Description
The present invention relates to an ultrasonic flaw detection method and an ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus, and more particularly to an ultrasonic flaw detection method and an ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus that can accurately detect a defect present in a subject.
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, an ultrasonic flaw detection method has been used in order to inspect a defect such as an internal crack in a non-destructive manner using a metal welded portion or the like as an inspection target. As such an ultrasonic flaw detection method, there is a phased array method. As shown in FIG. 6 (a), this uses a phased array type transmission /
As an effective solution in this regard, an ultrasonic wave is emitted toward the
However, in the above-described prior art, when the specimen is a stainless steel welded
The present invention has been made to solve the above problem, and an ultrasonic flaw detection method capable of accurately detecting existing defects even when ultrasonic scattering or refraction occurs due to the structure or material of an object such as a welded portion.
Next, an ultrasonic flaw detection method according to this reference example will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG. First, the
At this time, as shown in FIG. 2A, the
Next, the propagation time data of the ultrasonic wave in the transmission / reception of the ultrasonic wave obtained in steps S101 and S102 (that is, the transmission time of the ultrasonic wave by the
3(R. The sound velocity distribution in the
TOFD(Time Of Flight Diffraction)法で評価して、大凡の見当を付けて特定してもよいし、或いは、任意に設定してもよい。 Next, defect detection is performed based on the obtained sound velocity distribution. First, the convergence position of the transmission / reception sensor (phased array UT) 30 is specified (step S104). Note that the convergence position may be determined by evaluating with the TOFD (Time Of Flight Diffraction) method based on the data obtained by transmission / reception of ultrasonic waves (steps S101 and S102), , You may set arbitrarily.
Next, the delay time of the ultrasonic wave transmitted from each
As described above, according to the ultrasonic flaw detection method and the ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus of the present reference example , reflection of ultrasonic waves emitted from the

[ Reference Example 2 ]
Next, an ultrasonic flaw detection method and an ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus according to Reference Example 2 will be described. FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram for explaining ultrasonic flaw detection by the ultrasonic flaw detection method and the ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus according to this reference example . In this reference example , the phased array UT11 is used as a transmission sensor in the transmission / reception step (steps S101 and S102) of the reference example 1 described above.
In Reference Example 1 , a single transducer sensor is used as the
As described above, in this reference example , since the detection on the receiving side in the transmission / reception step for calculating the sound speed distribution is improved, the accuracy of the sound speed distribution is expected to be improved. As a result, the convergence property of ultrasonic waves in defect detection can be further improved, and the defect detection accuracy can be further improved.

Further, when the reception sensors 21-1 to 21-N arranged at different positions are used as the

For example, in Reference Example 1 to Reference Example 3 and the embodiment, when calculating the sound velocity distribution in the subject, the transmission sensor and the reception sensor are arranged on one surface, and the arrival time of the reflected wave from the other surface is calculated. However, the sound velocity distribution may be calculated by measuring the arrival time of the ultrasonic transmitted wave by installing the receiving sensor on the surface facing the installation surface of the transmitting sensor.
