connection part that electrically connects the flat conductor and the connection terminal is formed at a part of the intersection of the flat conductor and the connection terminal. Realized. The “connection portion” described above exists in the number of divided portions when the end portion of the flat cable is divided in the width direction.
In addition, for the purpose of enabling attachment to existing equipment parts, a cut along the length direction is provided at the end of the flat cable, and a plurality of leg portions are formed at the end of the flat cable. At the same time, these leg portions are bent in a direction crossing the length direction of the flat cable, the bent leg portions are bent in the length direction of the leg portions, and are superposed on each other. This is achieved by forming a connection part that connects the two. The above-mentioned leg portions may be two or three, and are appropriately set according to the width of the flat cable and the shape of the device part to be incorporated.
Hereinafter, an embodiment for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a connection structure between the
The
The
The arrangement pitch of the
To connect the flat cable and the connection terminal as described above, the following is performed.
It superposes | stacks so that the
Subsequently, connecting
The
As shown in FIG. 4, when the dot-
According to the connection structure of the
For example, as shown in FIG. 5, when a large number of
Further, since it is not necessary to make the
Further, there are a plurality of intersections of the
In the above description, an example is shown in which all the
Hereinafter, an example in which the end portion of the

Here, the

The rotating
As shown in FIG. 8B, the
In this state, as shown in FIG. 8, the
Then, as shown in FIG. 11, the
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 11 (b), the
Then, as shown in FIG.11 (c), the superposition |
Further, as shown in FIG. 8, the connection molded
FIG. 13 is a front view showing the structure of the connection end 18 of the flat cable (flat cable connection end structure) in which the
As a result, even when the
In addition, the
Furthermore, when such a structure is adopted, the number of
Conversely, even when the number of connecting poles is increased and a large number of
In the connection end structure of the
The above description is one form for implementing this invention, This invention is not limited only to said structure, Other forms can also be employ | adopted.
For example, a flat cable is provided with a plurality of connection portions separated in the length direction, and connection terminals held by connection molded bodies are connected to these connection portions by forming connection portions, respectively. The connection molded body is polymerized by bending the space. When forming the above-described connection portion, the connection portion is not formed on the adjacent rectangular conductor in one connection portion. With such a configuration, since the connecting portions formed in the adjacent rectangular conductors can be separated, for example, even in the case of a flat cable with a narrow arrangement pitch of the rectangular conductors, a reliable connection state can be obtained.
